Tastes like you'd expect, mixes ok. But the most difficult thing about this product is that no information is given about how much of each 'green' is in the product, so it's hard to know how the nutrients are distributed. There's also no information about how this compares to eating raw vegetables or 'five a day'. So it's hard to judge 1) what's in the product and 2) why it should be taken alongside eating veggies.Goes Well With:vegetables
I, like gym rats everywhere don't have time to chomp through a truck load of greens every day to benefit from the measly 1g of actual nutrients it provides. Enter "Total Nutri Greens". From the moment that (hmmm) muddy looking pond water touched my lips I knew I’d found my salvation! No more chomping on grass for me ever! I immediately felt its superhero nutritional effects, from being able to bench an extra 200lbs in 1 week to having superb night vision, now i catch mice for my cat in the dark, she is so jealous. So in summary mixes well, looks like raw sewage, tastes like dried sprouts and you feel better after about a week’s use. Top Tip: Mix with flavoured protein (trust me on this one).
Good product but no way of knowing how much is in it and how many portions of vegetables it is equivalent to. This is really annoying. No detailed nutritional information means I can't tell what vitamins and minerals are in it and how much more vegetables I need to have in the day. So could be entirely pointless.Goes Well With:Trust
I have previously tried the unflavoured version of total nutri-greens and I absolutely hated it. It was a struggle to drink because of it's vegetable-like taste and powdery texture. But I was determined to continue because there are just too many benefits I'd be missing out on. I decided to try the tropical flavour and I wasn't expecting much - it smelt slightly better than the unflavoured version which was a good start. Three scoops with water in my shaker and it mixed extremely well. Reluctantly took my first sip - wow! I don't know how they've done it, but this tastes absolutely great. I mean, there's absolutely NO lingering vegetable taste and the powdery texture seems to have vanished. I'd go as far as to say it's really refreshing and something I'd actually just drink normally. I now look forward to my morning green drink!
I bought this product with the aim of increasing my intake of some of the nutrients you get from vegetables, and I'm incredibly pleased I did! The tropical taste is lovely, it mixes really well on its own or with other products (protein etc.), and I've noticed a decrease in fatigue, my mental awareness has improved. It's usually hard to tell if a product is working, but within 1.5 weeks I'm definitely noticing that I have more energy. Great product, am definitely going to buy again!Goes Well With:Water. Any other shakes.
be careful, there is gluten inside, sulphites, soy and 27% is filler soya lecithine
It does exactly as required I work shifts so stopping for the amount of required fruit and veg is hard work . This stops that need really, mixes quickly and tastes alright with water. In honesty I don't care about taste nutrients are nutrients.Goes Well With:Anything but have mixed my creatine with it
I purchased this product a couple of months ago as I am someone who doesn't get anywhere near enough fruit and veg daily. Looked this up and thought "Perfect! A convenient way to consume fruit and veg in a drinkable form and it'll be relatively easy." That being said, I have yet to fully appreciate the benefits of this. Primary reason being the taste is not of this Earth. It is incredibly difficult to get past even if you try your best to chug it down as quickly as possible. That is probably down to my naivety of the blend of the various fruits and veg and expected some sort of heavenly taste so I applaud those who can down this with ease. Again, I have only truly tried this less than a handful of times so ratings giving are based off of early experiences. Expect to see updated review.
Smelling like a neglected fish tank, I wasn't really sure that I wanted to drink this, after mixing it in- but I was really pleasantly suprised, it has a kind of a "sea" flavor, that's similar to the taste of sea vegetables, nori, kombu, wakame and the like. However, it's too plain to drink by itself. Tried it with a bit of salt, not the best, but better. I won't really be drinking it like that, anyways- It'll be an addition to my morning shake. It seems pretty good for that.
Total Nutri-Greens powder is perfect to add to protein shakes when you want more nutrients and fibre in your low calorie diet. I use this twice a day. Keeps things "moving" and I feel confident I am getting what I need compared to protein powder alone. Turns everythjng dark green but combines well with latte and strawberry flavours of shake so the taste doesn't bug me. If you are sensitive to flavours you might be better with tablets...
Before buying this, I'd been taking wheatgrass shots. so I was expecting a potent flavour. I was not disappointed. I try to take this at least once a day to supplement the vegetables I eat. For ease, I mix it with a fizzy vitamin C tablet, the Superfood XS and the powdered BCAA, put it in a small shaker, shake the living daylights out of it then chug it down as quick as possible. Since I've started taking this wondrous concoction, I've noticed an increase in energy levels. I've just put in an order for my second pouch.Goes Well With:Superfood XS, vitamin C fizzy tabs, water
Can't comment on the effectiveness too much yet, but always good to get as many greens in as possible! For those who don't like taste mix with Pineapple Juice, and that overpowers the taste! Goes Well With:Pineapple Juice
First of all, PLEASE can people stop moaning about the taste, honestly, what did you all expect from a greens mix? Michelin star taste? Yes it tastes awful, but mix it with some sugar-free squash and it's absolutely fine. For effectiveness I'm unsure about the full benefits. The best benefit by far is it keeps things moving in the bowel area, it really does clean you out but in a good way. i've been taking it for a month and do feel more energised and overall healthier, but am not fully sold on the product yet. Goes Well With:Any diet
Tastes good, smells bad. Great fox extra greens when they are lacking in your diet.
