iBCAA powder is an instant mixing formula that contains 3 of the essential amino acids Leucine, isoleucine and valine in a 2:1:1 ratio.
iBCAA powder is an instantised form of BCAAs (branch chain amino acids) that provides a source of water soluble amino acids, greatly enhancing the mixing potential. These unique amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) contribute to approximately 35% of muscle and cannot be synthesised by the body. Therefore, these branched chain amino acids must be provided through the diet and unlike other amino acids that are metabolised in the stomach, they are metabolised directly in the muscle.
iBCAA powder is suitable for anyone who wants to increase amino acids intake. Generally iBCAA’s are taken by active individuals throughout the day, before and after a workout.
Our soluble iBCAA powder is mixed instantaneously whereby 5g can be consumed with water or your chosen fruit juice.
Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 5g, shake and consume. Use 2-4 times daily.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.

As a bodybuilder who looks to progress constantly I have discovered that BCAA's are fundamental and are now a foundation supplement in my stack. A good protein, BCAA's and a good diet and you are sorted. The really help reduce DOMS after a workout! As time progresses you will notice a difference over a few weeks of supplementing with them. This type also mixes really well in water and is easy to take and add to protein shakes.Goes Well With:Protein shakes, pre-workouts or on it's own
I use this product whenever I think I need it in my pre or post workout. This is especially very helpful in the cut, otherwise you probably don't really need it. I can say that I really like lemon and lime, 4.5/5 stars!Goes Well With:Water or pre workout
Don't try lemon and lime taste because it's very very bad with lot of sweateners. The taste of these bcaa's is like to drink parfume.
Have been an avid user of the BCAA powders over the tablets for several years now and a fan of the instantised; finding they do work a lot better intra-workout. I've always gone for unflavoured - which kinda smells/tastes like musty shellfish, not expecting it to be delicious - and added sugar free squash to it. Not fantastic, but perfectly palatable. However, based on some reviews I chose to try the orange flavour, as I was getting fed up with having to always ensure I had squash. Sadly, it's one of the worst things I've ever tasted (I'm not remotely fussy!) and I still have to lug squash about me - thus not really helping. 100% recommend this fantastic product, but if you're managing okay with the unflavoured, it's probably worth sticking with that. (Has a small affect on whatever drink you add it to, nothing that terrible.) Will definitely go back to it, unless I can get sample sizes of other flavours.Goes Well With:Squashes/cordial of any flavour, takes a bit of tweaking to get best taste from it but totally worth it.
Just started to take ibcaa blue raspberry and delivery was amazing orderd Thursday evening and received Saturday morning. I have only just started takin them so can not say about the effects but it mixes very well with water and not to bad in taste with about a litre of water. Overall very pleaders with the product and very happy with my protein for how quick they got the product to me
The orange flavour tastes delicious with sugar free orange squash and actually tastes better than the squash on it's own. Grape flavour is rank though and tastes nothing like grapes and more like fruity bubble gum but not in a nice way and destroys the taste of any drink you care to mix it with... will definitely be sticking to orange flavour only in future. As for the effectiveness of ibcaa's, I play football in the evenings on an empty stomach (i.e. after 8 hours without eating anything) so take about 7 grams 30-60 minutes before and a total of 9 grams with sugar free orange squash, electrolyte powder and vitamin C powder during and immediately after. This combined with 200-300mg caffeine taken just before playing gives me lots of energy and stamina, as well as excellent recovery. If I don't take the ibcaa's then I definitely notice more fatigue while playing and slower recovery the following day. I'm 43 and this product is really effective for increased energy/stamina and enhanced recovery.Goes Well With:Sugar free orange squash
I can't believe how much this stuff helps with doms!! It tastes great too..like fizzy sweets!! :)
I've tried quite a few of MP's amino acids and so far this is the best I've had. I've always found the powders to be more effective but taste absolutely rank no matter what you mix with. Bought this in orange flavour and it's awesome, I take 2 heaped scoops as recommended with about 150-200ml of water, it mixes really well and tastes great (which I never expected). Bit of a mid-weak orange cordial flavour with very slight sherbet taste at the end, if you don't like taking massive BCAA tablets then give this a try and you won't be disappointed!Goes Well With:Water
I've recently started a fitness and meal plan which involved taking BCAAs to help with performance and recovery. I've always struggled to find whey protein that tastes nice, so I wasn't expecting anything special with this product but actually it is really easy to drink and tastes (berry blast) nice! Really pleased with it.
