The nutritional value of these babies is excellent with 35+ Grams of protein per cookie. They are also quite high in calories (300+) so are useful if you're bulking. They travel well if you're looking for some thing to keep in work drawer or training bag. Just be aware that it's not a cookie in real terms. It goes well with a hot drink and tastes better than a lot of bars and and sports snacks but it's no replacement for a real cookie. But then real cookies don't give you the nutrition. A good product but taste is average.
I tried the White chocolate and almond cookie and I wasn't impressed with this product at all. The consistency was literally like eating paste. I won't be purchasing this again :(
Protein cookies have been a great snack based product that i have tried, i used to stick with the double chocolate, white chocolate almond which was like marzipan and choc mint chip which was my favorite until these new flavours, rocky road, cookies and cream and oat and raisin were released, i recommend you try one of these as they are all unique and make for a great high protein treat. The protein content is very high almost 40 grams per cookie which makes them a great substitute for a protein shake plus i feel these keep you fuller for a longer time period which makes them great for use in between meals. if you found value in my review then please use my referral code 'geoff - rdt' (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters while signing up for a great offer.Goes Well With:Inbetween Meals As a high protein snack
Loads of protein, but it is a little chalky and still tastes more like protein powder than it does like a cookie. Got one in the Birthday Box and am glad I got to try it.
These cookies are thick and chewy - just the way I like cookies to be. Have great amounts of protein and taste awesome too! Love the white chip ones the best
Tried a sample of this and I was pleasantly surprised! Taste was quite nice and it's a soft baked consistency. It is quite stodgy but I liked it as it kept me full for ages! I have a massive sweet tooth also so felt like I was indulging but without being too naughty! This is not your classic crunchy style cookie therefore it may not be to everyone's taste but I'd certainly recommend trying them yourself if you're curious! :-)
Texture was good, as near to a real soft cookie but without the guilt! I think all protein products such as these always have a slight gritty sandy texture to them but i think this was minimal to what Ive tried from other brands in the past. Goes well with my protein peanut butter, heat in the microwave for 10-20 secs and it becomes like a hot sticky brownie, yum!
Absolutely stinking. Flavour is nothing like oatmeal and raisin, almost unedible. Texture and appearance were pretty good but not much use to rectify the taste.
Tried 4 flavours of these cookies but to be honest they all tasted very similar. They are not as nice as other brands I've tried and are more expensive and contain more sugar.
Tasted nice an wasnt heavy on the stomach
I was sceptical about this one. I bought it to try then realised that it was not suitable for vegetarian! A friend of mine tested it and was really happy with it. Goes Well With:Coffee
Thank god I bought the sample not the whole box. Had the tiniest bite and I must say , it tastes so grainy and it's like I am eating hard play dough. Not very chocolatey either.
One reviewer said it tastes like protein powder mixed with some dough. Honestly - that describes it best, I'd say it tastes even worse than that. Dough tastes nice sometimes. This was like dough with soda. People that think it tastes good - have you never tried good cookies???
Honestly I really wanted to like this. I got an orange chocolate protein cookie, and it felt squidgy and soft in the packet so I was really looking forward to it. Opened the packet and wasn't expecting much, as I know sometimes protein brownies/cookies can have a weird taste. It smelt a bit weird but I was willing to get over it. Had a bite, initially it was okay, but as I chewed it felt like it was just sandy dusty horrible gritty mud. The taste was awful and I could hardly finish chewing it. Somehow made my mouth kind of burn? As for effectiveness; I'm sure it's great for what it's meant for, but honestly, you might as well just get a different brand (some of the standard Uk supermarket protein bars are really nice) or stick with a shake. Goes Well With:Dust, sand, regretting your purchases.
This cookie taste like protein mixed with a dough..
I personally love this cookie. Its so big so I have half at a time! Tastes like a protein bar but more filling and has enough chocolate chips. I even heat mine up for 20 seconds in the microwave, its very soft.Goes Well With:Cup of coffee
Love the taste of white chocolate almond and high in protein! :)
The size of the cookie is great- perfect on the go snack. The consistency is light, not too heavy. Great chocolate taste and moist... I found it too sugary though. It was too over powering. A little less sweetness please... Goes Well With:Warm milk, herbal tea, water
Good taste, consistent and really help you to kill the hungry feeling with a little piece of healthy sweet.
Really good to snack on if feeling hungry and refusing to cheat your clean eating. Seriously filling and tasty Goes Well With:Bottle of water or on its own
