"Stop moaning about the taste just add it with something. I put it with whey protien, oats, peanut butter and two tea spoons of this or put it in a cup of soup good way to get your daily veg!!!!1"
"Totally agree with Michael here, BCAA powder makes this taste like the cream on top of the worlds nicest cake! Stop whining, get it down you! Its for gains and well being, who cares what it tastes like! After taking BCAA, Caffeine and drinking unflavoured whey for a lifetime the is a breath of fresh air haha!"
"I really like it, takes the sickly sweetness away that you get with whey protein shakes and helps you meet your veggie needs. My brekkie is 100grams instant oats, 50grams whey protein, 5g creatine, 8grams of this gear and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter in a blender then wallop.....sets me up for the day big time!!!!"
"there is absolutely nothing wrong with the taste of this, has anyone writing these reviews ever tried BCAA powder, that is quite bad! this literally just tastes like liquid vegetables, dont be put off by these poor reviews!"
"It tastes like a peppery soup- though, my preferred delivery agent is hot water- served as a tea. Quite delicious, in that sense. So much fuss about the taste when it vanishes in two gulps. I may even mix some coffee granules in and have it as a coffee/soup hybrid. There are energy gains to be had- but I couldn't tell you why, or how. The process isn't obvious to me- it's only veg after all. But perhaps, synergistically, something magical happens. Highly recommended."
"This product tastes absolutely fine. Its just like a weak vegetable soup, think for instance what a egetable stock powder/cube would taste like if you used lots of water to dilute it. Of course the main reason for the lack of taste is not the amount of water you use, but that this product does not contain salt or yeast to enhance the flavour as the other 'stocks' do. The main taste comes from the onions. I mixed the product with Soya Milk instead of water and it tasted just fine and was infact quite savoury. I am concerned about this counting as one of your five a day as there is no mention of the amount of fibre this product contains and nothing can replace that from your diet. Its a blessing that you mix this product with liquids too instead of in capsule form as we get a lot of water from our '5 a day' as well and need this to bulk up our stool. I would like it if this product contained some of the greens that we need, I have used 'green powder' from other companies and this did taste foul and kind of like ozone and seaweed due to the iodine content. This product certainly does not taste as bad as this. As for the overall score, I give it a 3 as it is so expensive and you only get 250g and to be honest while I like to believe it is effective, I have no evidence to support that. "
"Thought I'd give this a go as I'm a bit lazy preparing veggies, I'm sure this is does you a lot of good, however the taste is rank. I'm someone who can handle most poor tasting suuplements but this is pretty foul, I don't think I'll order again."
"great product. The taste is not so bad, similar to a weak vegetable soup. If you need to mask the flavour then try mixing it with your protein powder and some unflavoured Greek yogurt. Of course if you can eat a mars bar then your taste is too geared towards sweet childish food and everything will taste foul. Overall it would be nice to have different vegetable mixes so we don't consume the same thing all the time. I tend to alternate superveg with some of the green powders. Still it's a good product."
"are you people seriously crying about the taste ? i mean seriously? im not a big tough guy, but i mix it in a half drunk evian bottle, and gulp it down, its not that bad AT ALL, it literally tastes like weak soup, big deal.\n\nits impossible to tell if it works, but i had to give it 5 stars because its a great idea and it annoys me people crying about taste.\n\nPS. myprotein - does this have the same fibre as actual veg ? thanks."
"This review is beign written on behalf of my boss at work, who is on the move from 7.30am in the morning to 8pm at night, and doesnt get a chance to eat properly. I bought him a batch of this and he loves it. He says it really makes him feel good. He says mixed in a bit of orange juice it tastes absolutely fine, and he's now trying it in tomato juice and beetroot juice to cut the carbs and it still taste ok.\n\nFor those whinging about the taste - what the hell was you expecting?!? Its pure powdered vegetable extract for chrissake!! Its bloody obvious its not going to taste nice by itself, and anyone thinking it was going to taste like cotton candy is damn idiot.\n\nI had to add this last bit in because all of the negative reviews were purely about the taste and NOT the effectiveness of the supplement, and ii really dont want people to be put off buying this because its great stuff."
"I am an avid fan of MyProtein, but this product is simply awful and needs sorting out. I can stomach most bad tastes, but this taste is simply horrendous and isn't even covered by a double flavouring of MP's Berry Blast which is supposed to cover CEE. It stains everything it touches, gives you bad breath, is clumpy and doesn't mix well. I'm sure it's very good for me but I can only stomach one serving a day and I doubt I'm going to be able to finish the sachet. I note other negative reviews below."
"This product sticks to pretty much anything that touches it. Take a spoonful (a dry spoon) and pour it into whatever you are adding the product too, soup for instance or even a glass of warm water and you will find it instantly clumps and sticks, most of it to the spoon. Very disappointed."
"Delivered today, opened the sachet, mixed with water...my god it looks like blood! The smell is rancid, the taste is just awful. This may be good for you, but will leave you with breath from hell. Sorry MP, I normally swear by your products..."
Tastes like beetroot. Good product at a decent price but I think im gonna struggle to drink a few of these a day.\nOther 'Greens' products have tasted much better than this.
"I thought that I'd give this a go because I have been too busy of late packing away the macro nutrients that I havn't given much thought to how many micro nutrients that I am consuming. I thought this was an ideal product as I am used to eating anything if it will help me reach my goals. I just received this and some superfood XS, and out of the two this tastes the worst. I would describe it as cold, watery, vegetable gravey stock. However, I think this to be a good thing as I'm hoping that something with that much veg in there should taste this rough. I'm hoping that it should be very healthy and let me be lazy if I can't always eat my real, unpowdered, greens if I don't get round to cooking them. Don't get me wrong this stuff is drinkable, but it isn't nice and I'm used to saying "ppphhfff" to all the usual reviews of things that state things don't taste that great, they are usually fine.\n\nThis is only the first hit that I've had and I will review again when I'm finished the bag to hopefully enlighten all of it's benefits. Watch this space 'dust dinner' eaters."
