What is Omega 3?
Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid sourced from fish oil, which is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). As humans are incapable of synthesising Omega 3, it is essential that we consume them via dietary sources.
What are the Key Benefits?
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. To obtain these benefits, a daily 250mg intake of EPA and DHA is recommended, which can be met with two softgel doses of Omega 3 (containing a total of 360mg of EPA and 240mg of DHA). Omega 3 is extremely cost effective and suitable for on-the-go consumption anywhere, anytime.

Omega 3 is a supplement that provides you with essential fatty acids in the form of EPA and DHA, these are very good value for money and have improved my overall health by providing me with smoother less crunchy joints, improved mental capacity and even aiding in shifting unwanted excess body fat, these make a great addition to any fat loss based diet and also provide an aid with gaining lean muscle mass. normally is use 5-6 of these per day to get the required amounts of EPA and DHA, there is another more concentrated mega version if this omega 3 that better if you require the higher doses because you do not have to consume 5-6 of them a day which could be an inconvenience for some having to go through so many soft-gels. To get a great discount on your order use code geoff - rdt (with no spaces in between) in capital letters, thanks again and hope this was of benefit to you :). Goes Well With:Water
I wasn't taking this for the highstreet reasoning that most people take Omega 3 for. I am still young and during my teenage growth stage I grew from about 5 11 to over 6 4 in have a year so my joints were pretty beaten up despite the fact a was pushing my body most days in the gym or on the rugby pitch. More recently I have found that there was been increasing stiffness in the joints that have led to some discomforting sounds from deep within the joints. For example, when I would put my arm at 90 degrees in a outstetched supinated position and extended the arm it would make a crushing sound. Then a study done by the University of Havard, said that increased amounts of fish oils can lead to joint lubication. So I decided to start taking it daily and no word of a lie. In only 3 days all clicks, crushing and other sounds are completely gone. Its amazing. Would recommend to anyone
Brilliant essential supplement for a great price! The capsules are quite large but you get used to them! They're smooth & you can hardly taste it at all! They do smell slightly but what can you expect with Omega 3 eh! Delivery was super fast as usual - cant fault MyProtein!
I had received this in a diet and weight loss bundle just a couple of days ago, I started taking them yesterday. At first I found it hard to swallow and it took me a couple of tries to actually finish swallowing it, there was a funky smell in the pot so I was worrying about an after taste but luckily... There was no after taste!! I was surprised to find an Omega 3 pot with no after taste. A day later (today) I was able to swallow the Omega 3 instantly with no trouble like I had yesterday, and even though it has only been a day, I have noticed that my joints feel more healthier, I constantly used to have to click my neck, fingers, elbows, back and knees, and sometimes it used to be hard, now sometimes I don't even have to click them, I don't feel the need to and sometimes they click instantly instead of me hurting myself to do it. I will 100% buy this product again!
Quality fish oils that have been working great with my current maintenance diet to meet requirements for essential fatty acids, the EPA and DHA fatty acid content is sufficient i find at a dose of around 4 - 6 softgels per day, i tend to have 2 with my main meals either twice or three times per day, since using omega 3 on a regular basis in combination with CLA i have noticed better overall body composition, i have become slightly leaner overall in the midsection, mental clarity and mood have also improved which i attribute to the positive effect the essential fatty acids have on brain health. Good product which works well with a solid multivitamin to support optimal health and wellbeing, heart and brain health, i also find it lubricates joints and makes heavier lifting easier and less intensive on my joints. These soft gels provide a good decent source of efa's e.g. EPA and DHA which are two fatty acids which cannot be produced by the body e.g. these essential fatty acids are important for general health and wellbeing in that they allow for optimal heart and brain function, i also find they work well to lubricate my joints and make training sessions with heavy weights more bearable. Omega 3 fatty acids have been a staple supplement for me for the past few years now and i find they work well to allow for optimal muscle gains and fat loss and mix well with a solid protein powder, creatine supplement and multivitamin. if you found any value in this review then please use code: GEOFF - RDT (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout to get up to 85% off order depending on current offers, thanks and i hope this was of benefit to you :). Omega 3 Fatty Acids are an essential supplement i feel to support health of the cardiovascular system by improving HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, working to thin blood and also improve heart and brain function, i also find joints ache and click less when using 6 of these soft gels per day or 3 of the super strength ones. I feel that because these fatty acids cannot be made by the body and must be sourced from this supplement or a fatty fish such as salmon usage of them is highly important to allow for the individual to be performing optimally, these aid with the muscle building and fat loss process and i feel are just as essential as whey protein and creatine for improving workout performance and work in favour to aid longevity. My mood is boosted and i feel calmer and less stressed when using these in combination with 5-HTP and a solid multivitamin / multimineral supplement. if you found any value in this review then please use code: GEOFF - RDT (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout to get up to 85% off order depending on current offers.Goes Well With:Creatine Whey Multivitamins
This product is the cheapest in the market with the same EPA and DHA content as others. Useful to take 1-3 a day. It is easier to swallow than other capsules of the same size. It comes in a transparent bottle so place it in a cupboard to avoid oxidation. The fish burps can be avoided by taking after a meal. Goes Well With:Water after a meal
Take a look at the EPA and DHA contents before buying. They are one of the lowest that I have found and only noticed this once they arrived - stupid me!!! EPA 180MG and DHA 120MG. You can find brands with over 550mg of both DHA and EPA Acids which is what's important... They are slightly more expensive in comparison but you get what you pay for I suppose.
