Chlorella is a single cell green algae that grows in fresh water and is recognised as one of the most ancient life forms on earth. Due to its rich concentration of nutrients Chlorella is considered a whole food, supplying all the nutrients required for human life.

Chlorella is particularly high in protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, fibre, nucleic acids (RNA & DNA) amongst many other vital nutrients. The proponents of chlorella claim it can assist a number of health benefits including dietary balance, weight control, blood cleansing, increased body alkalinity, reduced blood pressure and supporting the immune system. The high protein content of Chlorella also stimulates the growth and repair of body tissue.

Suggested Use

Add 150-250ml of water, juice or any other beverage into our shaker. Then add 1 and a half MP small scoops (4g), shake and consume. Consume one to three servings per day.

Chlorella Powder should be gradually introduced to the diet so the body can get used to any detoxification reaction.

    This mixes very well, its so fine it looks like photocopier toner. It does not taste good at all. I drink it in cordial and hold my nose while downing it but it seems worth it due to the documented health benefits.

    Energy should be about 16 kcal for 4 g, not 70 as stated. Chlorella is an excellent source of protein (especially sulfuric amino-acids). It has a pile of positive health effects from detoxifying heavy metals to DNA repair effects (proven, for example, on radiation victims). It also has a wide variety of highly bioavailable B-vitamins, minerals and trace minerals. Dunno if bodybuilders will profit a lot, but it is a hell of a health source for a good MP-price!
