PHENOMENAL
5Hydroxy-MethylButyrate, aka, HMB. I came across HMB through conducting extensive research on supplements that promotes muscle repair and improving bone density. As a Martial Arts practitioner, I felt that I needed a supplement that would help reduce muscle soreness and increase my bone density. I have heard both good & bad things about HMB and, understandably, I was a little skeptic. All the more reason to try it. I have been taking HMB for a week now... I can honestly say that it has improved muscle soreness a great deal. On a scale of 1 to 10 - 10 being the best possible result - I would give a score of 10 for the reduction of soreness. I feel like a different person. I am more nimble on my feet. Usually, after an intense training session, my legs would be screaming sore. HMB has made a significant difference in reducing muscle fatigue. I also feel an improvement in my bones and joints. I had read that HMB is given to hospitalized patients after serious operations to aid recovery. I also read HMB accelerates the healing of broken bones. No... I can't say that I have broken any bones, but my overall skeletal system feels enhanced somehow. I had hoped that this would be the case. I am so very pleased; I can't begin to express how much HMB has benefited me as a Martial Arts athlete. It is phenomenal. I can honestly say that HMB has really worked for me. I wish I had discovered it earlier. Better late than never - as the saying goes.Goes Well With:I was expecting HMB to have an undesirable taste. I can't say that it tastes of anything as such. It is very similar to Creatine. I found that it goes very well with breakfast cereal and yogurt. I am going to start taking it with Creatine with a view to increase muscle strength and lower fatigue. The HMB should help reduce muscle loss in a man of my years. Here goes! Here's to a fitter and stronger body!

4Just started using it as a standalone powder. My previous protein shake had HMB listed as an extra; but it became too expensive Now I add it to my vegan protein to make sure I'm getting enough and despite buying two products to mix together, it is still cheaper - thanks MyProtein for reducing my bills!Goes Well With:A top-up to your protein shake

Excellent Product!
5Very useful for when you're in a calorie deficit and want to maintain muscle. Had good results taking a small dose at the end of weights before cardio.

4Goes really well my protein shakes just pop the desired amount in. I have unflavoured as I don’t like to mix and match my drinks. Seems to really help with fatigue and recovery. Goes Well With:Any protein shake.

5This is a great supplement that I'm surprised doesn't get more attention. I've been taking it about 3 months now and I do think it's helped me maintain progress. I throw it all into a half gallon jug and drink throughout the day. The plum flavour also tastes great. It doesn't really taste like plums, but like a summer fruity type flavour. I just wish MP would make some more flavours!Goes Well With:Water. Any other unflavoured supplements.

Does exactly what it says on the tin
5Can't fault if, it's just HMB after all :) Crucial for maintaining muscle and encouraging muscle protein synthesis. It has a lot of scientific backing in peer reviewed papers and published journals and is now being added to dietetic supplement drinks to prevent malnutrition and muscle loss in those who need it which speaks volumes.Goes Well With:Training, an adequate diet

very good but make them smaller!
3absolutely no need for the tablets to be this big when highstreet brands can do similar tablets for 1/3 of the size, please think of the environment myprotein!Goes Well With:killing seacreatures

5The new flavours are really good, compared to what they offered before. I have been taking this for around a year now, and along with creatine, I have seen great results. Goes Well With:Soy milk.