Mixes far better than the fermented BCAA
very sweet taste, but not unbearable, mixes well and at a great price. Goes Well With:water and training
Only just started with shakes but very impressed with the taste of this flavour.Goes Well With:Water
Tastes very good in my opinion, mixes well leaves bubbles but they disappear when left for while, Unknown benefits as just started using but seems great so far! Goes Well With:Water
Loved this product. It's the first time I've tried anything like this so I am unable to compare it to anything. But it has a great taste and mixes really good
first time using Myprotein products, I now understand why it's so much cheaper .... its the least quality product I have ever purchased. taste is unbearable. had to throw it out after a week Goes Well With:stomach abuse
I tore my muscle, so for faster recovery obtained these BCAAs. Watermelon flavour is top, grape is not bad either, but just need to be mixed with enough water. I can feel the muscle is regenerating faster. So great satisfaction here :)Goes Well With:water
Realy good mix ability and great taste,, ideal for intra workout replenishment 5 stars !!!!!😀😀😏
this mixes so much better than normal bcaa powder, definitely worth the little bit extra, taste good aswell.Goes Well With:anything
Taste and work like BCAA 2:1:1, but mixed better. But it's more expensive, if it is possible, that the best bcaa formula.Goes Well With:Water
Loving the Bcca flavours ... My second bag I'm using after loving the blueberry mix. I use 3 times a day during fasted cardio and throughout day and gym session (weighted) Results pending as only 2 weeks in but just for hydration increase its great
The berry blast taste is truly disgusting. I normally use unflavoured protein powder and just deal with it. I can't even just neck this stuff in one, makes me gag.
Great tasting flavour best one iv had so far, have it 4 times a day and believe it makes a huge difference to my workouts and the way I feel mentally, great product
I mix 3 products into juice every morning using a spoon, 5g of this, 5g Creatine Monohydrate & 4g Beta Alanine and out of them all (the one that claims to be instant) the iBCAA causes most issues with mixibility. It has a tendency to create a froth and forms small lumps, its not a big issue but just doesnt match up to its 'instant' name as much as I'd hoped. I got unflavoured as mixing with orange juice & orange flavoured creatine which masks the taste enough although the iBCAA's do alter the taste slightly. Does the job and a lot easier than taking the BCAA tablets I was taking previously however.Goes Well With:Strong flavoured juice
The taste is truly disgusting. I normally use unflavoured protein powder and just deal with it. I can't even just neck this stuff in one, makes me gag. I've tried berry blast before and that's actually not bad tasting.
Good product taste great easy to mix and i find its great for recoveryGoes Well With:Glutamine
This was the first time I had used BCAA in powder for and was really impressed by how well it mixed. Berry Blast flavour is lovely, doesn't have an overpowering or artificial taste and mixes really well. Will definitely buy again.
