    Overview

    IP6 or Inositol Hexaphosphate, is sometimes known as Phytic Acid, and is regarded as one of the more effective natural products in promoting cellular health throughout the body. IP6 has been shown to aid in the treatment of kidney stones and other related conditions, and has also been talked about as being an effective preventative measure against certain forms of cancer thanks to its ability to slow the absorption of unwanted chemicals in cancer cells.

    IP6 is a natural extract that is found in beans and other foods that are high in fibre such as brown rice and wheat bran. When ingested, it is transformed into a number of related chemicals in the body that are needed by the cells in order to aid in the metabolism of calcium, and to maintain the healthy function of the cells.

    It is a highly effective antioxidant, and as such is useful in the protection of cells from the aging effects caused by damage by Free Radical molecules of oxygen. Because of its protection of cells, it has undergone extensive medical trials related to its ability to prevent many cancers. In a number of cases, the IP6 has been shown to be very effective in preventing cancer developing in animals, and further tests are underway.

    Inositol is also useful for helping the cells metabolise calcium, and thanks to its high levels of phosphates, when combined with a healthy diet including dairy products, it can help to strengthen bone tissue and offset the effects of bone wasting disorders such as osteoporosis.

    Suggested Use

    As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 1g, one or two times daily.

    Add just over half of an MP small scoop (1g) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately. IP6 is an efficient mineral chelator and therefore should be taken only on an empty stomach.
