As a massive foodie this mid morning meal really hits the spot. 100% luxury. At first i didn't really think much of the pancake mix but with my experience as a chef I decided to persist and managed to perfect it! Here's how: 50g Pancake Mix (I use the maple syrup) 125ml water (this may look a bit thin when added but trust me on this ;) ) Optional: Dried/fresh fruit and/or nuts (make sure you cut the fruit up into little bits and crumble the nuts) 15g Mascapone 25ml Apro Hazelnut milk Heat a non stick pan to hot/very hotBreak down any lumps in the pancake powder with the whisk before adding the water. There is no need for any oil/butter/spray oil, they will not stick. Pour in the water all at once and whisk for say 30 seconds until smooth. Pour half of the mix into the pan evenly (making sure the pan is flat). Sprinkle on half of your prepared nuts and/or fruit. Now here's the important bit: make sure you only cook the first side jsut to the point where it starts to pubble and theres still a little liquid ontop. Now using a spatula, carefully flip it over. The pancake is now 90% cooked. Cook the second side now for literally a few second, this way the its still going to be nice and moist inside as the pancake has still maintained it's moisture. Repeat again for the second pancake. Now I like to mix the mascapone and hazelnut milk until it starts to froth. Then pour over the top (this makes the pancake super moist). Enjoy guys, you will not regret buying this.Goes Well With:Fresh/Dried Fruit Nuts
I get a bag of the golden syrup mix every order and I can tell you that this pancake mix must have been made from ground angel wings, a pinch of pure happiness and a dusting of Megan Fox because these are positively delightful! 250ml of skimmed milk, 4 level scoops of mixture and you will have noises coming from your mouth that should be reserved for the bedroom!! Keep the pan heat reasonably low, mix one scoop at a time into the milk and the consistency is perfect every time! They will keep you full for hours and get your protein intake going first thing in the most enjoyable way! Top with pure peanut butter and you will refuse any other pancake again! I like to take mine at breakfast, but the girlfriend likes them cold for lunch as well! Take your pick! The only regret is that your bank balance will never be the same again after ordering over and over again! Perfecto! Goes Well With:Peanut butter, banana, coffee, anything!
Like all pancakes, the first couple you make you always chuck away and it's nodifferent here. Found the first one far too thick, added a bit extra water and then used a smaller frying pan and boom, perfection! A lot more filling than I thought so unless you're Dwayne Johnson then go easy with the portionsGoes Well With:Chocolate Peanut butter, almonds
Great product like the taste but needs to be made very thin
I bought this mixture first time and fell in love with it! Very easy to make, Ive got the syrup taste, some might say its to sweet but it diffenetly kills my cravings. If the pan is too hot it bubbles up, took me some time to get the right heat of the pan but now i have perfect pancakes. Quite filling as well, could not eat more then two, got about 5 out of one portion of mixture. Sometimes i fill it with cottage cheese or strawberries. Heavenly worth buying!!! Goes Well With:cottage cheese, plain yoghurt or any fresh fruit.
You've got to put alot of extra in to make the unflavoured pancakes taste of anything other than an omlette I'd save some money and use eggs and a scoop of protein powder..Goes Well With:Banana. Berries. Cocoa powder
I have the maple syrup flavor pancake mix and it is amazing! Especially if you have a sweet tooth. The only downfall is that they might be a bit TOO sweet. I admit that I get a bit bored with my entirely savory diet and these hit the spot! I couldn't have ate another sweet thing all day! Goes Well With:Chopped banana in the mixture - IT CARAMELIZES!
Really easy to mix, I used hand blender, ready in minutes. Cooked like usual pancakes, and as long as you make them fairly thin, as a pancake should be, cook really quickly. Good taste especially with blueberries, but also maple syrup! If panacake too thick, puffed up like omelet, which I found too filling to get through. Good product. Goes Well With:Fruit, especially slice pears, blueberries, also maple syrup and pecan nuts. Yum !
The taste was ok, a little bit heavy on the artificial sweetener but the texture was disgraceful. Like chewing a piece of cardboard. Both my Dad and myself took one bite and threw the rest away!
I've tried the golden syrup and maple syrup flavours and love both, and I don't usually like flavoured protein or whey in foods. At first I thought these were ok but now I've got the technique down I love them. Add way less milk than called for, maybe an egg, and fry low and low until they're barely cooked. Texture is perfect this way, half way between crepes and American style. I have these most days for breakfast with frozen berries and yogurt or PB for moisture. I cook them the night before and they still taste good. Please make these in cinnamon Danish flavour! Goes Well With:Frozen fruit, yogurt, PB
These were quick and easy to make, however i only used one scoop with milk as i found it was enough for breakfast, tasty and filling. Simply addded one scoop to my shaker bottle, add milk, shake, then add to frying pan, literally that easyGoes Well With:banana and my protein peanut butter
I ordered flavoured mix and it is way too sweet. If you want normal pancakes just add one egg otherwise pancakes will be very thin.Goes Well With:Peanut butter
So quick and easy to make and eat. Perfect night time snack. They taste great straight out the pan. Have also tried with adding eggs and is a good mix.Goes Well With:Peanut butter and Nutella 😍
After reading some of the reviews I had high hopes for this. I honestly believe if you did a blind taste test with this and a peice of cardboard, you'd struggle to guess which was which.
