Whey protein concentrate ready-to-mix powder comprised of large micelles. Unflavoured.
Micellar Whey Protein is a ground-breaking protein powder that is more than just your standard whey protein concentrate. With the amino acid profile of whey, and the release properties of casein, Micellar Whey Protein will revolutionise the sports nutrition market.
A unique production process results in the formation of extra-large micelle molecules that have an increased resistance to proteases. This means that you still get all the properties of whey protein, except with a release rate similar to Micellar Casein, which is generally regarded as a “slow protein”.
Take Micellar Whey Protein before or after a workout or between meals to keep your protein levels topped up. Micellar Whey Protein provides 23g of protein per 30g serving which will contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. The ultrafiltration process used to produce Micellar Whey Protein ensures a low sugar content, with 1g of sugar provided in each serving.
Please note that the labelling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.

I was the first reviewer of the Miceller Caesin XL (MC XL), so thought I best review the other to compare. Initially after trying the two, I preferred the MC XL to the Micellar Whey, partly due to the longer release time, but also because the Macro's were slightly friendlier; the only drawback with the Miceller Whey is the fat content at around 9g per 100g, but it's still low carb, high protein, and in fairness does probably adds to taste, texture, mixability, but it's still a little high compared to Isolates etc if your being really meticulous with your nutrition, or want to use it as the only source to clean bulk. However, having the two powders sat in my cupboard, and then getting on with life, training, and the diet; because your macro's can vary according to your activity and previous food intake, and especially if your a high volume trainer, then there are specific times, where it will add benefits like no other, and it is a gamechanger in a crowded marketplace where different proteins usually only offer marginal benefits. You can also improve the macro's combining other fast/slow proteins like the MC XL. The main reason I would describe it as a gamechanger is because of the absorption/effectiveness. Whey is the Usain Bolt of proteins, it reaches your muscles faster than anything else (albeit peptides), it is the most powerful biologically, but the body can only realistically take in 30-60g at a time from a fast single source, so the rest is likely turned to expensive urine. Satiety is also low, which is why Caesin is better for weight loss/management; but with the Micellar Whey release time being like caesin, you can make a big shake and your body will absorb more of it efficiently, so it's best of both worlds, slow release + high biological value. I didn't buy it for taste, but it is better tasting most proteins, Strawberry Cream went down a treat...But, is it still worth the price premium I hear you ask?...Yes, without doubt in shadow of my mind, and i've been long user Sports Nutrition as a PT of 13 years. It's convenient, saves you having to always take on extra meals, and will do the job of maximizing absorption/effectiveness. Goes Well With:Miceller Caesin XL, ISO 97, Carnipro, Egg White
I usually buy imapct whey protein or total protein, but because of a sale I tried it. Micellar Whey Protein's powder has unusual shape compare of Impact whey protein, but it's very effective for me, I use 50g after the gym and 30 g before sleep. My msucles were always refulled, better than when I use Impact whey Protein. It's a bit more expensive protein powder, but I suggest to use at least once. Goes Well With:Milk, water, bcaa powder
Taste not great, but very effective in working on tired muscle. Goes Well With:Water, fruit juice.
Easily the nicest tasting vanilla protein I've tried. I normally have this protein after I've worked out and its helped me recover and full until my meal is ready. I've made banana muffins with this too and they were amazing, also made chocolate milkshake using this, almond milk, almond butter and choc shot. Everybody needs a feeling of a treat now and then! Definitely buy this again.Goes Well With:Water Almond milk Coconut milk Whole milk - this and ice blended tastes like McDonald's milkshake! Or added into recipes for baking
