Perfect size for your protein to be stored in.
- (17 / Jan / 2014)
This container is a good quality product, i ordered the 6000 ml and this size is ideal for the 1.8kg bedtime extreme i would say this size would hold up to 2kg of most whey powders thanks my protein for a great productGoes Well With:any powder supplement
- (09 / Jan / 2014)
Bought 2x 6000ml and 1x 500ml tub - the 6000ml exactly fits 2.5kg of impact whey and is only around half full with 2.5kg of maltodextrin. The 500ml will fit 500g of creatine mono with a lot of pressing it down! Much easier than using bags IMO, and easier to transport without worrying that the tops will come off.
It's a tub

Not really in need of a review but this 4L tub is fit for purpose, quite easily takes a 1kg bag of whey protein and has a hole big enough to put even my shovel hands in!
Not really sure about the mixability and taste though lol...Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
does what it says on the tin

Such a basic product, it functions as described.. as i expected!
- (17 / Dec / 2013)
It's a nice tub to keep it dry and fresh.
- (12 / Dec / 2013)
This Tub fits my 1 kilo mixture x 2 bags, allows me to mix the two powders together with ease.. about 2/3 full.. without getting mess everywhere which I was with the tub below it.. maybe due to this tub is wider to allow you to stir the mixtures together.Goes Well With:will hold I guess about 4/5 kilo of power
- (06 / Dec / 2013)
Wow thanks MP for this powder receptacle. I used to find training difficult while trying to hold on to handfuls of creatine and the like. Now with this handy container I have both hands free to lift weights and my powders are safe and sound.
Joking aside. Good quality tubs at sensible price. Nice. Goes Well With:Things that belong in a tub
- (31 / Oct / 2013)
Very handy to buy tubs seperately reflects the price of the powders
- (28 / Oct / 2013)
Decent storage container, however because of its rounded shape I found it slightly harder to get a full scoop of protein into my scoop as I couldn't pat it down against the sides. Other than that, excellent value for money
- (24 / Oct / 2013)
Really useful and keep my supplements tidy. The 4000ml holds around a litre of protein.. I use the 500ml for tablets/pills and the 1250 for favourings. The tubs are strong and easy to clean. Great buy.
- (21 / Oct / 2013)
These Screw Top Tubs are great for storing all your powders instead of the pouches it comes in.
- (15 / Oct / 2013)
This is an excellent tub. Perfect for putting a few days worth of protein shake in if you are going away and still want to keep up your protein intake. Thanks again myprotein, you never let me down. Goes Well With:Tablets, supplements, protein mix
Screw Top Tub
- (14 / Oct / 2013)
The Screw Top Tub is very good value and a much better way to store protein than in the standard packet that it is packaged in.
Great for storage
- (07 / Oct / 2013)
I bought these to store my powders. They're easy to store and you can top them up as much as you like.
Does exactly what it says on the tub
- (25 / Sep / 2013)
I bought 2 of the 4000ml tubs, one of which holds 1kg of protein powder perfectly, and the other holds 1kg of rolled oats. They make it easier and tidier to access protein and oats than the awkward bags they came in.
I also got a 1250ml tub to hold a protein / oat / cocoa mixture for quick breakfasts.
They're basic solid, sturdy tubs and they do exactly what they're supposed to. Goes Well With:Protein, Oats, Powders
- (25 / Sep / 2013)
Wanted a nice tub, this is perfect.
Well made and doesn't have a cheap feel to it at all.
The 6000ml perfectly fits 2.5KG of Whey Protein - Chocolate to the top.Goes Well With:2.5KG Whey
- (09 / Sep / 2013)
Really useful for storing things like Whey protein and creatine. The screw top lid keeps moisture out and the plastic is food grade so there's nothing to complain about.Goes Well With:Powder Supplements
Great product for storage needs

Bought the 10000ml Screw Top Tub and I am very impressed by it. For people wondering, this tub is approximately 23cm wide and 30.5cm tall. It's a perfect size for storing quite large amounts of protein/instant oats/other supplements you would use a large scoop for in the bottom of your cupboard or elsewhere. It's probably too big to cart with you to the gym, work, etc. I am using it to store a mix of Impact Whey Isolate (unflavoured) and Instant Oats (unflavoured) so that it is easy for me to prepare a serving of the two before taking it to the gym rather than measuring out from separate packs. I am able to store 1000g of Impact Whey Isolate (40 servings) with 4000g of Instant Oats (40 servings), at a total weight of 5000g with a bit of room left at the top.
For people asking 'how much protein will this tub store: 25g of Impact Whey Isolate is 70ml (one MP large scoop). Therefore the 500ml tub will hold 179g. The 1250ml tub will hold 446g. The 4000ml tub will hold 1429g. The 6000ml tub will hold 2143g. And this 10000ml tub will hold 3571g. THESE FIGURES ARE ALL APPROXIMATE, ONLY APPLY TO IMPACT WHEY ISOLATE AND I RECOMMEND YOU ROUND DOWN IF USING THEM.
I would definitely think of getting something like the 1250ml tub as well to store roughly a weeks worth of servings to take back and forth with me to the gym.

