Amino Acids are complex chemicals that are the building blocks of protein. An Essential Amino Acid cannot be synthesised or created by the body and therefore must be supplied from the diet.
The main essential amino acids required by the body are Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Histidine, Methionine, and Tryptophan. This has 5000mg of Leucine per 15g serving which is higher than the standard whey protein and has zero fat and carbohydrates.
Essential Amino Acids are recommended for anyone looking to increase their daily intake of amino acids.
Please note that the labelling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.
Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 15g, shake and consume immediately. Use twice daily - one serving before and after your workout.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. This product is a food supplement and therefore should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of young children.

Stop marking this (and other) products on the taste and mixability. I mix this in my protein shake and it tastes fine. The effect is excellent, which is the reason I bought it. Well done MYPROTEIN.Goes Well With:Appreciation for it's effectiveness and hard work!
The smell is horrible, which isnt a huge issue. The taste is just so bad... REALLY BAD, its quite bitter and its just repulsive (have to chug it and try not to heave, you cannot leave it in your mouth). I have mixed it with water (Bad Idea), Chocolate whey (Very bad idea) and really strong squash (Also quite bad) Hopefully overtime i will get used to the taste, but for now i will take half dosages twice as frequent as to avoid a strong taste. The mixibility is alright, you just have to use a shaker as it wont mix if stirred. The effectivness of the product however is very good, Strength and Size gains seem to have sped up and recovery has definitely got better. If you have a weak stomach and cannot bring yourself to drink something that tastes like this then i would not reccomend it, its a challenge just getting it down, however if you are prepared to endure this for the VERY good benefits of taking it then i'd say its worth it. Good Luck.Goes Well With:No taste buds
After years of experimenting with different eating patterns I have found that having a huge breakfast gives me energy for most of the day and saving my appetite for a huge dinner guarantees great sleep and psychological ease when cutting/maintaining. Training in the early afternoon left me with a 3 hour gap in which I had no real hunger or appetite for a shake but some light fatigue which wouldn't subside with bcaas. Then I tried these and.. problem solved! Much better recovery, no stupid "missing the anabolic window" insecurities, no gulping down a shake you don't really want to drink. The taste is bad but hey, these are ready building blocks for muscle, no digestion required, I don't care about the taste! Goes Well With:just enough water to drink it all at once. a pinch of salt and a bit of sugar will neutralise some of the taste
i have been using this for a month now, and have noticed less aching the next day and slight gains. i needed something new in my diet as i hit a plateau, so i turned to EAA's. i take this pre workout stacked with MyProtein caffeine powder and it prevents my energy levels dropping during training. highly recommend, but the taste is rancid. hold your nose when drinking it with a little bit of water.Goes Well With:water
I have a strong stomach and can put up with most horrible tastes in the name of gains, but this product is unbearable, smells like cat food and urine, tastes even worse, tried mixing with various flavoured liquids but nothing masked it, do yourself a favour and get the tablets. Very poor mixability as well, so it's even harder to get it down the hatch as it bubbles up and becomes foamy. GET THE TABLETSGoes Well With:With? Nothing. Without? Tastebuds
Taste is horrid, really bad, and it doesn't mix very well either, BUT, once you manage to get it down you, the effect is HUGE. Great recovery during and after workout, even a long heavy one. I am amazed in times how much stamina I have in me.. can't live without it, but wow i wish it did not taste so bad. I found that if I mix it with beetroot juice its more or less drinkable, with anything else its just too overpowering. Goes Well With:Beetroot juice
Awful smell and it makes you wretch. Even when mixed with juice the taste is awful. I regret buying it as I'm more than likely going to bin it.
I am a big fan of MyProtein products but this one truly disappointed. Only unflavoured available so bought it anyway and ignored negative feedbacks because I am quite good with tolerating weird tastes. Upon opening the packet I had a woof of what smelled like chemical. It is really strong, although unflavoured, it is not neutral tasting and does not take on flavour from juices. I only mixed mine with a teaspoon and came up with a horrible frothy product. I've only had a serving so far so cannot comment on the effectiveness. Not sure how I will take the rest of the product because I literally dreaded every next gulp. Very bitter and left a really strong after taste and grainy bits at the bottom 😷 i wish someone would come up with a great idea of how to take this product easier!Goes Well With:Faith and courage
Just took my first dose of this. Hands down. The worst taking supplement I've ever ever had. I can only hope that the benefits from this are worth it but I'll let you guys know. Problem is, I have a whole kilo of this to get through at 15g servings. Wish me luck.Goes Well With:A strong stomach and no sense of taste. Or smell for that matter.