This iBCAA is excellent stuff. It works very well, my performance is through the roof and regeneration is not an issue when coupled with magnesium. No more cramps, no more DOMS... awesome. I bought two packs of iBCAA because I wanted to try several tastes. While both have, subjectively speaking, the same awesome effects, one tastes a lot better than the other. Orange is delicious, tasting a lot like the vitamin tablets you can dissolve in water. Blue Raspberry on the other hand is an acquired taste. While I absolutely love the colour, it tastes like some kind of chemical tartness and it's nowhere near anything raspberry. I'll definitely re-order Orange flavour and try something else instead of Blue Raspberry.Goes Well With:Water
Only been using this for 10 days or so. I will either drink 30mins pre workout or during workout then mixed with impact diet whey post workout. Took a while to get used to the taste as it's so sweet but I actually enjoy it now! Blends so easily, I've been able to mix it without a shaker. In terms of effectiveness i think it has had some effect in reducing DOMS but it's too early to say for certain. Goes Well With:Vanilla whey
Terrible flavours!!! Brought blue raspberry to begin with but it was so horrible I had to give it to a friend!! This time I brought the sour apple and once again it was horrible!!! They are way too sweet! Doesn't taste like sour apple at all. Just tastes full of sweetener!
I bought two packs of iBCAA when it was on sale. I thought I'd get something more conservative and ended up with orange. Then I went all out and got the weirdest one I could find: Blue Raspberry. Both flavours mix well and have the desired effect. So that's not even the question. With BCAA, however, the question is: Does it taste good? Because BCAA's own taste is quite horrible. Orange tastes fine, a bit like these multivitamin fizzy tablets you can get at every shop. It's masking the BCAA tartness well and it has a gnarly orange colour. Blue Raspberry... now there's a story. It looks fantastic. It's a deep blue and thus looks like absolutely nothing that would occur in nature under any circumstance. Sadly, it also tastes that way. It's not a bad taste and you can definitely get used to it, but it's far from actually being good. It tastes like chemicals, has the tartness, and is so far removed from raspberries of any colour that I'm not sure why this isn't just called "Blue Chemical Taste". It tastes a bit like bubble gum ice cream with some added sour note. But, again, it's definitely something you can get used to, if need be.Goes Well With:Water Creatine Monohydrate
Very good product, just the taste of raspberry lemonade is awful for me. I have added about 5g into 800ml and it was still too sweet.
Lemon and lime good taste,i personally add a few drops fresh lemon and have nice refreshing juice during my workout ;)Goes Well With:glutamine
Just mixed with water during a workout. Gives me a bit of a boost and some good recovery. Goes Well With:Just water.
Mixes well with water / juice of your choice. Has necessary BCAA's to fit into your diet.
IBCAA is mixing well in water, it is worth the little extra money compared to "normal" BCAA. The unflavored one does not taste well but the flavored ones I tried are all nice: Raspberry Orange Watermelon
Great product, mixes well and since I've been using it I've found I have a lot more energy in the gym (will see how effective it is at reducing muscle wastage when I start eating properly and hopefully only see fat being burned and not muscle). The first time I tried Raspberry Lemonade flavour; avoid (unless you like the taste of crushed up paracetomols and excessive sweeteners) - it's so horrible that I had to knock it down as a concentrated shot, followed by a glass of water & an espresso shot to get rid of the taste - it's almost undrinkable. Second time I opted for Berry Blast which is so much nicer - you don't buy these products for the taste but they at least have to be drinkable, which Berry blast is - not tried the others but I'll probably stick with that. I also bought the standard BCAA powder (unflavoured) which doesn't mix well, I used it in my nutribullet in smoothies and then it's fine but if you want something that mixes well with water, go for iBCAA instead.
Great tasting product. Quick delivery too. Will buy again
Love the texture and flavour... Easy to mix and drink, great in with Impact Whey Protein.Goes Well With:Glutamine unflavoured piwder
Great product for recovery and effectively managing post workout DOMS. i take BCAA religiously, this review is more to warn about sour apple flavour.....Really tastes terrible, and very synthetic - i usually get Berry. Which tastes great. Goes Well With:Water.
