Bad Texture
2Texture is awful.. leaves a weird chalky feeling in your mouth. And when you mix it, it foams up really bad. i had banana, tastes alright but i wouldnt choose it again. Tried strawberry before and that also had the bad texture. Love the impact whey and loads of the other MP products, just not this casein.

Poor blendability
3I have been using this for almost a year and I have gained about 10kg although I cant say whether it was to do with my drastic diet change and training or whether it really did contribute to my gains, but I do feel personally that this does help me meet my daily protein requirements. My major problem is that its really hard to blend. Im shaking it for ages and I am left with a grainy texture and a very thick foam which is very difficult to swallow. I have to then add more water and shake again which is really annoying. I do find that I sometimes cant be bothered and end up throwing the foam away which would be 1/6th of the shake. I have tried it with milk and it does blend a little better than water but you are still faced with a slightly less grainy texture and the foam and it does become very filling. It may work better if you use a blender but I dont have the patience for that. Therefore although it may be cheaper I am considering purchasing this product from ON next time as it doesnt really seem cost effective to me at present. Goes Well With:Water, milk possibly a blender

Taste lests the product down
4I've got the chocolate flavour and it just tastes too powdery, I've tried adding more and less water and it still tastes poor. It's drinkable but you have to down it. Also the chocolate flavouring is too weak. Next time I order I'm going to buy unflavoured and add loads of water to try and make it thinner then add loads of black current or something. Thick but good

Up, up, up and away!
4I fancied increasing my daily protein intake with a slow-release drink to consume before bed, allowing a drip-feed into my system while I slept overnight. After a bit of online research, this seemed like a suitable product, and I placed an order for the banana flavour, as I'm currently using the Optimum Nutrition milk chocolate for my pre- and post-workout shake, and too much chocolate can be a flavour contrast and a bit of an overload for your taste buds. Firstly - be warned! This mixture is EXCEPTIONALLY light... It's almost like talcum powder. It's bright white, and no matter how gently you open the bag, a cloud of the stuff *always* puffs out and settles. If you're wearing black clothes, they'll need to go in the wash to get the stuff out, as it doesn't just brush off. My work uniform is black, so I always make sure I'm changed for bed before preparing the shake. The flavour is great - again, mildly synthetic, but what the heck do you expect? It tastes like banana, and I'm quite happy with that. I use a cheap smoothie maker to mix it up, and having read other reviews, I concur that the texture of the drink is strange - although it's a liquid, it has quite a "chalky" undertone. However, it mixes well, it tastes good, and it does exactly what it says. If you're picky about flavours or textures, then you probably shouldn't be shopping for protein-based products. MP do an excellent job of producing fine products, and ultimately, this is no different. Overall, I'd recommend this product for the price and service you get from My Protein. The only downside is the actual powder being so light - I would much rather have it supplied in a tub than a bag, as that would reduce the amount that's carried in the air.Goes Well With:Sleep.

Excellent product
5I have the unflavoured one to reduce sugar intake before bed but I have to have it with milk, and I must say I like the froth on it. For those who say it doesn't mix well maybe you need to improve your shaking as I get a smooth texture every time but you must put the liquid in first. I've also used it to make a pancake mix with some egg whites and a banana in the morning as it makes the mix thicker. Very good productGoes Well With:Milk.

Fix the foam problem by adding a scoop of whey powder
3After battling with the horrible foam this product creates, I tried mixing it with a scoop of whey, and hey presto, NO MORE FOAM!!!Goes Well With:Whey and water

5I recently purchased this as I've started weightlifting. I love the product it's brilliant if you have a sweet tooth at night and fills you up!! I'm starting to Also notice a slight body image change which I'm really happy with! Only thing I'd say it doesn't mix really well, can be quite lumpy but everything else is great !!Goes Well With:Water, milk, or and egg to make a protein pancake
