Lucuma is a tropical fruit native to Peru. It grows best in coastal valleys at high altitudes and is rich in Iron, niacin vitamin B3 and calcium.

With its sweet flavour it is a great addition to both smoothies and baked treats!

1. Mango and Lucuma Smoothie

Ingredients

1 Scoop Impact Whey Protein - Vanilla flavour

300g Fat-free yoghurt

250g Frozen mango

5g Lucuma powder

Ice

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend. Serve with extra ice and enjoy!

2. Lucuma & Pineapple Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients

5g Organic Lucuma Powder

20g Organic Chia Seeds

250ml Almond milk

40g Pineapple

Method

1) Add all the ingredients to a mason jar, seal it tightly then shake it until the ingredients are mixed together well.

2) Refrigerate for at least an hour and then serve!

Ingredients

1 Scoop Impact Whey Protein - Salted Caramel flavour

5g Organic Lucuma Powder

200g Bananas

40ml Milk

Method

1) Slice the bananas and place them in a freezer safe bag or container.

2) When frozen, remove and place in a blender with the other ingredients. Blend all the ingredients together and blend until creamy.

3) Place in a freezer safe container and freeze for a further two hours. The mix will set to a more solid texture so you can now use an ice-cream scoop to serve it.

25g Organic Lucuma Powder

10ml FlavDrops - Toffee flavour

90g Peanut Butter

100g Almond flour

Method

1) Heat the peanut butter in the microwave so that it is easier to use. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Form 7 balls from the mixture.

2) Place in a container lined with grease-proof paper and leave to cool for a few hours before serving.