I bought this recently to give it a whirl. I got the fruit punch flavour and I've got to say that it tastes really nice, much better than I expected. I got the 100g packet and it is a bit of a faff getting the powder out but I only got that size to try it out and I will get a bigger one next time. Mixability is fine, works better in a shaker to really absorb it but I've been also putting it in a glass of water at breakfast with a really good stir. I can't really say that I feel any more energetic but I feel more reassured that I'm getting more greens into my diet. Good product, will buy again.Goes Well With:Water
Taste is nice - I got tropical and it's more than nice enough just to drink instead of squash. Slightly frothy texture but settles down to a nice drink. As most reviews, it's hard to see or feel a difference but good to know it tops up my nutrient intake.
I used the flavoured Nutri-Greens before and i liked it, so wanted to get the same one. Ended up getting the unflavoured version because that was the only one that was in stock. This works well with any juice, mixes well and helps me get my daily portion of green vitamins, especially on some days when I am out and about. It doesn't taste bad even when mixed in pure water, but goes better with juice.
For those who are on the move all day every day dont have time to stand around cooking these are great for your daily intake! Instant bundle of energy, makes you feel clean and healthy. Had them for nearly 2 weeks and will never use anything else!Goes Well With:water
I usually miss out veg on a lot of meals due to having to cook it to perfection (to avoid damaging the goodness). I have this with my breakfast and evening meal. started noticing a difference in the mornings from the first day I took it. Remaining in my stack for sure!Goes Well With:Alpha Man, Omega 3
I don't know the full effects of this product yet as I have only just received it, but it blends really well with my protein shake and I can hardly taste it, it makes the shake go a lovely appetising green colour but if it makes me feel healthier I don't mind, I went for the unflavoured version as Im mixing it with shakes and it was cheaper too. Goes Well With:Protein shake
Was sceptical at first but seems like a good product, tastes good and it mixes up well! I mix it up with all my other powders and just drink it down tastes like a tropical juice just don't let the colour put you offGoes Well With:All powders
This tastes kinda funky at first but you kinda get used to it. I just had my regular shake without this in (as I'm waiting for delivery) and kinda missed it in there. But even still, the taste is never that bad (IT DEFINITELY DOES NOT TASTE LIKE SPIRULINA) It makes anything you put it in go a lovely green/brown colour so be prepared. I have this thing every morning because, why not? 3 scoops of this mixed in to something instead of spending half an hour chopping and sautee-ing greens is a no-brainer. And if you don't already have any greens with breakfast anyway then why not? (didn't mean that to sound as preachy as it does)Goes Well With:Whatever you want really, just be prepared to have an adjustment period for the taste.
Love it, tastes good, has an amazing ingredients list. I drink it along with apple fibre, Mg, Vitamin C and MSM powder. Always get a huge energy surge afterwards. Would recommend to everyoneGoes Well With:apple fibre, vitamin powders.
Good mix, great addition to my diet. Strong flavour, but mixes well and works a charm.
I started mixing this with the chocolate low calorie meal replacement. It mixes in well as I use a blender but unfortunately the brown chocolate flavour and green of the nutrigreen produces a grey 'cement' looking drink. As it's flavourless the drink still tastes of chocolate, it just doesn't look very appealing. Also there is no nutritional info on the package so I don't know how much benefit I get from taking it.Goes Well With:Just about anything
I really like the nutri greens. I mix it with the double chocolate diet protein shake and it tastes lovely. Very impressed.
Mix well with water. Took one scoop every morning. Delicious and feel energized throughtout the day.Goes Well With:Water
ruined by the high level of sweetener. I needed this as a supplement to my meals not as a sweet drink. I do not enjoy the sweet taste at all and for that reason I use it rarely only when I need a drink. That should have been made more explicit on the packaging for example under the title to say 'with sweetener'. They've also put so much of it, just 1 small scoop tastes incredibly sweet. Apart from that, it does give a lot of energy after use and it is a highly effective energy booster and it makes a quick fuss-free drink if mixed with cold water. I just take 1 scoop in a glass, it is highly concentrated so it takes you a long way. If it didn't have the sweetener I would have rated it 5. Goes Well With:water and protein
this is great if you are looking to squeeze more nutrients into your diet. does not taste good at all though (in saying that iv only mixed it with water)Goes Well With:yoghurt?
Very important to eat lots of greens to balance bacteria in the gut. Usually I make smoothies of raw vegetables, but it's not always possible when I'm travelling for work. These are great for when I'm on the road!Goes Well With:Impact whey protein, or just water.
Great stuff, I seriously cannot do without them they are the best way I know to get greens in the daily diet when busy and away from home, I recommend them to anyone who needs more greens in their diet - a word of warning though they definately need some flavouring as without they aren't very nice tasting.Goes Well With:Flavouring, protein powders, carbs and everything edible/drinkable that needs some greens.
