I'm a runner who also does light gym (weights) work. A few years a go I was "diagnosed" with ME (i.e. I have something wrong with me but the doctor can't work out what). I recently bought In:Fused to try to combat the delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) which I now suffer from. Because of my illness my exercise regime is now far lighter than most people who will be using this site but as far as DOMS goes my experience is probably still relevant. So far this product really does seem to make a difference. I have used it pretty sparingly, usually only once a day on the days that I have exercised, be that a run, a swim, some weights or even just a decent walk, and have noticed a drop off in the soreness I would usually feel. It could be a placebo effect but honestly I don't care, anything that helps ward of DOMS and allows me to keep to my exercise plan without feeling like my arms and legs are going to drop off is a winner for me. I'm very happy wth the results and will certainly be buying this product again. The downside is the taste - I bought Berry Blast and honestly it just tastes like you accidentally drank your shower gel! But I have found that if you top it off with something strong tasting like Lemon Squash and mix it well with ice cold water you can down it without too much effort. I will try the other flavour next time but honestly, even the awful taste is worth it for the positive effect it seems to have. So basically - tastes like soap but does the trick so I'm happy! Goes Well With:Anything strong enough to mask the taste. Lemon squash is good.
I use this product in the morning and during my workouts... I feel it gives me that extra boost in the morning which being a uni student is a godsend.... When using during my workouts i feel i can make that extra push in weights and cardio..also i don't seem to get bad DOMS when using this product....All in all i would suggest this product.
very good value for money, the tropical storm flavour might be a bit too sweet for some, but just add more water. i find it delicious and will order the same flavor again. the mixability is great too, no lumps. i either have this on its own, or mix it with unflavoured whey protein and maltodextrin as a post workout drink. recommended.
My protein supplements are pure vegetarian except some supplements.Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. Great composition of vitamins and aminos . Prefer to take it pre workout . Keeps you energised during your workout . Also less soreness post workout
I drink this daily, tastes just like Robinsons juice (tropical flavour). A great way to get much needed vitamins/ironGoes Well With:Water
Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but I chose the tropical blast and think that it tastes great and as someone has already stated if taken 40 - 45 mins before a workout I really feel like I can get those few extra reps. I also put some in my shake for during my workout with some protien and some extra BCCA and I havnt ached for a while.Goes Well With:Water
Product designed with very good Aim, but unfortunately the taste of berry blast is like medicine which makes it hard to consume, Goes Well With:Water
Not sure what people are on about re the taste - I'm super picky about how things taste, and this is great! Admittedly I mix the amount with about 500ml of water, but I drink a lot of water anyway so I drink it just as quick as I would 300ml. Mixability is great, you don't even need a mixer in your shaker, I just tip it straight into my water bottle and give it a shake for 3 seconds and it's done! Can't comment too much on effectiveness just yet as it's only my first week of using it (and first time for using BCAAs or anything of the sort!)Goes Well With:Water
I have ordered this amino product as I wanted to incorporate a useful drink into my diet what I can sip through the day. Ordered Berry Blast and it tastes very good. It even tastes better than Exceed. The only thing I miss is a complete nutritional value chart. I don't know how many sugars in it. I have no how many calories I am actually taking. Which is essential to fit this product effectively into your daily routine. So everything is good so far but please make an effort and display all these values as I guess not me the only one who misses it. (btw this is not the only product which is lacking this.)
I bought this product to use within others as a maintenance addition to sport/gym workouts and general health. I was looking for a flavored vitamin powder or juice to add to 'Total Greens' plain powder to make a drink/supplement I can have throughout the day between, pre and post training day's. It's an ideal product to boost vegetable, green and fruit smoothies. MP: I would dearly love a fresh citrus flavor, like lemon and lime if your up for a bit of R&D.Goes Well With:Total Greens powder or any greens powder.
Provides a decent kick in the gym, the taste is quite nice, however is a little bit sour, Great results when mixed with creatine and taken just before or during workout, Not the best value for money but most certainly worth it !Goes Well With:Creatine
Gives a good kick start in the gym, best mixing it with creatine for best results!Goes Well With:Creatine and water
Bought this product a couple of weeks ago and I'm very pleased with it. I take it during training at the gym and often add a scoop of creatine in with it, I feel like I have better energy when I have it and it tastes great (berry blast). It helps to get all of the correct nutrients and vitamins i need for the day and overall is a good product. will be buying again when I run out.Goes Well With:Creatine
A really good product, it has everything I need in one hit. I use it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. I actually feel more energised and just all round better. Stopped using for a while and noticed I was more tired. Mixes really easily and no lumps. Ordered berry blast and tastes great. Bizarrely the last two times I ordered berry blast I received the tropical storm flavour....and have to say tasted great too. Goes Well With:Mixes fine with water not tried it with anything else.
First time using in-fused and will probably not order again. Although it's full of essential amino acids and vitamins the knock on effect is that the drink is quite large and you require 2 servings each day. The taste of berry blast is ok but is very sweet down to the sucralose it contains. All in all next time I will stick to a few select unsweetened amino acids to reduce the consumption amounts and sucralose levels.
What can I say? This is my first myprotein product ever and I must say I had high hopes for it. First of all all-in one amino formula with vitamins and minerals i was looking for something like that. First couple of days when i was drinking it everything looked good i really liked it but after a week or less i started to suffer from really nasty diarrhea first i thought it was something in my diet but then again i eat chicken broccoli oats tuna for ages and never had diarrhea. I still am using it trying to persuade myself its not this products fault but then again i just have to stop drink it for more than just couple of days and see how it goes. Let me just say that my problem occurs whenever im drinking in:fused. I read somewhere that some sweeteners can cause problems i have and this product is full of sweeteners. Overall i bet its really good supplement but its just ain't for me. Goes Well With:Water
Tropical Flavour Mixes really well, no problems there Nice tasting, however it intermittently tastes like paracetamol, so I gave it a 3* for flavour. I mix it with flavoured water, just cozGoes Well With:water/flavoured water
This is easy to mix and taste great just wish I brought a bigger bag
I use this pre and intra-workout. I think it helps me focus, and I don't get much DOMS. I have tried and liked both flavours. This batch of berry blast seems less sweet than the last, which is an improvement. It's just like squash and covers the aminos well. Dissolves well in cold water when shaken, but not immediately.Goes Well With:beta alanine pre workout
