iBCAA powder is an instant mixing formula that contains 3 of the essential amino acids Leucine, isoleucine and valine in a 2:1:1 ratio.
iBCAA powder is an instantised form of BCAAs (branch chain amino acids) that provides a source of water soluble amino acids, greatly enhancing the mixing potential. These unique amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) contribute to approximately 35% of muscle and cannot be synthesised by the body. Therefore, these branched chain amino acids must be provided through the diet and unlike other amino acids that are metabolised in the stomach, they are metabolised directly in the muscle.
iBCAA powder is suitable for anyone who wants to increase amino acids intake. Generally iBCAA’s are taken by active individuals throughout the day, before and after a workout.
Our soluble iBCAA powder is mixed instantaneously whereby 5g can be consumed with water or your chosen fruit juice.
As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 5 grams 2 - 4 times daily for optimal results. Best consumed with your preferred amount of water or fruit juice.
Add 2 MP small scoops (5g) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately.
1 x level MP Plastic Scoop (small) weighs 2.5g. (not included)
Branch Chain Amino Acids (Leucine, Valine, Isoleucine), Natural Flavour, Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium), Colouring: Berry Blast (Citric Acid, Beetroot red, Anthocyanin), Tropical (Carotene), Blue Raspberry (E133), Grape (E129, E133), Lemon and Lime (E110, E133), Watermelon (E129), Orange (E110), Raspberry Lemonade (E129, E133), Sour Apple (E110, E133).

As a bodybuilder who looks to progress constantly I have discovered that BCAA's are fundamental and are now a foundation supplement in my stack. A good protein, BCAA's and a good diet and you are sorted. The really help reduce DOMS after a workout! As time progresses you will notice a difference over a few weeks of supplementing with them. This type also mixes really well in water and is easy to take and add to protein shakes.Goes Well With:Protein shakes, pre-workouts or on it's own
I've recently started a fitness and meal plan which involved taking BCAAs to help with performance and recovery. I've always struggled to find whey protein that tastes nice, so I wasn't expecting anything special with this product but actually it is really easy to drink and tastes (berry blast) nice! Really pleased with it.
I am really pleased with this product and feel it has made a huge difference to my training and the results I get- it's a definate must have for sports performance.
extremely effective and i will reccomend to my friends
I've tried quite a few of MP's amino acids and so far this is the best I've had. I've always found the powders to be more effective but taste absolutely rank no matter what you mix with. Bought this in orange flavour and it's awesome, I take 2 heaped scoops as recommended with about 150-200ml of water, it mixes really well and tastes great (which I never expected). Bit of a mid-weak orange cordial flavour with very slight sherbet taste at the end, if you don't like taking massive BCAA tablets then give this a try and you won't be disappointed!Goes Well With:Water
Very good product, cheap as you like, haven't scored it in effectiveness as I've only just started using it but mixes very well in the Berry Blast flavour with a multitude of whey flavours. I take this, creatine monohydrate and the Impact Whey in smooth chocolate as my post workout shake in higher doses to help me hit my calories.Goes Well With:IBCAA Berry Blast 5g Impact Whey Chocolate Smooth 60g Creatine Monohydrate Powder 5g 400ml water or 500ml milk (is ok with water if you don't need the extra calories
Amazing mixability esprcially compared to standard My Protein BCAA powder. I tried berry flavour mixed with citrulline mallate and water. The blend tastes a bit soapy but goes down ok and it does the job!Goes Well With:Water
The taste however isn't really that nice. Unless you add some sort of fruit juice or sweetener to it. In terms of being a BCAA supplement, it's great. They should probably update the description and mention that the scoop is included? I was about to buy one, thankfully it was out of stock. I resulted in using a spoon to measure out my first time. Then I realised that they powder is so fine, putting it in a pouch where it only makes up 20% of the total pouch is useless because you just get your hands dirty trying to scoop it and powder all over your hands and surface. So I moved it into a container, which then by some Jesus miracle, I found the scoop. I'm not sure if it's a production error but since my Impact Whey came with the scoop I'm guessing they just provide scoops now anyway.Goes Well With:Fruit juice, a little bit of water, a lot of water with added sweeteners.
I bought this for a pre workout mix and as part of my after work out mix, it mixes well on its own with water and also mixes well with other supplements. Tastes nice too which is a bonus.
Very good, easy to use, great for using intra workout! Good dissolvability
This is a great product by MyProtein. I use this with creatine as my pre-workout and it does a great job. I train fasted (in the middle of a cut) and it helps me maintain the energy I need in the gym. Mixes great. The berry blast flavour tastes great too.
Excellent mixing, better than normal BCCA, no bits If you don´t like taste weak/sharp you can adjust it with amount of water I using 250-300ml water and tasting great (berry blast)
Just like the title says, best intra and pre workout supplement i have ever used. Mixes perfect.
Best pre workout and intra workout supplement in my opinion!
