      It helps to reduce pain and swelling of inflammations. However, it must be taken at least 30min before or 1 hour after a meal. Otherwise it does not work - I've been taking it with my meals as prescribed and there was no noticeable effect. I had a similar product from the pharmacy and remembered it said to take it before a meal to be effective, as otherwise the enzymes would be destroyed by your gastric acid.

      Great product. Taken before or with food improves my digestion, couldnt comment on less or more bloat, since i still get it, mainly because im a dairy lover. but this is great if you want to improve your performance indirectly. Ok, now what i mean is : your foods are digested faster, more effective way, i noticed that fats are absorbed much more efficiently, does miracles when eating meats. get the point? you help yourself to get more food in, and thus u perform better afterward. GET THIS.

      I thought i'd try this after MP stopped selling the NOW Foods Super Enzymes product, expecting a vastly inferior result. Actually, i have been pleasantly suprised. Taken 30 mins before large meals and / or meals containing tough meats, it definately improves my digestion compared to not taking it. It also stimulates my appetite similarly to the Super Enzymes product.\n\nHowever, i still feel it could be vastly improved by adding Betain HCL, Pancreatin, and Bile Acids, similar to the Super Enzymes.\n\nAlso, if MP could sell bromelain by itself it would be great as a potent anti-inflammatory product.\n
