What actually makes reverse weave different?

Most fleece is cut with the grain of the fabric, which means it shrinks vertically over time. Champion cuts across the grain instead, so the hoodie resists shrinkage and holds its shape far longer than standard fleece. It's the reason the construction has been around for 90 years.