Again another good product supplied by MyProtien. The taste is not the best, however it is not awful, perfectly drinkable with water! The mix ability is just spot on and effectiveness great, this is the first powdered form of BCAA I've tried and used, and I can say I'm reaping the rewards! It has a great 2:1:1 Ratio honestly, spot on and for a brilliant priceGoes Well With:Green Tea Extract
OK Tase and OK mixability I can't believe that My Protein is struggling to get the BCAA line of products right! Don't buy the normal BCAA podwer unless you don't mind drinking something very disgusting...and I normally don't care as long as it in my system trust me but even for me it was not drinkable! This instantized powder form is OK but nowhere near as good as other good brands regerding taste and mixability. It is also at least the same price or even more expensive! It is a shame as all other My Protein products are fantastic value and quality!
This powder mixes perfectly. I gave 5 stars for a taste but I am mixing it with about 450ml of water. With less water the taste is quite sharp and I don't like it. I always use those amino acids during intervals on rowing machine. So receiving nice refreshing taste and protection in same time. Would recommend to anyone.Goes Well With:intervals :)
I like this. I use it in my water when I train and I am finding I am recovering quite nicely. I tend to mix it with water and have it 2-3 times a day. Pretty good stuff.Goes Well With:Creatine Monohydrate ad water
Been using this product with thermobol it's a great product for endurance in the gym good cardio and strength looking leaner now losing fat gaining mass give it ago
Effective supplement. Mixes really well and has a better taste than the normal BCAA.
I was a little nervous for the product, as I have tried a lot of bad products. but I was very surprised when I first tasted it. it's super easy and mix up and tastes great! you get an amazing pump! and I can see a big difference already in a month. I have gained more muscle and have become much more lean! I can highly recommend it!Goes Well With:Caffeine Pro 200 mg
Got the unflavoured variety of this product to put in shakes and drinks throughout the day. All I can say is this is not a nice tasting powder. Anything you put it in will not taste as nice as it was before you put it in. Tried fruit blends, double choc protein shake, orange juice, coffee. Basically, it dissolves ok and tastes like unpleasant aspirin. Solution: chuck it in some water, gulp it down, then drink your nice drink. Don't spoil a nice flavoured drink with it. Get past that bit (and it really is a minor annoyance) and the results are excellent. I would definitely say tablets are easier but this is far more controllable and I feel it is processed more quickly. Good product and important in any serious fitness or workout programmeGoes Well With:water (and not much else)
I'm a newb so too early really to say how effective these are, but definitely seeing some gains (but taking other supps too). Mixability with these is good and dissolves fairly well in water. Taste isn't great though in a shake - much better to add to fruit juice/dilute along with creatine. Really spoilt taste of shakes I found.Goes Well With:Creatine
iBCAA works wonders, workouts which would usually destroy my muscles and make them ache for days, now don't matter. I would recommend taking it once before your workout, once during your session and then once after. I follow that and my muscles don't ache, meaning I can workout just as hard the next day. I'm just not a huge fan of the berry blast flavour but that's the only downside.Goes Well With:Water and orange juice
Great product! Started taking 5g am, 5g pre workout and 10g after workout. Really notice a difference in energy levels. Can't comment beyond that as I have not been using the product long enough. As for taste, and texture, it's pretty much the same as dissolvable aspirin. Of you can tabs the taste of that, then you will be fine with this. I find it goes well in a cup of coffee in the morning without really being noticeable. Will continue to use this product as it is far better value for money than the tablets.
Tried this as I was told my body would absorb more of it than the BCAA tablets I was taking. I had great results and effectiveness with the BCAA tablets so was expecting great things from the iBCAA.. Well, I'd say it works as I never felt any worse while training and seemed to be gradually getting better, but man, the taste is terrible. I mix it with creatine, beta alanine and whey protein and the taste of the iBCAA is over powering. I end up necking it trying not to taste it. I've also tried it with casine, and it's better but urgh! I've taken a break from it, but think I'll be going back to the normal BCAA tablets.Goes Well With:I haven't found anything it goes well with.. yet.
I had the runs a little when I first started taking this, was a bit harsh on my stomach. I reduced the dosage to just one scoop rather than the 2 stated and this problem stopped. Doesn't really taste of anything if mixed with juice, seem to be getting good results. I would definitely buy again.Goes Well With:creapure
I believe this BCAA`s are good, it is obvious you can fell the difference it is not one of that products you see and feel that is working you need to have faith, on the other hand they taste quite bad but after a week or so you get used to them, I would recommend you to mix them with Pulse V4 which is a pre-workout that really helps with the taste.Goes Well With:Pulse V4
Been using iBCAA for over 4 months and is a must when i re-order. Great number of BCAA'S in this product which feed's you as you work out and stops me from going catabolic. A great product and a great price, mixes well and tastes good.Goes Well With:water.
iBCAA is a great product. The mixability and flavour are really good. I use this 2 times a day, once in the morning and in my workout drink with creatine. I've had good results so far.Goes Well With:creatine, beta alanine etc.