I originally thought these were capsules hence why I ordered! The powder is green and doesn't taste like other tropical products I have from MP. Haven't used it long enough to notice any difference but won't be ordering again Goes Well With:Water and ice
before I bought the tropical flavour i read that it was way too sweet. I didn't believe that it could be too sweet but it definitely is. I also have a lot of experience with the taste of green products from working in a health shop for 3+ years. I'm a big fan of Vital Greens which is also a tropical flavour but not really sweet, downside is the price tag. I'm sure that the unflavoured version of this is bearable so will try that one in future. Good things is it's got great ingredients and mixes very well with water. Goes Well With:Water
Good as always, I use these daily and have done for some time now, I wouldn't be without them, they are convenient for shakes, pancakes or bars, they make sure I always get something green with every protein break, (almost,) that I have! I shall buy them again and recommend them to anyone who needs extra greens with there days intake!Goes Well With:Anything you like, plus a little sweetener/flavouring! (sucrose toffee drops are great to add to them in pancakes, shakes or bars!)
Having tried spirulina and wheatgrass previously and absolutely loathed the taste, this product taste really good.Goes Well With:Yoghurt
Fast delivery, taste is better than expected. Good sup for a busy day. Goes Well With:Mixed in shake or in water
Straight off the bat this powder smells and tastes really bad. Right now that out the way I can begin on the positives, I'm a nog fan of this product simply for the fact I font really get my greens and much as I'd like, this product offers that. It's easy to gain, I simply add 7 grams into my protein shake and I'm away. I seem to have alot more energy since I've been on this product aswell. Overall great with a bad taste.Goes Well With:Protein
Always good, I always buy these, I eat them everyday, I highly recommend them they are very good. Prefect for when you haven't much time and need some greens in you diet, mix the in shakes, pancakes, bars pastes with anything you can imagine!Goes Well With:Everything or anything you wish. (all other supplement products!)
I've been taking this since being recommended by a friend recently. As a shift worker I don't get the opportunity to eat properly all of the time so I've been using Total Nutri Greens on work days when I eat limited amounts of vegetables in my diet and so far I feel better for it. The taste when mixed with water is pretty awful but I've found that mixing with a small amount of orange juice takes the taste away, it just looks a bit unappealing!Goes Well With:Orange Juice, Protein Smoothie
I bought this as a comparison to bioglan. And its better and so is the price. Thanks. Goes Well With:In shakes mixed with almond butter. Protein. Blueberries. Cacao. Coconut
For a person who's spent 23 years avoiding veg - I was 3 when the mental strain told me NO! This stuff does the job I feel a lot more bothered and active mainly because Im going to the gym and taking these with my other supplements which have really helped. Mixes well with my Creatine which is unflavored so I took the tropical one - tastes like the juice you get from a coffee machine. Powdered - messy to set up - thanks pound-land for the cheap as chips containers which are seal-able! Please note I have started taking these with a balanced diet - As I changed my lifehabits and cook everyday at home, I now eat veg! Products also used: Impact Whey, Creatine Mono, Thermopure, CLA, T5 Weight Loss, Cod Liver OilGoes Well With:Creatine Products
I was a bit dubious about how this powder would taste after a sniff at it - it smelled somewhat like mown grass. I haven't tasted it just on it's own but added the reccommended amount of 1 and 1/2 teaspoons to my ususal morning smoothie of almond milk, whey protein and berries. To my surprisec it didn't change the taste of my smoothie at all. Eating greens has never been so easy.
Excellent product which really helps aid in getting your daily veg in especially if you are a busy person like myself!Goes Well With:Water and other protein blends
Lots of massive sweetener Lumsden was discovered unfurnished.
This was my first time trying a greens drink so I was expecting a really bad taste. However this product is fine , smells a wee bit bad at first but not hard to drink an mixes really easily in shaker bottle. Very happy with my purchase only been using it a week but skins alot better and energy levels are good , would defo recommend this to a friend. If ur stuck for a greens to start with give it a goGoes Well With:Amino acid drinks , I mix mine with extreme anti catabolic powder , tastes fine :)
This is a great product, packed with vitamins and minerals what's not to like…? I've got to say, it doesn't go down well. I got the tropical flavour and I have no doubt it's better than the unflavoured version but it still leaves a gag worthy 'green' aftertaste. LEMONS have been my saviour. Squeeze half a lemon in and that 'green' taste has all but disappeared! No more nose holding or gagging! 😀Goes Well With:LEMON JUICE!!!!! And water (obvs)
My sons recommend that I use this product as part of a weight loss programme. When I first mixed the drink and saw the colour I was filled with foreboding. However once I drank it, the taste was pleasant enough and it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. I will be using all of the amount I have purchased and will re-order more when the time comes, I cannot say better than that
Mixed really well, and does what is required. I feel a lot better in myself having used this, but who knows if it really does make a difference. I put the unflavoured version in a shake with oats and protein, and it's bearable. If you need it to taste good, try the flavoured version (although I have not tried). Greens are greens, I guess the better it tastes, the more diluted it will be with flavouring!Goes Well With:Chocolate Peanut Whey & Instant Oats
Tropical flavour is really nice. Tasty way of getting the greens!
