Milk Protein Smooth is a milk protein concentrate derived from ultra-filtered skimmed milk. This milk protein is a source of native casein and whey proteins in the same ratio as found naturally in milk (casein 80% and whey 20%). Milk Protein Smooth provides an extremely smooth consistency with an extremely clean and neutral taste.
Due to the production process, no instantising agents are required to provide the excellent mixing and consistency of Milk Protein Smooth. Milk Protein Smooth is extremely versatile; it can be consumed in various forms including; protein shakes, smoothies and yoghurts. Milk Protein Smooth is absorbed slowly by the stomach allowing a tapered supply of amino acids to the muscle over a prolonged period of time. This makes Milk Protein Smooth the ideal protein supplement for between meals and before bed. During sleep, the body is normally starved of nutrients as it is impractical to consume food. Milk Protein Smooth is 78% Micellar Casein, the rest is made up from whey protein and bioactive proteins.
For anyone engaged in a long term physical training plan, getting the right dietary balance is absolutely essential. The body requires the right kind of nutrients in order to perform and develop correctly, and whether these come from food or from supplements, they are needed for many purposes. As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming before bed or between meals 2-3 times per day.
Protein contributes to the growth & maintenance of muscle mass, so to reap the benefits of this product we recommend adding 1 large scoop (30g) to 150-250ml of water or milk in a Myprotein shaker 30 minutes before and/or after your workout. Alternatively consume any time of day to increase your daily protein intake.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This product is intended to be used alongside an active lifestyle and a balanced diet. Not suitable for vegetarians.

This is a great product that mixes well and the chololate one actually tastes like chocolate unlike other brands I have tried. Well recommended.
'Milk Protein Smooth' (unflavoured, 4kg) is absolutely THE BEST weight training/bb food/milkshake available! Although, seemingly, not as good value as 'Impact Whey Protein' (and with a slightly lower protein content) the slower digestion of the (80%) casein means that your muscles are slowly fed a constant stream of protein, thus far less is excreted and wasted (when taken with semi-skimmed milk 3x2 scoups a day, or more). The milk-derived powder also means ALL your amino acid requirements are met. I live off this stuff and the soothing, clean digestion of the product makes me wonder why people with IBS aren't trying it. As for taste, it is the nicest too - (unflavoured is a must, or you're paying for sugar and additives) it makes semi-skimmed milk taste like cream and I always drink it straight down (300ml x3). Although it may not mix quite as well as 'IWP', as it froths slightly, a 700ml shaker easily solves that without a problem. No gimmicky additives, flavourings or sugar - Milk Protein Smooth is all you need, 10/10!Goes Well With:Semi-skimmed milk, 700ml mixer/shaker, Drinking chocolate/cocoa powder/Horlicks, Weight training, Exercise.
Milk Protein is a more recent addition to my supplement stack and I don't know how I managed without it. It provides a slow release of protein hours after drinking, perfect for pre-bed consumption. The powder tastes fantastic (banana) and goes well with other flavours; I mix my Banana Milk Protein with Natural Chocolate Whey and it tastes amazing! The mixability is not great as it seems to remain powdery no matter how long and hard I shake it, there are no lumps, just a slightly grainy 'dry' texture.
stay away from banoffe its vile, to be fair most the flavours are but i love raspberry so sample the flavours first. when i first used this it was a pinch and guzzle but when you get used to the chalky casine in it your fine. definatly see results from this especially the morning after a hard workout.it looks expensive but 2.5kg lasts you about 2-3 months.
Yes it has a slightly (emphasis on slightly) chalky consistency but that's the nature of casein based products. But it mixes far better than ON or reflex or any of the industry majors' products and tastes better too. The macro breakdown is perfect and last but not least it's far better value than the major brands. Goes well with xantham gum.