Mixes well, does what it says on the tin/bag....good value for money, minimal taste. Good all round product.
Amazing product, mixes instanty and tastes great. My strength and workouts have improved. Highly recommended. Goes Well With:Whey hydrolosate
iBCAA is great tasting and mixes a lot better than the original bcaas. I've been trying to trim up for the summer whilst trying to limit muscle loss, and so far so good using this supplement!Goes Well With:Impact whey
This product is awful. It tastes disgusting, doesn't mix well at all, very gritty, doesn't have any impact on training
Bought this after having issues with the standard BCAA powder not mixing in my water. If you want it to dissolve straight away you'll be very disappointed. Wait for 5/10 mins and it will dissolve quite well, but I find that if I leave the standard one that long it will mix better anyway, so I don't think it's worth the extra money.
iBCAA is excellent, and a very important supplement for those who take training seriously.Goes Well With:Glutamine
No complaints with this product. It does mix well, although it's best if you can leave it for 5 or 10 minutes before you drink it, as all the little nasty bits dissolve after this time. Tastes good and is none sticky - just like a refreshing fruity drink for before / during / after training, with the benefits of BCAA's.Goes Well With:Hard training
iBCAA mixes easily and tastes like BCAA (bitter). Overall, great stuff for stretching my berry blast BCAA a bit. Tastes vile on its own, though.Goes Well With:Berry blast BCAA
Extremely bad taste! I couldn't bare to drink it so I can't rate the effectiveness unfortunately.Goes Well With:throwing up
The berry blast iBCAA tastes amazing! I always look forward to drinking it. I take 10g (4 mp spoons) before working out. I can't really tell if I feel a difference, but it's BCAA and it must do the job.Goes Well With:300ml of water, and whey
iBCAA is a good supplement to include in your diet if you're looking to add lean muscle. I have found that taking this first thing in the morning and before and during training has helped - alongside a proper diet. This product is instantised to help with absorption. The unflavoured version has a very bitter taste, it's certainly not neutral in flavour (like creatine is) and i find it hard to swallow even when mixed with squash or a protein shake and it's very gritty so it doesn't mix completely. I would avoid unflavoured in future. There are better BCAA powders available, but then they cost a bit more...Goes Well With:strong cordial to hide the flavour!
Without a doubt BCAAs are a key supplement to aid in muscle recovery and lean tissue growth. The taste took a couple of usages to adjust to, but all round a good product. I have noticed increases in muscle size and recovery period, but this is partly due to improved diet and more focused training. My only gripe is that the second order of BCAAs has a slightly different taste and consistency to the first order, neither of which is nicer than the first.
iBCAA is good stuff, it tastes a bit weak like very watery squash. It mixes okay but by it's nature it will have bits.
iBCAA is good but doesn't mix at all and is very gritty! There must be better options out there.
I must say that this tastes as bad as an ancient persian rug that someone had died on 100 years ago, and was left to decompose on it. and it does not mix at all, its like trying to mix sand into water. But it works so well. it helps me pile on the muscle and helps stop the pain. So the results are brilliant so I shouldnt really complain.Goes Well With:Nothing can get rid of that taste! Impact Whey, Creatine mono, L-Glutamine
iBCAA is exactly what it says and does what it says! The only two issues I've had is the taste and mixability. The taste of the unflavoured is pretty foul and I'd recommend adding a juice/squash instead of just water. Personally I use it with my pre-workout, craze. However you are still able to taste it through that. This version of Myprotein's BCAA is advertised as "water-soluable" however it rarely, or if not at all, mixes and dissolves. I'm often greeted by a mouth full of grit. As someone who blends oats with their shake I'm usually used to bits but what is left is very gritty and hard to take down. Overall, apart from the points above, it's a great product and good for value for money.
The iBCAA is not the best in taste but it does the job. Can't complain for what you get!
iBCAA is an essential supplement for training. It must be well mixed with ample water to avoid particles stuck in the froth after drinking, but does taste very nice. I've heard unflavoured is like paracetamol so flavoured is a definite choice.Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein
Taste is not great, but anyone who spends their entire review complaining about it needs to reassess their priorities. It is perfectly manageable, and I'm using the unflavoured with water! It doesn't dissolve at all (despite claiming to) but I would imagine this isn't an issue if you're mixing into a shake. I'll be trying the non-instantized BCAA next as I see no justification for this price over the other product. Along with creatine and a naturally healthy, high protein diet I have had good lean gains. Easy to consume 5gs before a workout and doesn't give that bloated feeling (think whey shake). Reduces DOMS significantly.Goes Well With:Creatine monohydrate and a damn good workout
I've used this iBCAA for the first time and its great! I add it to apple juice and it doesn't taste sour or anything like that. It mixes really well and nothing is wasted at the bottom. I have begun to see a slight difference in my routine because of this. For the full effectiveness I'll keep buying it until I'm happy. It goes with everything though, hard graft is needed for the full outcome.