Excellent BCAAs which are essential for any serious athlete. High quality and effective so no complaints. 5-10g pre/during training and the same post training and you will aid your muscle gain/muscle preservation if dieting. Also great first thing in the morning for a super quick absorption of aminos when your body is in a catabolic state, although you probably don't need them if you have whey protein for your breakfast. BCAAs are one of the more expensive supplements so not one to pop like candy. You get used to the pretty bad taste (unflavoured version) after a while but otherwise just take them with something flavoured. If you opt for a flavoured version you get less BCAAs so I always go for unflavoured versions. I would not say they are instantised though because if you mix them in water with a spoon there will still be clumps. Also MP please use smaller, wider packaging - you have to stick half your arm in the bags to get to the supplements - it's the little things that make customers happy!Goes Well With:All supplements
I got this on a 50% discount offer so value for money was great. It seems to deliver a fairly immediate boost when used before/during your workout. Really easy to take as opposed to the BCAA pills which are large and uncomfortable to swallow. Probably still better with the pills at night though as they release into the system at a slower rate helping maintain protein synthesis when your slowing downGoes Well With:Impact whey
I've been taking powder BCAA for a while now. One serving in the morning which I take to work and sip during the day and one during my workout. BCAA effectiveness as its own supplement is subjective. I find it works for me to reduce the DOMS. Adding it to water during my workout also helps keep me focused. It moves 'the wall' further away so I hit it less often and that has lead to noticeable steady increases in strength as a result of my intensity improving. I avoid pre-workout powder because it makes me too anxious so this is a good compromise. I'm still getting my water (but with some nice flavour), it keeps me focused without me bouncing off the walls and as I can't always eat during work before the gym it provides enough sustenance for me to work out in a semi fasted state. iBCAA is the same ratio as the standard BCAA powder but it mixes A LOT easier. Standard BCAA itself is hardly difficult to mix (provided you use a shaker) but you do need to let it sit for a while until the film of powder on the top dissolves. iBCAA disappears almost instantly into a perfectly clear juice. It does mean it would be suitable for stirring into a glass of water if you wanted, whereas it is difficult to do that with standard BCAA powder without leaving powder clumps round the glass. As for flavour: My normal BCAA powder is Blue Raspberry, which is tasty but also too sweet if you overdo it (tastes like Bubblegum Panda Pop). For iBCAA I bought Berry Blast instead. I'm quite surprised at the flavour. I was expecting very sweet again but to me it tastes almost like Apple & Blackcurrant squash. There is sweetness but it's also a little tart/bitter too. Perfect. Even with 2 scoops it doesn't become overpowering at all. The powder comes with a small scoop. 1 small scoop = 3g of powder, which is a bit annoying as the serving is 5g. I just use 2 scoops rather than trying to be precise. That works out at a 6g serving and creates the perfect flavour.Goes Well With:Water, Pre, Post, Intra workout.
Lemon and lime taste is amazing great product
Can't comment on effectiveness as only been taking these a few days, but soluble bcaas work a treat (I've been using ehp labs for 2 months). The only issue I have with these is the taste. I went for lemon and lime and the taste is simply overpowering and far too chemical. 1 small scooper (about 2g) mixed with 2l of water is still enough to make me cringe when drinking it. Other than that, the product is great value. Goes Well With:Water, squash
I decided to buy this product as I'm training twice a day. It mixes well, works very well but the taste needs work. I got the raspberry lemonade. It's ok but needs downing if truth be told. I have noticed less DOMS and more energy though so 5/5 for effectiveness. Will be buying again but a different flavour.Goes Well With:Water & a dash of squash.
Great product, tastes great, can be sickle by itself so I will always mix with something, works a treat, recommend to any serious gym freak.Goes Well With:Juice
Dissolves really well with a quick stir of a spoon and the taste is easily disguised in squash - I prefer it in Orange Squash rather than Blackcurrent and Apple as the texture changed slighty.Goes Well With:Squash
I JUST started to use products from MyProtein, and I can tell, that I find great quality products, thats why I made 3 orders for a month. Good products, great quality. Keep doing and You will be the best)))
Really effective product, easy to mix and helps performance and recovery. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't taste that great, the more you drink the more it tastes bitter and artificial. However, this tastes isn't strong and doesn't make it undrinkable, and is totally worth it for the training advantages.