Probably the worse protein I have ever tasted. I should have realised from the fact the item was on sale for 40% off. Had to throw it away Goes Well With:Nothing.... terrible with milk and even worse with water
Taste and mixability of the product seem irrelevant, however but I must of course objectively evaluate the qualities of these properties as requested, despite fears that such evaluations would give negative impressions of the product. I'd like the product to be continued as long as possible, as I am a long-term user. The taste of the product is relatively neutral, there is nothing especially good or bad about it, which fits my purposes perfectly. It certainly won't overpower any flavoring that you might want to use along with it. Mixability is not the best. However, I would never recommend one to consume only milk protein in a shake, for instance, but to use some carbohydrate source along with it. Such mixture which will also provide excellent mixability, as the different ingredients collide in the shaker. This is a basic milk protein product. Milk protein has been shown in studies to produce more anabolic effects than whey protein. Thus, it is my base protein in my regime. It is a high-quality product, it gives me zero milk-related side effects, that I get from other milk products. 5 stars overall. Tip: Mix yourself the best mass gainer / in-between meal possible: a portion of milk protein, along with some oats. Can't get better than that. Gulp some good fats along, and you will be gtg.Goes Well With:Oats
recently just back into training and was suffering terrible DOMS bought this and recovery is now excellent and what I used to be like,,, does work well if you eat correct etc.. I only gave a 3 for flavour as I buy all my powder unflavoured I like to get every last drop without any fillers and il say it mixes well with water but tends to leave a lot of bubbles in your shaker when finished. BUT I just mixed it with milk tonight and it was excellent no frothy bubbles and tasted just like milk.. this stuff is good value for money and certainly better than cooking steak every night :)Goes Well With:milk
Taste isn't that bad (had the natural version), kind of like milk surprisingly.. Mixes fine. Have it before bed and I don't wake up hungry so alls good.Goes Well With:Water
Love this, strawberry cream flavour tastes great, I take it with almond milk which it mixes well with. Will be buying again.Goes Well With:Almond milk
Tried banana, vanilla and strawberry smooth - they taste like nesquick! I don't drink them usually, but instead add them to soft cheese (quark) or Greek yoghurt for a low-calorie protelicious (delicious and protein-rich) snack. Can also add to uncooked oats and mix with water/milk to make tasty cold porridge. The key here is the soy lecithin - it thickens up the mixtures, giving them more bulk and therefore making them more filling - perfect for cutting! Goes Well With:Yoghurt, Quark, Oats, Milk, Water
Great protein. The all round tastes real nice with milk perfect for bedtime suppresses hunger for those dieting and of course prolonged protein throughout the night. Good stuff.Goes Well With:milk and water
Great product and a great taste. Good for morning and nights.Goes Well With:Almond milk
I've used this the past year with breakfast and before bed alongside other supplements and I feel this gives the edge as during the night you'll stop catabolismGoes Well With:Hurricane XS, alpha men, myamino complex, zma, HMB and taurine
Been trying the various different ranges of whey/milk protein sample sachets this week to get a feel for the varieties (milk, concentrate, isolate) of protein supplements and the way they can be absorbed. I elected to try this on workout days just before I go to bed to, of course, aid in the recovery of muscle overnight - as well as an isolate shake yanked down straight after the gym. I ordered this in vanilla flavour, tried it yesterday night, and while it was quite good (it was quite a good aid in actually getting to sleep, which as an insomniac is a very nice surprise), the taste is the only part that falters for me. The taste was barely there! It wasn't chalky as some reviews have mentioned, but the flavour was non-existant, and the flavour that was there reminded me more of marshmallow than of plain vanilla (I was expecting a flavour like ice cream). Aside from that though it's a great supplement, though I will definitely elect for a different flavour next time, and may grab the Micellar Casein instead of the Milk Protein Smooth proper.Goes Well With:Water, milk (or milk substitutes)
Don't be put off by the doesn't mix well reviews!! At first I thought the reviews saying it was 'chalky' when mixed where correct, and was a bit disappointed, although I found it 'chewy' rather than chalky! However, having left this standing for 10-15 mins after first shaking it mixes completely, and produces a great tasting, smooth and creamy drink. I now mix this before a workout rather than after and it's great. I was looking for something that would slow release protein as well as give me a hit when needed, but so many of the complex powders are full of sweetners, which I hate the taste of. This is the best tasting unflavoured product I've come across, and I find it far easier to digest than whey powder on its own, which often leaves me feeling sickly. Bonus is it also keeps me full for much longer than just whey! Goes Well With:Milk, coconut milk, almond milk, water
Really Disappointing. I usually use whey but was tempted by this being on offer. Really chalky when mixed with milk. Almost Undrinkable when using 2 or more scoops. Leaves a chalky coating in your throat. Anything but smooth ! Wish I'd stuck with whey impact.
The best source of protein I have tried (from whey to pure casein to vegan to beef). So here is how I make perfect chocolate mousse with Milk Protein Smooth. Unflavored Protein Smooth (1 scoop) 2-3 teaspoons of dark cocoa powder 1-2 micro scoops sucralose 100-150 ml semi skimmed milk (1.5% fat) 100 -150 ml water mix with a spoon well until it is a thick substance with no lumps on it (you have to find the right amount of liquids so it s not too watery or too thick). place it in a bowl on your fridge. after 15 minutes it is ready. and tell me how perfect this mousse is. Best part: max 150-200kcal 80% of the calories are protein (25-30 grams) tons of antioxidants from cocoa. only 7 grams of carbs and sugars (from the milk) and 2 grams of fat Seriously could eat this stuff the whole day, every day.
Strawberry cream tastes pretty good, I use a 60/40 milk to water mix, then chuck in a few ice cubes (Nobody likes tepid milk, no matter the flavour), it blends quite well, but then, once all the lumps are gone, you're left with a coarse gritty texture, like somebody put a spoonful of sand in there. Not so nice, but bearable. Providing it fulfils your needs in a similar fashion, I'd got for the impact whey instead, it's a much smoother texture and blends just as easily.