My go to breakfast. Amazing with nutella. make sure you cook on low heat so you dont dry them out. Can mix with an egg or peanut butter for added texture :)
I bought the small pack of chocolate and golden syrup to try although I wasn't expecting too much after reading the reviews about them being lumpy and hard to cook. I tried the golden syrup first using 125ml water with 50g in my breville active blend, it blended really well and I managed to get two large pancakes out of it, they cooked within a few minutes and didn't stick or fall apart. When I tasted them I was amazed they were so tasty, the golden syrup is very sweet but still delicious. I tried the chocolate the following day and it was just as easy to cook, it is not really chocolately but just right for pancakes. The next day I tried adding an egg to the mixture and it makes it even more soft and fluffy. I have just ordered the large bags and also the maple syrup to try. It is very filling, full of protein and low in calories. This is definitely my new breakfast and after workout treat.
I bought the Maple Syrup flavour. The powder is fairly easy to mix but you have to work it well to avoid lumps. The pancakes cook really quick, which is excellent at breakfast time. Their taste is quite sweet so anything you spread on them should not add any more sugar. My Protein crunchy almond butter is my favourite topping, but they are excellent on their own too. Goes Well With:Unsweetened almond butter.
I can't understand why people are rating these low?! The only thing that requires a bit of thought is that they mix with lumps sometimes. Solution: pour the mixture into a blender, blend for 30 seconds, done. Perfectly smooth mixture with no lumps. To stop it sticking I use some 1 cal. fry light spray (no problems) peals of the pan easy. I use about 4 sprays per pancake to ensure it doesn't stick (can't moan at 4 extra calories). They cook in about 3 minutes and the only addition I make to the recipe is a chopped banana on top! I have the golden syrup flavoured pancakes and when I made them I was a bit sceptical about the taste, however when I tried one I was pleasantly surprised! They tasted amazing! I couldn't stop eating them! The standard mix of 50g to 150ml of milk was a bit thick for me so I added 200ml of milk and it made 4 small and thick pancakes. Product is very simple to use and tastes great! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be purchasing again!Goes Well With:Chopped Banana
golden syrup flavor is nasty all I can taste is artificial flavor and sweeteners they should do this in a unflavored option and you can add your own flavor of choice Goes Well With:nothing
They taste amazing. They keep me filled up for hours. They're REALLY easy to make. If you want them extra fluffy - add an egg. I'm just going to keep buying them. Have tried all the flavours and love them all.
As someone who often misses breakfast this give me something quick, easy and fulfilling to eat in less than 5 mins and is obviously much better for you than a stop en-route to the office. Will definitely be re ordering, I purchased the Golden Syrup version, yes it is sweet but hey it is a pancake after all....
Very excellent taste, ordering several times, never disappointed
These little ditty's taste amazing. I bought the standard mix and used unsweetened Almond Milk to blend with. Have started adding Cinnamon and 100% Raw Cacao into the mix. Top it off with some Blueberries and 100% Peanut Butter. Works a treat!Goes Well With:Blueberries. 100% Raw Cocoa. 100% Peanut Butter.
Very happy I bought these! Not only a relatively high level of protein, but low carbs, meaning I can add what I want without feeling overly guilty. I like to either enjoy as a breakfast or as a pudding/snack to curb a sweet tooth. It took a few attempts to perfect, but now its very quick to create a high protein meal or snack. I noticed a few lumps in the shaker I used, but was unable to tell once cooked. Goes Well With:Bananas and maple syrup MyProtein smooth peanut butter
Bought MP's Maple Syrup flavour. Very very tasty! Not too sweet. Just right and nice and moist too.Tried this pancake mix because I was getting tried of protein bars and wanted something for work that had good ingredients and nutritional profile. Plus it's very cheap. This has twice the protein content of most bars and is very filling compared to endlessly having protein shakes. Very easy to make either in the morning or the night before and put it in the fridge. Vanilla would be a great flavour to introduce MP! :)Goes Well With:Omega Balance :)
Recently bought these and they are already my new favourite breakfast! Bought the unflavoured version - I have 1.5 scoops with 100ml almond milk and that makes 2 good size pancakes (I like them slightly thicker!). I mixed it in a shaker with a ball and it mixed pretty well, although there were still a few lumps left. I found them so easy and quick to cook!! I don't think i'd like to eat the plain ones by themselves, but when you have them with fruit etc they taste sooooo good! They are really fluffy too. And they are SO FILLING! If I have these for breakfast I know I won't be hungry again until lunch. Goes Well With:Fruit, peanut butter, honey, maple syrup
So easy to do it and getting 20gr of protein just like that. Love this product totally!!! Shame didn't get more!
