Yasemin Ourama’s fitness journey began in 2007 when she attended the Finnish Body Fitness Championships and was instantly hooked. She won her first fitness model competition in 2008 and after that she had only one goal in her mind – entering the Finnish Nationals.
It took her three years of intense training to develop enough muscle to compete in the body fitness category. She won her national qualifier and achieved her goal of reaching the Finnish Nationals, placing fourth. In 2012, she went even further and managed to win the overall title. Yasemin then went on to represent Finland in the World Championships, placing 11th.
After concentrating on her business responsibilities through 2013, Yasemin has turned her attentions back to competing since signing with Myprotein in 2014. She plans to compete at the IFBB Nicole Wilkins Fitness Championships, the IFBB Nordic Pro and the World Championships in Montreal, Canada.