This is probably the worse protein I have ever used. I brought Milk Protein Smooth - Strawberry Cream and the taste is extremely bland and disappointing - there is a slight hint of strawberry. Even worse is the mixing - when mixed with water or milk and then mixed by using a standard shaker it creates a ridiculous amount of foam - you probably lose a quarter of the protein to the foam - which if left settles down to liquid but this will take hours. Also the texture of the protein is lumpy and not pleasant. I would warn people off buying this.
Have always bought whey isolate in the past and been very happy with it, but was tempted by the special offer price on milk protein, but wish I hadn't bothered. The powder does not mix at all well and has a really chalky taste/feeling in your mouth. Would not suggest buying this product to anyone. Goes Well With:Nothing that I could find, as could not even make it into protein bar without it tasting bad
This is the first time I have tried a flavour as I usually add my own. I can easily say that I will be buying the Choc Mint from now on. I usually mix 30g with 30g Soy Protein Isolate, 5g Maca, 3g Whole Psyllium Husks and 500ml milk. It all mixes up quite easily and goes down a treat. Goes Well With:Soy Isolate, Maca, Whole Psyllium Husks
I have tried 2 Flavours, Vanilla and Strawberry Cream. I always have my shakes with water and the vanilla is very weak and has a pure chalky taste so its nothing special but the strawberry cream mixed with water has a more prominent taste and is quite enjoyable to enjoy before bed or as a snack to keep me full during the day. I wake up in the morning not feeling as hungry as i used to and feel more energetic as soon as i rise so it feels like its helping me.
Am not big on shakes but with my goals and body shape unfortunately they are a necessity. I chose strawberry flavour as I'd had milkshakes before and they were ok. The taste is ok, but sweet if mixed with milk though. The texture is thick and chalky. I've even tried mixing it in a blender for a good 5 minutes and it still comes out chalky and thick. Difficult to drink due to the texture. Not sure about other flavours. Goes Well With:Water and milk with amino acids mixed in.
Always have a shake before I go to bed, and this one works perfectly. Chocolate tastes good and mixes well. I have had good results from these shakes. Best before bed supplement i've purchased, goes really well with oats and milk. Would recommend to anyone.Goes Well With:Oats. Milk.
Ive been buying MP True Whey for a few years now and its a great product, however, lately i've been wanting something for overnight when i'm asleep and the body wants feeding. I purchased a pouch of this in banoffee flavour and started to use it. The first couple of nights after a session it was really noticable how much better i felt, i usually mix a scoop and a half of this with a scoop and a half of the True Whey protein powder and i'm good for the night. Now whenever i wake up in the night i dont get that grumbly belly feeling anymore, i'm ok until breakfast. So far ive only tried the banoffee flavour, i was hoping it would be abit more 'offee' than 'ban' because i mix it with caramel flavour whey but its certainly not horrible and once you get used to the taste its really not bad at all. My only complaint (and its not really a complaint as such) would be that it doesnt mix aswell as the true whey powder, its very much more powdery than true whey but when mixed with milk or water its very much more runny than just whey. when mixed in with my whey you can tell the slightly different texture but its not horrible, just different. If you're looking for something to feed your body with protein through the night then this is just what you're looking for in my opinion, you could mix it with other protein powders or even some porridge before bed and you'll very ready to go again in the morning.Goes Well With:True Whey, porridge, milk
I use this in the morning, and sometimes midday when I am on the road. I normaly go for the unflavoured, and It suits me well. Just be aware that the shaker needs an extra workout! I also find it a bit more filling than normal whey.
Far and away the best thing I've discovered this year. Decided to give it a whirl when there was a flash discount on, and it's safe to say this will be a staple in my orders from here on in. Bought the vanilla, since I usually get the Vanilla Impact Whey and I knew I'd like it. Mixing required more effort but that's because it increases in volume!! It's thick while still being light, chucked in some psyllium husk and oats and it held me over for hours. Slept better when having it before bed since I didn't wake up starving in the middle of the night. Reckon it's gonna make some awesome fluff! Lifesaver on a cut, get this to stop you wanting to chew off your own leg.Goes Well With:Psyllium husk, oats, flavdrops
Was a bit worried how it would mix due to casein content but goes perfectly if enough liquid is used! Definitely buy this over the calcium caseinate - this isnt chalky or gritty at all. Havent woken up hungry yet, take just before bed and enioy!Goes Well With:Semi-skimmed milk
Bought this to try as a cheaper alternative to casein as I can't stand the taste of whey, it's described as 80% casein 20% whey, from the taste it feels the opposite to me. It needs a lot of liquid to mix well too. One thing I am finding with my protein products is the lack of (nutritional information to each product) on the site. Which is a big shop somewhere else to me as it is important to know what you're buying
Fine milk protein, very good before going to sleep. One minus its doesnt mixes very well.Ive got unflavored version, however its tastes actually good like ice cream!Goes Well With:Ultra colostrum, BCAA
Mixability - Doesn't really mix well with water and leaves an awful amount of froth at the top, and when you drink it, you can feel the grittiness of the shake going down your throat which I find it very hard to drink. Taste- I ordered the chocolate flavour and its just simply awful. Very sweet but doesn't taste anything like chocolate. The flavour along with the grittiness makes it hard to drink imo. Effectiveness - Undeniably effective especially when taken before bed. I feel that when I wake up the next morning, I have less muscle aches and pains. Overall - Highly effective but I cant see myself buying this again.