This Screw Top Tub is a massive tub which will easily hold a 2.5kg bag of protein or any other supplement but I was looking for one to take the entire contents of the larger 4.4kg bags that I buy and it falls short in that it only holds about 3/4. That said, I can't fault the tub. It's well made, solid and the lid stays securely screwed on even when stored on it's side. Each tub measures about 32cms in height and is about 23cms in diameter at the base if that's any help to anyone!
- (28 / Aug / 2013)
These Screw Top Tubs are great for storing your protein instead of the pouches it comes in. It's a great way to keep it dry and reduce spillage.
- (26 / Aug / 2013)
This Screw Top Tub is great. It's perfect for taking with you if you are going to travel as I do, so it doesn't burst as if it was in a bag. This is nice and simple with no stupid pictures on it or anything like that. It fits more than enough protein in it, overall I am happy with it.
- (20 / Aug / 2013)
The Screw Top Tub is very easy to use and necessary for all powders.

"Ordered the 6 litre tub, brilliant quality. another my protein special."
- (04 / Dec / 2012)
"I bought the 10000ml tub and quite impressed with it really. Quality plastic used and doesn't feel cheap like the great price suggests! It holds 3.5kg of whey protein rather snugly with not much room left so really happy with that as that is the amount of whey I had bought. Bought another as a spare as you never know when an extra will come in handy. Definitely recommend these, 10/10"
- (24 / Oct / 2012)
"I purchased the 4000ml tub for my 1kg of impact whey. First of all, the tub (4000ml) is well made and a good size to fit on any shelf or in any cupboard. The 1kg of impact whey filled the tub approximatley 90%, so for anyone wondering how many kg's of protein the tubs can hold, I strongly reccomend 4000ml per kg as a benchmark. Very happy with this product and I'd recommend it to anyone :)"
- (06 / Oct / 2012)
I bought the 10000ml tub and it's well made. For anyone unsure of sizes I posted a review for this tub which include pictures here: http://community.myprotein.com/supplements-formulas/39699-review-10000ml-tub.html#post555258 If I needed more I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.

