Unflavoured is best

I have tried both the chocolate flavour and the unflavoured versions and my preference is for the unflavoured. I found the chocolate far too sweet and artificial-tasting. If you want to blend it into various types of smoothies, then chocolate doesn't always work with the flavours you're including. Also, the protein content is reduced by the inclusion of cocoa, although not by very much. The unflavoured version works very well if you're blending it into other flavours. On it's own it's a little bitter, but not unbearably so. Overall, a reasonably priced vegan protein powder that mixes quite well and provides a good protein boost to your daily intake.
Goes Well With:
Smoothies, incuding banana, non-dairy milk and any other veg or flavours you want to add.

What did you do?

I wrote mp an email complaining about the change in taste the sweetness overload with sucrolose and the batches dissimilarity. It seems they don't care nor want to listen. A decent non dairy blend is needed and you are almost there but stop changing it every single batch. Use stevia instead please It is harder enough as it is eating non dairy protein please listen to us the end user.
Goes Well With:
I have it with avacado banana almond mild unsweetened and three but butter, throw in some blueberries for good measure

Give it a try but be ready to experiment!

I am a recent convert to this vegan blend, after many bad experiences. I've used soy protein for the good part of the last 6 years. Along the way I've also tried pea and hemp and once a horrible vegan blend that put me off the whole idea of any vegan protein that wasn't soy. So let's get to it: Will this protein create a silky smooth drink? No. Plant-based proteins differ to whey in the sense that they're not extracted from a liquid, so they won't fully dissolve back into a liquid. All vegan proteins have a degree of graininess (if you want to try smoothing it out a little, try adding the tiniest amount of xantham gum to your shakes - but be cautious, more than a tiny pinch can overdo it and make your grainy drink too smooth and slime-like. And no one wants to drink snot). Secondly, differences to soy protein: the main thing I noticed is that soy makes things 'gluggy' and thick. If you're making proats, the vegan blend requires less liquid. Equally, if you're switching between the two, you may need to adjust the amount of liquid in your shake to reach the kind of consistency you prefer. Don't treat them as equally interchangeable. Experiment. What I like with the vegan blend is that almost no matter how much powder I add, it blends without changing the thickness of the drink or porridge. Vegan blend also mixes in liquid far more easily, but is more grainy. With soy I had to use a blender to get it to mix, but with vegan I can throw it into any bottle, close the lid, shake and it's all blended. Great if you're on the go and want to add to a juice etc. You won't get rid of the grainy texture though. And as for the taste... again, experiment. I find the unflavoured pretty vile, but with 15 drops of banana flavdrops I find it delicious! Actually more pleasant to drink than soy (never thought I'd say that)! And the 'chocolate smooth' has a slightly artificial taste, but again, drinkable. This isn't gourmet food. It's a protein supplement, but with a bit of effort you'll be able to find a combo that works for you and your dietary and lifestyle needs. The only improvement I'd love to see is a vanilla flavoured option.
Goes Well With:
Water, almond milk, oats, flavdrops, etc

Subtle Taste, Thick Texture

As a vegan, this was the ideal product for me. Before, I had the whey isolate protein and I found the taste to be quite chemical and not very nice. However, this protein has a much more subtle, natural taste. I got the unflavoured version but added flavour drops (the banana ones) and it tastes pretty good. The texture is a bit odd but I really like it. It's kind of grainy, but reminds me of oat milk. The shakes are quite thick - I tend to use about 300-350ml of almond milk with 1 scoop. I can understand some people not liking the texture, but I think that's personal preference.

Great For people looking to remove Dairy/ Whey

Although I have no tolerance problems with dairy. I wanted to remove it from my diet and see what difference and effect there was. In order to do this I had to remove Whey from my diet. This was the hardest hurdle to overcome due to the reliability of Whey protein in my shakes and bars etc. I bought the Vegan Blend powder to try as it was a mixture of three different types of protein powders and offered more benefits than just one variety. I buy / use the chocolate flavor and so i am unable to comment on the unflavored version. The powder mixes just like any other whey protein powder but the texture and taste is different as expected. The taste has a more earthy feel to it and I can imagine to some to be quite bitter. The chocolate flavoring does a good job of masking this bitterness. The texture is slightly more 'grainier' than whey powder but I don't mind it and it isn't noticeable if you make your shake with more liquid. In my opinion I have noticed more energy in my training and daily activities but without hard evidence to prove it, I cannot say everyone will experience the same benefits I have felt. As for vegans athletes / gym goers, this is a great substitute for whey and personally I think you are better off with this blend instead of whey. Although this is slightly pricier than impact whey and has a lower protein content per 100g (If my memory serves me right) I have used this for a few months and will continue to do so in the near and far future. I also use this for baking my own dairy free protein bars/ flapjacks.
Goes Well With:
Oats

Nasty taste

Tastes like feet when mixed just with water. I don't expect to enjoy my supplements so I am usually not really bothered about taste; but this protein caused me nausea. I find that mixing it with something sweet helps to take it down.
Goes Well With:
Maple syrup or honey

Vegan Blend

I have struggled to find a protein supplement that was non diary and easily digestible. I suffer from Crohn's disease, diary allergy, can't eat red meat and most vegetables so needed to increase my intake of protein and greens. This ticks every box! Would recommend to any IBD sufferers looking for a good supplement.
Goes Well With:
Alpro almond milk Peanut butter Coconut ice cream Honey

Unpleasant to say the least

I have no idea of the effectiveness as I cannot stomach this! I've tried mixing it with oats, flavour drops, fruit and still have an overwhelming taste of the powder which doesnt mix very well! Would not recommend!

Good for vegans!

I have recently decided to cut out all animal products.  But as I lift way so I was conscious of my protein intake. I usually have this with hazelnut/oat/almond milk, extra cacoa and peanut butter powder and a banana and it’s creamy and yummy. With just liquid it tended to be a bit gritty. With the added extras it’s much nicer.  I hit my daily protein intake by having 1-2 alongside a plant based diet
Goes Well With:
Almond milk, hazelnut milk, coconut milk, banana, raw cacao peanut butter powder

Awful taste!

Really disappointed with this powder. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. It mixes ok but the taste is dreadful. Can see why its so cheap. I thought maybe mixing with some other powder or coconut milk might help the flavour but no. Its dreadful. Waste of money as I'm throwing mine out.
