Recovery XS uses a proven ratio of post-workout carbohydrates and protein for superior glycogen synthesis and tissue rebuilding; the two main mechanisms of recovery. The carbohydrate and protein content are provided through Waxy Maize Starch and Impact Whey Isolate®, respectively. Waxy Maize Starch is a rapidly assimilated carbohydrate which acts fast to restore glycogen with minimal stomach upset. Whey Protein Isolate is a rapidly assimilated protein and is also virtually fat and lactose free and is ideal for building lean mass.

In addition, you will find a massive 4.5g of amino acids and 3g of Creapure® per serving. These two ingredients will ensure your muscles are fully loaded with energy in preparation for your next exercise bout.

Recovery XS also contains a working serving of 5.5g of the excellent amino acid Leucine which is vital for creating a mass building environment- to promote growth and has been proven to increase protein synthesis. Suggested Use

Add water, milk or juice until bottle is approximately three quarters full, shake vigorously and consume. Add more liquid for a thinner shake and less for a thicker shake. We recommend 1 serving per day immediately after exercise.

    I honestly thought this would be horrible, mainly because most other protein products are gross......but I was pleasantly suprised, I had the strawberry flavour one and yeah it's got a bit of bite, but i thought it tasted pretty good, drank it real quick, no gritty after taste, not too sickly, it is sweet, but its going to be due the fact its strawberry!! i would definitely recommend to other gym goers!!

    I hope this product does some good as the taste is terrible. I will keep going with it on the baisis that if it tastes so bad it must be good for you !! I guess we drink this stuff for results not taste, but it really is not pleasant.

    Had choc flavour and it's very bitter. If it were available without creatine it would be much better. Have tried competitors products before which don't contain creatine and they taste better. Sorry MP but the taste let you down this time. Overall though it mixes well, has a good consistency to it and some good nutritional values so it's up to you if the Nutrition would outweigh the taste!