"i ordered the 6litre tub because my bags seal ripped, i put the rest of my hurricane xs in the tub and it really helps to keep it fresh, not too big to fit in a cupboard also very cheap for the quality "
- (02 / Jul / 2012)
"Ordered two 6-litre tubs, 1 kg Impact Whey Protein, and 2.5 kg Instant Oats. The 1 kg of whey protein fills about a third of its tub and the 2.5 kg of oats fill about two thirds, each perfect for when you need to resupply but have some left at the bottom. Very good tubs, well-made, screw lid is easy to tighten and undo and never comes loose. I suggest getting the 6-litre over the 4-litre because the extra literage is well worth the added 50p in price, unless you like to shake it up at the gym - they're fairly big tubs."
- (06 / Jun / 2012)
"i got 2 6000ml tubs and they fit 2.5kg of whey perfect and even 5kg of instant oats but the oats you need to push down and flatten out to fit 5kg into a 6000ml tub, work really well there plain white nothing else to say really beats keeping oats n whey in a bag incase bag bursts or rips"
- (10 / Apr / 2012)
"This was my first purchase with MP and I am very impressed. Delivery was super fast (ordered on Bank Holiday Sunday and delivered on the following Tuesday). I ordered 1 x 6000ml and 1 x 1250ml tub, along with 2.5KG Whey Protein Isolate (Choc Smooth) and 750g Creapump. The 2.5KG Whey fits perfectly into the 6000ml and the Creapump fits nicely in the 1250ml, with room enough for a large scoop, bonus. Tubs are nice a sturdy and the screw top lid fits nice and tight. Well worth the money."
- (27 / Mar / 2012)
"Excellent product, bought it on the ground that people had reviewed that their pouches had ripped. 5kg of Impact Whey Protein fits nicely into 2 6000s and a 4000 with a little space left over."
- (02 / Mar / 2012)
"5k oats didn't fit at first in 6L tub but if you leave it for like 1-2mins, it settles down and you can add the rest in =)"
- (07 / Feb / 2012)
"GREAT product for keeping your powders secure and fresh, HOWEVER i ordered the 1.25 litre tub and 1KG of powder DOES NOT FIT INTO THIS Otherwise great product!"
- (22 / Jan / 2012)
"Utterly astounding. my mate bought me one and i have never forgotten the day. its has smooth, succulent rounded edges and a ridged, rough lid that feels great to the....hands. Makes for excellent storage of marbles, Amino Acids or yoghurt, either way. one fault however is that the plastic is not in fact ""Food Grade"" and is very dangerous to eat. After an operation to remove the plastic from my spleen and the marbles from my gastro-intestinal tract I was back to normal, readily consuming three a day. Great buy."
- (19 / Jan / 2012)
Very good the 1250ml will hold 700g right upto the brim :)
- (11 / Dec / 2011)
Glucosamine Sulphate 500gm holds half way in a 1250ml tub
- (09 / Nov / 2011)
"4000ml - 1kg of whey protein fills approx 3/4 full, far better than other well known generic brands wide openeing easy to use, time saver and for the price has got to be a must buy!!"
- (19 / Sep / 2011)
"Just to let some people know, 2.5kg of impact whey will not fit into a 6000ml tub, you'll have some left over. This is an excellent tub and would recommend it to anyone."
- (20 / Jun / 2011)
"Good tub, like the one's more expensive brands of protein power come in. I'd rather buy a couple of these and recieve my protein in bags as it works out cheaper in the long run. Other brands must factor their packaging costs into the price of the protein and I end up chucking away loads of tub that could be reused, what a waste. Only issue is they would be easier to fill if the lid was a bit wider."
- (12 / Apr / 2011)
"Excellent tubs, MUCH,MUCH better than the old ones MP did so well done for listening to the customers! As below says, 1250ml will hold 500g creatine mono with no probs, thank-you for that one!"
- (12 / Apr / 2011)
"Bought two of the small tubs (1250ml) with my last order to BCAA powders I had also ordered. Holds the 500g of Leucine powder easily but is slightly too small for the 500g of BCAA powder. Overall quality is excellent, well worth the money."
- (04 / Apr / 2011)
"good quality tubs, bought two 4000ml - 1kg of whey protein fills approx 3/4 full, 1kg of instant oats fills approx 1/3 full"
- (14 / Mar / 2011)
"Excellent tubs. Far superior to the previous tubs that used to be sold. The screw off lid comes with a food grade metal seal on the inside to stop powders from leaking. Excellent. Bought the small tub (1250 ml) which held 500g of Creatine Ethyl Ester HCl very well, being nearly full. Also holds 500g of Leucine with the same efficiency. Overall, very pleased."
- (08 / Mar / 2011)
"I've ordered the 1250ml and the 4000ml tub. The 1250ml was able to fill to the brim the Creapump (750g), but the 4000ml wasn't able to completely fill the Impact blend (2.25kg), it probably would with the 6000ml if I had enough money for it. But yeah, it's a great product, very beneficial and I look forward to purchasing the Item again if need be. A+"

"AMAZING PRODUCT, complete time/ life saver. I ordered the small tubs ( 1250 ) medium ( 4000 ) . secure tubs and good lids. small tub held creatine monohydrate 500g, took up most the tub. essential amino acid 500g went to about 3/4 maybe slightly more. branch chain amino acids (BCAA) 250g, took small tub to around 1/2 to 2/3 full. maybe slightly less. but don't think 500g would fit. medium tub filled 4/5 or above with 1 kg melon whey isolate. hope this helps some of u guys get a rough idea of contents that can fit in each. the medium (4000) tub don't quite fit in most shelf in kitchen cupboards, so the larger size (6000) will defo cause storage issues. fantastic product 6* even."
- (16 / Feb / 2011)
"Absolutely got to agree with Louis Wiltshire -- these are much better than the ""clip-top"" tubs MyProtein USED TO sell. There are the same brand of tubs you get when you order protein in a tub from the MPMAX range -- which are really durable, and the screw-top lid is fantastic. Here's some information about powder sizes for people considering buying (and please, any future reviews, tell people what size you got, for what product, and how much of the product!): - 4000ml is great for 1kg of Creatine (the actual volume of the powder is closer to 2500ml) - 1250ml is MORE THAN enough for 100g Multi Vitamin Powder, in fact, 500ml would be sufficient!"
