To make your own protein packed flatbreads simply add 3 large scoops (100g) of powder to 120-150ml of warm water and 2 tsp of olive oil. Mix the powder and then form a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes and then set aside. Separate into 4 balls and roll out to strips. Griddle on a high heat for 2 minutes or bake for 10-12 minutes. The instructions for mixing on the packet are different from the online instructions, but neither of them are useful and My Protein need to do something about this before everyone gives up trying to make this really tasty bread. Follow one of the other reviewers guidance and reduce the volume of liquid a lot otherwise you will end up with a sticky mess everywhere, hands, bowl, work surface with most of the mixture being washed down the drain. The mixture I had left on my first few attemps were delicious when cooked, had them with soup and chilli. Just plucking up the resolve to make another batch because they are tasty and my energy was maintained for a much longer time and without the bloating you get from bread. I recommend if you have patience not as quick a fix as I was hoping for.
The flat bread was quite hard (not a bad thing), not sure if it's meant to be like that or a little softer. Taste wise very similar to pitta bread that's been well cooked on the pan. I had it with the tomato protein soup and it worked very well together. Would definitely recommend however it may take a few attempts to get it right.Goes Well With:Protein Soup
I agree with most of the reviews on here that the packet instructions are misleading. Follow them at your peril as you will end with a complete mess. I found that by adding approx 100ml of water to one scoop with a little oil works best. I actually make them like pancakes. Add the runny mix into a hot frying pan and in a couple of mins you will have a pancake size flat bread. Get one side really crispy if you prefer. For a filling I spend avocado with sliced tomatoes and a little salt. Fold over and cut in half...this makes a great snack of breakfast! Goes Well With:avocado and tomatoes.
This flatbread mix tastes nice and cooks well, but the instructions provided are useless. You only need to use about a quarter of the water/oil mix otherwise you are left with absolute slop that is useless, ended up using half the packet before getting the correct results. Beside from that taste is nice, texture is nice, worth a shot if your craving bread.
First of all, I didn't follow the instructions and used it as a substitute of flour to make a pizza dough. 150ml of warm water, 1 teaspoon of sugar and half of active yeast. Left it rest for 15 mins until it got active and mixed it with 6 scoops of flatbread mix, a pinch of salt and a table spoon of sunflower oil. I let it rest for 2 hours and the result was outstanding. Added mozzarella, ham and tomato, Baked it for 15 mins at 275 degrees in a fan assisted oven. The texture and taste was incredibly good. Goes Well With:Any pizza toppings
I used this mix to create my own protein pizza. The mix was very easy to make as it only needed two ingredients. I suggest making the actual pizza base thin as it will crisp up in the oven and is a great base for you to add your pizza toppings. It mixed well ....taste good when just out of oven went a bit like rubber when left for a while. Goes Well With:Burgers or as an open sandwich with lots of salad and some tuna

I've been using Myprotein products for years, and have pretty much used the lot, and have always rated the products as excellent and the best value supplements on the market. So when the "foods" came out I was curious to try. This flatbread mix product is, disappointingly, garbage. I made a point of following mix levels put in the reviews, but even then, it just makes a awful sticky mess. I'll continue to use the other products, but I'd drop this from the line Myprotein, it's just not up to scratch. Goes Well With:The inside of my brown bin.
I really liked the taste of the product and it's great to have in the morning - much more filling than regular bread as well, so after two small pieces I was full and had energy until lunch! However, I was really struggling with the doses and was more often ending up with a pancake-like dough, very liquid and thus impossible to cook. Goes Well With:Peanut Butter and Cottage Cheese
I've been using myprotein for years, tried many products and have always been satisfied...until now. I admit I'm not the greatest chef in the world but I couldn't get this product to mix with the suggested usage, asked my otherhalf to restart it and she also struggled with the constancy, it came out really thick and doughy. Won't be bothered to make it again if anyone wants half a bag?
Like normal flatbread BUT the directions are awful.. As other reviewers have said, follow the 'Diet Kitchen' Instructions are this was too watery!! Goes Well With:soup.
These flatbreads taste great, makes your belly full quick and the bellyful lasts a while. As for the recipe, others have noted the instructions being wrong. Instead of using just a little water, I find it very easy to use the amount stated, 150 mL, and insted of treating it as a dough just using it as a thick pancake mix and pouring it in stripes in the frying pan. Taste is very good,but the mixing instructions are rubbish. you don't need anywhere near the amount of water stated in the instructions.
I watched the youtube video, and then just winged it based on what the dough looked like in the video (definately didnt use 100ml though). I added garlic and spices to mine, tasted quite nice. And theyre really quick to make, about 10 minutes maybe. I have no griddle but the frying pan works the same. Another reviewer mentioned them being quite similar to pitta breads, id agree with that.Goes Well With:Chickpea daal
As others have said - the instructions on the packet are way off and you just end up with liquid slop if you follow though. Follow The Diet Kitchen's recipe on YouTube instead and these turn out great (30ml of water, not the 100 the packet says!)
Reviewers are right, MyProtein guys. Recipe is way off - even with twice the flour it's still too liquidy to work with. Just had to throw away much of my first attempt because the dough would not form. Fellow customers - unless you are Delia and can wing it, wait for them to fix the recipe before trying this.
