Myprotein's unique home bake protein muffins are an excellent food supplement for anyone that enjoys baking and wants an added protein intake throughout the day in the form of a healthy snack. These Protein Muffins use a blend of protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate and egg protein which provide a comprehensive amino acid profile. All you need to do is add milk and bake in the oven and you have a delicious snack that can be consumed at any time of the day.
Preheat oven to gas mark 5/190°C and line a muffin tin with paper muffin cases. Mix 3 Large MP Scoops (100g) with 100ml of milk and 2 tablespoons of vegetable/coconut oil and mix together (the mix should be relatively thick). 100g will make approximately 4 muffins. Add the mix to the muffins cases and cook in the oven on gas mark 5 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the tray before lifting out onto a rack to cool completely.

The mix is easy to make and easy to clean up The mix is great plain or when mixed in with other flavours such as chocolate. Suitable for larger bakes to made a Victoria sponge with some zero kcal preserve Goes Well With:Coffee (after baked of course)
I added cocoa powder, vanilla and stevia for protein muffins - they tasted great, by did puff up a bit more than I expected! So they were a little funnily shaped but still made for a great guilt free method of protein intake. Great on-the-go snack and pack a good amount of protein, would definitely recommend :)
The mix itself, isn't to bad. I will say though to take the taste from okay to wow. You should add some sweeter and maybe your choice of essence to really get those taste buds going.
I have ventured in kitchen by making a 100% protein Waffle and the outcome in term of the taste was incredible. My 750 gr pouch no longer last a month. All i did is mix the protein muffin mix, brown rice and pea protein. I added pea protein to enhance the batter texture. It was so yummy that I am now about to order another batch. I will be having this at least twice per week. It takes 15 minutes to have the waffle ready. This is what I need straight after a heavy weight lifting session. carb/ protein ration can be modified to your own taste. Oat floor could be substituted to brown rice.Goes Well With:Brown rice, powdered skimmed milk and pea protein
I don't often eat cakes or muffins but these were a very pleasant snack after workout days, they have a little of what i need, were easy to mix up and bake.Goes Well With:Protein shake
This mix worked really well and was really straight forward. I'm used to baking and have done so for ages, but I fancied doing something that wasn't going to pack on the pounds! These are obviously not as fluffy/crumbly as your standard coffee-shop-gourmet muffin, but what do you expect? Doing low-cal, high protein, low sugar baking means that we have to make compromises. Luckily these muffins allow quite a bit of room for creativity. Sprinkle with dessicated coconut, add cinnamon, vanilla or orange extract, cocoa powder, poppy seeds or even your favourite MP flava drops...done!Goes Well With:cinnamon, coconut, coconpure, almond butter
Great taste but would like to find out how much protein does each muffin contains :)
