Love the idea of a protein latte and was really excited to try it. The taste is nice and it's got a real coffee kick, but it's so sweet! I would liken it to having two sugars in a milky coffee, and for someone who doesn't take sugar in their hot drinks it's a bit much.....Myprotein is there anyway you could do a sweetened and unsweetened version? Love the idea of a protein hot drinks though, so gonna give the hot chocolate a go to see if that's less sweet.
Used this product a lot now and I never get bored of the taste, I'm using one scoop to 400ml of milk and its tastes really good. I highly recommend this product as it's good for a morning drink with breakfast, or as a dinner time drink as it's easy enough to make prep it in the morning and take it to work. Only down side is the delivery by Yodel, time and time again I get packages left in the door step for best part of the day. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this? But I have lost orders due to the poor standards of a delivery service. MyProtein on the over hand have been excellent with all matters regarding this.
2 chaps who like to experiment, so thought we'd try Protein Hot Latte. 1st attempt was with milk. Mixability was poor and so to was the taste. Very sweet and taste little like a latte. 2nd attempt was with boiling water. Mixability even worse and the taste unpalatable. Will try making flapjacks with them as to not waste precious protein. I would recommend people just have a coffee and a protein shake in separate mugs.
It is a shame this is too sweet, it tastes like a latte but with about 4 sugars in. I don't know why MP can't make it unsweetened then people can add their own sugar or sweetener to taste. I won't be buying this again. Goes Well With:Nothing
Such as shame. If it weren't so sweet it would be nice. It's like someone has put 10 sugars in your coffee Goes Well With:The bin
Received this today. It tastes just like a sachet of nescafe Latte. Only complaint is that it's quite frothy when you shake it so you have to stop the microwave regularly or it will overflow.
When I ordered Latte with protein I expect great texture and taste experience . I opened pouch and taste it. Excelent taste. I put one schoop to cup and pour boiling water. Smells great. Wait 10 minutes and taste it. Shock!!! Very much sweet. Not melt. On the top pieces protein. And when I approaching to end mixability like mud mud mud. I dont recommend it for morning coffe. Much sweet, not mixability, like mud. Maybe for joghurt or cottage.
Hey guys I see a lot of you have a problem mixing the shake. What I do is I put it in my morning oatmeal. Since oats can be tasteless I think it helps a lot with that. I also eat my oats with unsweetened almond milk.
This is crazy too sweet! Needs more fluid than recommended to mix.
I can't live without this stuff
I like the concept of having the protein latte. I normally have a coffee in the afternoon so its a great way to get some extra protein in the bag! However, this product is far too sweet for my liking. For someone who normally takes only 1 sugar in their coffee, this tastes like 3-4. I'm surprised MyProtein, in this instance, did not opt for the sweet free option given people have very different preferences to sweetness in their coffee. Would be great to see MyProtein produce a plain latte version!
Wouldn't recommend mixing with hot water (clumpy powerdry drink) tastes awful The best result I found was heating up 350ml of milk then put a scoop in the milk and blend it up using a electronic whisk which works really well, tastes nice and is also smooth. Only problem is it does taste sweet, I have a sweet tooth and I do find this product abit to sweet for my liking Overall though it is a pretty decent product when blended up with warm milk Goes Well With:Warm milk
Pretty much undrinkable, so so sickly sweet it's not even funny, for someone who doesn't take sugar in anything this was horrible, had 1 cup and gave the rest of the pack away. Why oh why are all protein supplements packed full of atifitial sweatener???
Great idea but far too sweet. Usually sugar is added to hot drinks if required!Goes Well With:No sugar!
Quick and easy to make up and tastes even better than the shop bought instant hot latte.i just love the creamy taste. I also tried it with a few caramel flav drops, which I thought was very good. Goes Well With:Water.
Decent product, would recommend you heat the milk up separately in the microwave, pour into the blender then add the scoops. It becomes incredibly foamy if you follow the instructions on the product and overflows before it reaches the desired heat. Nevertheless great taste and nutrition (also very filling)!
As a coffee lover this was a must buy! Got it today and had to try straight away, gotta say i was very impressed! Mixed very well with water and tastes amazing!! Think i could become slightly addicted!
Bought this product because I love a nice hot drink and if i could have more protein intake with it, why not? I just Love this product. I mix with water, make a big cup and normally I enjoy it at middle morning/afternoon. Great taste, its satisfy my need of sweet snacks and now is part of my daily diet. Totally recommended!!Goes Well With:Water
Tastes a little bit too sweet. Otherwise good substitution for coffe. Would like to have more flavours in the future. Sometimes it mixes poorly.Goes Well With:Water
Mixability is very poor and it is very sweet. I don't recommand it.
