Bought for the 3rd time. Love it with chorella. Mix with water. Great for keeping you regular. Very filling. Love the taste. Very good for you!
First time ordering Spirulina online, tastes horrible but there is a way - take 6g of this stuff add a fresh squeesed quarter lemon juice, 8 raspberry flav-drops add 350mll cold water and mix it in myprotein shaker bottle. It becomes drinkable - cheers!Goes Well With:fresh squeesed lemon juice, raspberry flav-drops and cold water
Bought this same time as Chlorella . I thought I would find if easy to drink as I love spinach, seaweed and all things green . However the smell of this makes me feel sick and on my second attempt at drinking it I was sick ! If you are interested in this product maybe try the Chlorella first . The Chlorella is less funky smelling and easier to stomach . I will have another go at this as appreciate it is great stuff . Hopefully it will get easier to drink with repetition . Time will tell . Goes Well With:Chlorella
I've used spirulina for years, this is good, love the taste but that's me, some can't stomach, stay with it you will soon not be able to wait until your next drink. I mix with chorella, I have it really strong, but please be aware, don't know why but I have found this one to stain my teeth, just had all top teeth veneered and can really see difference so bleach bottoms more regular, now drinking through straw and this seems to work, would suggest you do this, otherwise would buy again, it does say organic on the web site but not on packaging! I just love the benefits of spirulina, I do believe it has changed my life, I would never be without it, I am more energized and healthly, hope this helps all out there.
Green is good and this is the best source of green I've found along with the chlorella powder. So good many if my friends are now ordering it. Benefits include more energy and simply feeling healthier.Goes Well With:Nutrigreens and vegan protein blend
"Very difficult to get to mix well as it sticks to the side of shaker and a pain to clean. I’ve been putting a few scoops in a wine glass, add small amount of water and mixed with a spoon then down it! It’s very lumpy doing it like this but leaves less waste. I don't mind the taste to be honest, it’s just a bit different and takes getting used to, quite like it now. Have mixed it into smoothies and mixed with various pasta dishes which seems to work. Great product!"
"Very good product , however a quick google search will reveal that this is £10 more than most suppliers, come on MP i love you but dont take the P***"
The taste is not that bad after all. If you mix it with a juice you will barely taste spirulina. Goes Well With:Any sort of juice
This appears to be a well researched supplement with numerous benefits, i got it in hopes it would reduce hay fever allergies as that time of year will be here soon, its too early to tell if its effective but at least the research is there so hopefully it will workout. That said the smell and taste are horrible to say the least. It sticks to your fingers and hands like mud and does not mix well at all. Not only that but its very difficult to mask the taste and smell with other stuff. So far the best thing I’ve found to cover the state is a ton of flavoured whey and 5g of pure cocoa powder (unsweetened).Goes Well With:Impact whey and Cocoa powder.
Just like the spirulina powder this is excellent, but it seems to be a little more vibrant and packed with goodness. It took one of my friends a few weeks to get used to it but they now live it and like myself feel more energetic and alert when supplementing with it. Goes Well With:Nutrigreens and vegan protein blend.
Yuck. Although very good for you. Try mixing with vegetable or tomato juice it becomes easy to drink, Ive tried loads of other ways to use it but vegetable juice I find the best. Hope this is helpful.Goes Well With:Vegetable or tomato juice
This is used as protein drink, it tastes yuk, but does the job, yet to find anything to mask the taste.Goes Well With:fitness .
Spirulina is good quality and has a nice taste.Goes Well With:wheatgrass powder in water.
I've had no problems with Spirulina.Goes Well With:water
"Its possibly the hardest thing to mix and drink Ive tried, I wouldnt say it tastes bad just odd. I tried making a 'pate' of it by mixing 1ts with 1sp mayonnaise and a few drops of lemon, then spreading it on a cracker, that seemed ok."
tastes as it should - and its disgusting. good quality
"Great stuff, sorted out my digestion issues and gives me a great protein boost in the morning. I mix with it orange or apple juice and it tastes great, although it still look very unappetising..."
Looks (and tastes like) green powder paint. Tried it with water and juice TNA yuck! But however if you put in your shake with milk it takes of the tang and transforms it into the cone of an ice cream. No joke mixed together its like an ice cream with the wafer cone. Yummy ;-)
"I'm glad to see MP has introduced spirulina, as trying to get it shipped from abroad is an absolute pain in the neck, and cost a fortune, too. MP impressing once agian. Will order some once I get payed."
I can't understand the comments on mixability, if you pop a couple of scoops of Spirulina into a shaker it mixes very well. The taste isn't great so I bought the vanilla flavdrops and they cover it brilliantly.Goes Well With:Vanilla Flavdrops