Love these pancakes. Tried the unflavoured one at first, which were ok but found had to add toppings to them for added taste. Following this I bought the maple syrup ones and they taste so good! I don't need to put anything on them, although I am not sure of the nutrition value for these ones. They mix really well and if you only cook just for a minute each side they do not go dry. Excellent for breakfast as gives you a feeling of fullness of protein and carbs, or as an after dinner treat if you have a sweet tooth but don't want to eat something unhealthy! Will continue to buy these, would love the nutrition info for them!Goes Well With:Honey, Banana
Great value pancakes, excellent macros. Perfect protein breakfast!
I got maple syrup flavour and these are the absolute BOMB. Had chocolate before but these are way better. I think they mix okay too.. I find 125ml of water is best and you've got to be patient when cooking them to keep them from sticking or tearing but that's pancakes!Goes Well With:Cinnamon & calorie free pancake syrup
Pancakes are tasty but I'm not sure about the texture which is rubbery. I have tried adding egg and baking powder which makes the pancakes nicer and fluffier. Goes Well With:Apple sauce, maple syrup, blueberries
My first try with these was a disaster!!! I thought "what have I wasted my money on??" The mix was really runny, there was a nasty after taste... Vile. Then after speaking to my PT she mentioned that she puts Cottage Cheese in the mix to thicken it up a bit. Worked perfectly! So now rather than getting burnt, thin pancakes I get gorgeous thick 'American style' pancakes with no after taste at all. Plus, extra protein from the low-fat cottage cheese. What I did was: 100ml of water 1 tbsp of low-fat cottage cheese 2 scoops of pancake mix Ta-daaaaaaa! Enjoy :)
I have no idea how effective this is but they sure are tasty. Mixes well, cooks quickly and is ideal as a snack or a desert. Goes Well With:Peanut butter
Really easy and quick to mix I had mine with blueberrys and strawberries. Goes Well With:Fruit to make a filling breakfast
Love myprotein range for everything I've tried. Protein pancakes are amazing and super tasty!Goes Well With:Myprotein zero syrup
These pancakes are mega tasty! Nice and sweet. Took a couple tries to make them properly and they come out thinner than normal pancakes but still very filling. A serving makes about 5 small panckes (more than enough). Defo recommend.Goes Well With:Almond milk, blended.
Really easy to make and taste great! Goes Well With:Fruit, yogurt
Great for morning where you fancy something sweet, treat yourself to some low fat strawberry yogurt with it and you have a low calorie high protein meal / treat!Goes Well With:Yogurt, jam, coffee
Very easy to mix and simple to cook. The maple syrup flavour is a little bit sweet, but still nice! Very convenient product!Goes Well With:Streaky bacon and scrambled eggs for a true power breakfast!
Dont try to make American, "fluffy", pancakes - it turns into neoprene. English "crepe" style pankakes can be made, but are still rubbery. Avoid!
Really enjoyed pancakes, made with almond milk and a bit of baking powder to make extra fluffy and were delicious - felt like a real treat Goes Well With:Greek yoghurt
Better of making an actual pancake mix, found when mixed with water it just did not cook in a pan.
Great product, ordered 200g and that was gone within a week so re ordered 1Kg when it came back in stock and tried the chocolate ones too. Good as a savoury alternative if you're trying to cut down on a carby, sugary breakfast. You will need to add some liquidy accompaniment, they tend to be a lot drier than standard pancakes so buy the MyProtein syrups or have a runny egg! Goes Well With:Mashed Avacado and a poached egg and bacon as a brunch! I've also added smoked salmon and Creme fraiche with lemon and black pepper in my lunch box, really tasty.
I'd tried any earlier mixture of this and found it to be not quite what I expected, however this time I ordered directly from my protein and was pleasantly surprised, I mix 1 1/2 scoops of this with one egg and 150 ml of milk with a little cinnamon for taste. The result couldn't be better and provides me with a massive hit of protein early in the morning. I like to have the pancakes before a heavy deadlift session, they are the best fuel for these I've found! Would highly recommend.Goes Well With:Blueberries, cinnamon and maple syrup
Lively taste and easy to make. Absolutely amazing product.Goes Well With:Almond and peanut butter.
Amazing product, mixes really easily. Took me a few attempts to cook them correctly but now I have nailed it. 100ml of 1% fat milk with 50ml of water works for me. I get about 4 medium sized pancakes which is just enough for breakfast!Goes Well With:Blueberries, strawberries, bananas........ Anything you can think of!
You must try the golden syrup flavour. I usually make my own protein pancakes but these were tastier and quicker.Goes Well With:My syrup zero sugar
Brilliant. Bought the unflavoured version. I'm getting around 8 pancakes for a 50g serving! Top those with turkey bacon and poached eggs or some chocolate spread and some maple MySyrup and they taste awesome and you've got yourself a tasty breakfast/snack/pudding for little calories. Tend to mix with water in a shaker and cook them on a medium heat with some low cal spray and they come out nicely. Mixes well this way with minimal washing up. Goes Well With:MySyrup/Chocolate Spread Bacon/eggs
I got the maple syrup pancakes 250g to try , wow tastes amazing really good and the delivery is fast , just ordered another I got 500g this time .
Taste is amazing and so easy to make!!! Although you dont get many portions out of It and its quite expensive for what it is! But if youre like me and useless at making your own protein pancakes then deffo recommend! Goes Well With:Milk
