N Acetyl L Tyrosine (NALT) is an acetylated derivative of the non-essential amino acid L Tyrosine. Due to the acetylation it is suggested that NALT is more rapidly absorbed and bioavailable than L Tyrosine, meaning it can have a more profound effect.
L Tyrosine is one of the 20 non-essential amino acids used by cells to synthesize proteins. It is considered a non-essential amino acid since it can be made in the body.
From an athletic perspective, L Tyrosine is often used to heighten mental alertness, increase feelings of well-being and offset physical and mental fatigue, particularly during heavy exercise. It also has an antioxidant effect, helping to protect cell membranes from the damage caused by free radical molecules.
L Tyrosine deficiency may cause a variety of conditions, including muscle loss, weakness, low protein levels, mood disorders and liver damage.

Has to be taken on an empty stomach to work. It's wasted if mixed with protein, or taken with food. Best results, take at least 30 - 60 minutes before breakfast, and not good taken later than midday/early afternoon or it can prevent sleep caused from becoming too allert and active. Fruit is an occasional exception. Possibly, co-factors aren't required for this form of excitatory neurotransmitter.
MyProtein supplements are good for our overall health. Daily intake of protein help in reducing fat from our body. Today we will discuss about benefits of protein in our body.Protein is in the spotlight these days, with articles touting diets high in protein and advertisements for protein powders in the media. Protein is, of course, an important building block in the body, but it is not the only building block. And furthermore, protein is made up of a variety of substances, with the result that not all protein sources are equal in value. Here are some of the facts about proteins Protein is essential to a healthy heart and a healthy body; animal sources of protein including eggs are better for you nutritionally since they contain all of the essential amino acids; as with most nutrients and vitamins, both too much and too little protein have detrimental effects on the body; and, protein cannot be stocked up like fat but must be eaten daily. Protein is the basic nutrient and plays an essential role in carrying cholesterol and preventing heart disease. The human body in its complexity needs dozens of nutritive substances. The one that stands before all others is protein, or proteins, since there is not one but hundreds of kinds of protein. Here’s what protein contributes We are literally made of protein from our bones to our muscles, arteries and veins, skin, hair, and fingernails. Our heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and lungs are built of tissue made of proteins.Proteins help carry the oxygen that reddens our blood. In the form of enzymes, proteins digest our food, synthesize essential substances, and break down waste products for elimination. When fat and carbohydrates are insufficient, proteins produce the energy we need for life.Proteins in combination with a substance called sterols form hormones, which regulate the delicate chemical changes that constantly take place within the body. The chromosomes, which pass on our characteristics to our children, include protein in their structure.Protein is needed to carry fat and cholesterol throughout the body.
Not as good as other simulants but for its price its very good. I sometimes mix it in my coffe and that gives pretty good effects. Its great for energy and mood.Goes Well With:caffeine or noopept (both work great with NALT but together they don't work that well)
I was amazed how well this works. I take it on an empty stomach before training or any time when I feel tired and mentally sluggish (up to twice a day). It dissolves pretty well in water and doesn't taste of much. It take effect really fast- I feel mentally sharper and stimulated but in a better way to the blunt stimulating effect of caffeine. Stacked with acetyl carnosine and ALA it's great pre-workout boost and anytime energise and aid focus.Goes Well With:water/ sugar free squash, ALCAR, ALA
I use this as a preworkout for boxing, and this works great. My focus is high and i don't ever feel over stimulated. This does also work well for weight training first thing in the morningGoes Well With:Caffiene
I have tried a lot of supplements and this is in my top 3 (along with Creatine and Beta-Alanine). This alone improves mental alertness and focus. It can delay the feeling of fatigue (mental and physical). Brilliant supplement. e.g after having 4 hours sleep, going to work and the to the gym. Taking this at around 5pm. I am still functioning and NOT tired past midnight.
"I have been using NALT for a while now, and the effect IMO is noticeably more potent than normal l-tyrosine. What can i say - its simply an awesome nootropic! Brilliant before training wihtout the stimulant jitters. However, if you did want to combo it with a stimulant, a half tsp of chacmine and you are FLYING! I have used the MP caps which are great but not all that cost effective, so im really happy MP have bought it out in the more cost effective powder form."
Decided to give this supplement a go to give me an edge whilst cycling to work and also keep me mentally focused during my working day. First of all it mixes really well in my protein and the unflavoured version is exactly that. I'm not one for writing negative reviews however I do like to be honest and I notice absolutely no difference/benefit after taking this supplement. Perhaps I'm immune, maybe I should increase the dosage, its a shame as it was exactly the kind of supplement I was looking for. I Will persevere with the remainder I have left perhaps taking it stand alone and at different times to see if that has any impact. Goes Well With:whey protein