great find, had been using whey protein as a top-up before bed but this seems a lot better.Nice and easy to mix and great taste ( vanilla ), only used it a few times so far so can't comment on effectiveness yet,but certainly will keep using at the moment.Goes Well With:semi-skimmed milk
I ordered Vanilla Flavor one. It rather tastes like milk than vanilla. It is far away from the ELLE TRUE DIET vanilla flavor. That one is just excellent! Milk Protein Smooth is not sweet at all! So whoever doesn't like sweet stuff, I can recommend this! However if you like the sweet tastes do not buy this as you won't like it. I am not sure I will buy again, because it is not comparable with ELLE TRUE DIET. I love that and I was disappointed in this vanilla flavor. Very very Different (Maybe I've got unflavored one? :) this is why I don't feel the vanilla?) Suggestion to the maker of this product: Be a little bit sweeter, just a little bit and add more vanilla flavor for it. And if will be perfect. Goes Well With:I love milk, but I cannot drink as much as I can or I want. So most of the time I drink it with Coco milk. Better with normal milk.
Once mixed it has to be drank within a few seconds, otherwise it turns into a thick gloopy froth. Once its down it does what its supposed to. I find mixing it with half a scoop of whey makes the consistency much more manageable.Goes Well With:Whey protein
value of the product for me is justified. I am very pleased
I use this in conjunction with hard gainer extreme (post workout), oats and whey bar (in my lunch day after a workout) and instant oats. I add 2-3 scoops of oats with a scoop of this before I go to bed and the following morning after a workout and it yields great results! Gone through 2 kilos of this and onto my second bag of oats, match made in heaven! Mixes really well and chocolate mint tastes amazing! Definitely worth the money
I bought this product as part of the "bulk up bundle" and I have found that along with the other supplements included it has proved to be really effective. The flavour was good and it also mixed well in the shaker.
I love this stuff! It tastes great and mixes into a smooth (and only slightly powdery) shake, easy to drink. I am on a ketonic diet and this product is ideal.
This is a great product that mixes well and the chololate one actually tastes like chocolate unlike other brands I have tried. I'm only at the start of week two on this but so far so good
Noticed a difference in weeks definitely recommend it
this mixes well a tastes great with milk would buy again
Use Vanilla flavour mixed with mix of water and semi skimmed milk before bed and gain the beefits while sleeping. what more can I say, Tastes great and is very effective
I take 2 scoops of unflavoured with around 200ml semi skim milk, ice, toffee MP flavor drops n xanthan gum. My end result is an amazingly thick almost vanilla icecream bedtime shake. Definitely am not hungry until morning or even until the afternoon. It is extremely powdery which makes it messy. Without the flavor drops it just tastes like milk so not bad. I just mixed a scoop into my tub of greek yoghurt and its blended extremely well! Im already a big fan!Goes Well With:milk, flavor drops, greek yoghurt and bedtime
Great value, does what it's supposed to do, recommend the blend for slow release, delivery within few days, been using for years now Goes Well With:Milk, almond milk + cocoa powder for extra choc taste

lovely high quality protein pre bed. I have seen recovery has been better and no hunger pangs over nightGoes Well With:milk and oats
It is better to drink before you go to bed and I have learned and experienced that it helps with the repairing of your muscles, which is really helpful if you want to do more strenuous exercise more often. I have found the banana flavour is my favourite, goes well with 150ml water, 150ml full milk and a dollop of ice cream. The mixability is a bit weird, no lumps or anything but the drink seems 'fluffy' for lack of a better word, its hard to explain, but still no problems, just what I have found. Overall great product would definitely recommend to anyone.
I mixed 1 x 30g serving of the Vanilla flavouring with 1tbsp of cashew nut butter and 100g Greek 0% fat yogurt and knocked up a really yummy dessert....sure you cld do the same with the other flavours with a bit of imagination....but this version was lush!! Eaten before bed....who says you need to skip pudding and more than satisfied my sweet craving...seriously give it a go!Goes Well With:Oat milk, Greek yoghurt