I was looking for something to replace Whey after my training sessions and wanted something that would mix with a greens powder I have. I decide to give MyProtein EAA's a try and I couldn't be happier with it. It's been really effective these last 2 weeks of using it every day and I've found that I have heaps more energy after a really tough workout. It's also helped me cut down total consumed calories too. Would highly recommend and I will be re-purchasing. Goes Well With:Greens Powder
Just tried out the product so can't comment on effect at the moment. The taste is not bad at all. I put it in my protein shake (unflavored) and can't really taste the EAA at all. The mix-ability is good, obviously cant compare with whey but a quick shake will do the trick. Goes Well With:Water, protein shake
If you are over 40 this is a must have product as it will cut your recovery times and lessen the effects of DOMSGoes Well With:Beta Aaline and NAc
Ok the taste of this is disgusting. I'm known for drinking cod liver oil straight from the bottle and having no complaints. The problem is that it is slightly metallic tasting and extremely bitter, the best thing to do is to mix it with some water and orange squash, sugar free and shake it up in a bottle. Leave it for a minute or two and then shake again and consume. Presto! I can't taste the amino Acids anymore and it's great as a PW shake. Goes Well With:Orange squash -sugar free and water
Most people complain about this due to it's taste. The problem is everyone seems to try and mix it with something sweet. What I do is make a kind of soup with it. I'm vegan and use pea protein and EAA, both of which don't taste great or mix well. I mix the protein and EAA with herbs, spices, vegetable gravy granules and yeast extract and pour in some boiling water. This makes a lovely spicy pea soup that tastes great and is jam packed with not only protein but lots of other healthy benefits from the herbs and spices. Goes Well With:Herbs, spices, pea protein, vegetable gravy and yeast extract
I am happy that you stop making this, the taste is awfullllll. Goes Well With:Nothing
My protein supplements are like a dream come true.Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. Absorption and digestions rates, micronutrient content, ability to support growth, repair and maintenance of tissues, and more—all contribute to protein quality and can differ greatly from one source to another. Hi, So ordered the product as a boost to my fitness regime. First impression not great, unsure whether the product was sent out with a tear to packaging or caused by courier cramming it through my letterbox. Product has a very bad taste to it so highly recommend mixing with a strong flavoured cordial. Mixes ok with a protein shaker bottle although does leave a foam on top. Definitely has an effect and does give a boost to workout. This I have noticed in a short timeframe which is pleasing, not a fitness expert but do feel like it is a good addition.Goes Well With:Flavoured mixer, don't recommend just water or milk
Myprotein is a market leader for its quality and value for money. I have never had anything like this before.Myprotein supplements are good after a workout is one of the best time to get protein into the body so that the protein can be delivered to your muscles, to begin healing the micro tears i.e very small tears in the muscle tissue, caused by intense contraction of the muscle during workout in the muscle.Because solid food takes more time to digest and to break down the protein and send it to the muscles, it can be best to take a protein shake immediately following a workout, since protein shakes only take about thirty minutes to reach the muscle after ingestion.we can see the advantage to taking a protein.Whey protein has become a favorite supplement for those seeking to put on muscle and enhance their physiques as well as improve their health. In order to decipher which protein is best for a particular need, typically one would use a specific gauge of some sort to determine which protein to use. and hey dont forget to use my referral code for genuine discounts. Dont be fooled by fake users copying fake images of stamps at the end of their reviews and claiming to be authorised reviewers. there is no such thing as authorised reviewers. they have just copied and posted the same reviews again and again and again, desperateiy wanting to earn referral credits. My protein supplements from which whey, isolate and hydolysate are the best. There are also variations on whey protein based upon different manufacturing processes which are applied to the whey. These are labelled as Isolate (where water is removed along with all lactose and cholesterol leading to a 95% protein concentration) and Hydrolysate (where the whey is partially pre-digested with enzymes to reduce the size of the peptide molecules and to accelerate absorption and amino acid availability). Whey protein hydrolysate is commonly suggested to be the optimal form of whey protein.