Trying this at the moment as don't eat much fish. Fairly large size. But easy enough to swallow. Great price. Bottle smells a bit fishy so was worried they may repeat on me. However they did not. Defo buy again 👌🏻Goes Well With:Water and my mouth
Cheap and exactly as described, as you get lower and lower down to the bottom of the tub it smells more and more fishy but that is expected from fish oils! Always buy these
A must have in your diet, whether you eat fish or not. I do a lot of intense exercise and so take these tablets to support my joints. Never had any problems taking 2 of a morning and 2 of an evening.
Our body's do not produce enough omega 3 even if all you are was fish! It's an essential supplement for me, helps keep my weight down, skin hair and nails healthy.
I been using them for a while, I like them. BUT and it's a big BUT, my last 2 tubs had burst ones leaving a really bad smell and oily coat that lingers over your fingers and gym bag etc.. It's quite sickly. My colleagues and mrs moan at me!
Bought 250 pieces of softgel 3 months ago, and It was really good because I didn't taste any fish kinda flavour. Even didn't smell in the plastic holder. I hate fish to be honest. Unfortunately I don't know how but one of them, or more punctured in the bottom of the plastic, stuck there and caused huge fish smell and flavour. When I took one I smelled fish on my fingers and ehhw I hated it! I decided to drop them out to the trash..Next time I would rather buy 90 softgels to prevent these kinda situations
Whey protein is awesome according to taste, price and results. The chocolate peanut butter has been a newer addition to the range for me and i find it is awesome, it tastes great and has the chocolate and peanut blended to form a great tasting shake, it is not overpowered or artificial tasting like some other choc peanut or peanut butter whey proteins that i have tried, i feel taste is subjective and not all important for results but it is nice to have a shake that is easy to consume and something you actually enjoy. As for results this is a top end protein that has been aiding my progress in adding lean muscle over the past few months of my lean mass gain and mini fat loss phases to keep body in leaner condition than previous years. This whey protein mixes easily in water or milk without foaming or forming mini clumps / lumps which do not dissolve which is an issue i have had in the past with other powders. To further amplify the nutritionals of your shakes i recommend adding some peanut butter or almond butter in the smooth versions as these blend better i feel, instant oats also work well to thicken up the shakes and make them more of a meal replacement type product. This in chocolate peanut butter version makes some great protein pancakes when used in combo with the high protein pancake mix in chocolate or unflavoured to add in extra protein, i also mix it with greek yogurt or natural yogurt on occasion to make some awesome tasting protein pudding if stored in fridge or ice cream if freezer is used. Really high quality peanut butter that is great in both the smooth and crunchy options, smooth works better i feel as an addition to shakes to add awesome peanut butter flavour and also increase nutrient content by adding in calories from clean fats and protein, this mixes great with impact whey in chocolate peanut butter or chocolate brownie flavour to make for a do it yourself lean mass gaining shake, if you need more calories you can add in some coconut oil or mct powder and some flax or chia seeds, all work well to further amplify nutrition of your protein shakes and smoothies. The crunchy version works better i feel when added to some high protein porridge, or spread on top of protein brownies or pancakes the texture of this version is improved by the chunkiness of crunchy pieces which improve overall flavour. If you are looking for a better quality purer than store bought nut butter this is a viable option and works well but most of all tastes great which makes consuming it on a regular basis to add calories easy. Be warned though consumption is self limiting and this is very moreish as a food source and very easy to overeat which is why i have to refrain from adding it into my fat loss phases because i cannot resist the temptation of adding it to shakes or eating it with a spoon.

In excercises bench press, deadlift and squat plays an important role in building our strength and muscles. In deit my protein supplements works the best. Whey protein is produced during the process that sees milk turned into cheese. It is also found naturally in dairy products, eggs, soy and vegetable proteins but none of these compares in quality to whey protein powder. It also scores highly in providing the branched chain amino acids that are important in the building and retention of muscle.Whey protein is highly favored by bodybuilders because it provides the necessary building blocks to produce the amino acids that the body uses to build lean muscle tissue. Many studies have shown that whey protein contains the perfect combination of amino acids, in just the right concentration for optimal performance in the body. It is also thought that whey protein has a role as an anti-oxidant and immune system builder. It is best taken in powder form mixed in juice or milk, spread throughout the day to maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Serious bodybuilders often consume up to one hundred fifty grams each day but as a rule of thumb, daily protein intake for active trainers can be calculated by taking your weight in pounds and multiplying by one or two. But remember, you need to work out how much protein is taken from food and other sources, and then spread the remaining whey protein balance over the day.Whey protein is a relatively safe supplement but no more than thirty grams of protein should be taken at one sitting as excessive single doses could overload the liver. The safety of whey protein has been well documented in many scientific studies and there is clear proof that taken consistently, coupled with regular exercise, it will result in meaningful muscle gain.
Protein plays a vital role in our body.Digestion typically begins in the stomach when pepsinogen is converted to pepsin by the action of hydrochloric acid, and continued by trypsin and chymotrypsin in the small intestine. Before the absorption in the small intestine, most proteins are already reduced to single amino acid or peptides of several amino acids. Most peptides longer than four amino acids are not absorbed. Absorption into the intestinal absorptive cells is not the end. There, most of the peptides are broken into single amino acids. I wanna thank everyone who used my referral code. Despite concerns about protein causing kidney damage and contributing to osteoporosis, this is not true. In fact, protein has been shown to protect against osteoporosis, while having no impact on healthy kidneys. However, people with current kidney or liver issues may want to avoid whey protein, or at least consult with a medical professional before taking it. Eating too much whey protein can cause digestive issues such as nausea, flatulence, diarrhea, pain and cramping. Some people are also allergic to whey. If you can't tolerate regular whey protein concentrate, then isolate or hydrolysate may be more appropriate... or simply avoiding whey protein and eating other protein rich foods instead. But generally speaking, whey protein has an excellent safety profile and most people can consume it without any problems whatsoever.
