I like that this product is made from hemp. Great for people with lactose intollerence. I like the high vitamin profile. The only issue is the mixability and taste. It tastes like I scooped up muddy water from the ground and it does not mix well at all. I do however think it doesn't taste to bad if mixed with orange juice, so try it with that and get even more vitamins :)Goes Well With:Orange juice
Great product ... mix it with some impact whey isolate and instant oats , cocoa powder , coconut water , honey and kefir . tastes good . Tje kefir is hugely pro biotic and a complete protein source also .

The first week of Hemp protein can be a bit of a challenge in terms of texture, but after that, it's fine. I was looking for a natural, plant based, pesticide/chemical free alternative to Whey, and I'm really happy with the change. The added benefit of Hemp's vitamin/mineral profile, high fibre, and Omega 3 & 6 profile make this a killer addition to my diet. Goes Well With:Patience, Water (lots)

Taste awfull as expected. But I think it is a good product. Need to take for a few more weeks to see if there are any benefits. Recomend you only take half a measure at a time. You need to be pretty hardcore to down this stuff. Great alternative to dairy and soya based protien.Goes Well With:Apple juice

As far as proteins go, this seems to be a little easier to tolerate if you don't like the sickly sweet, all in one, whey based mixes like XS or Extreme. I thought I'd give it a try as I looking for something which lent itself more to a paleo option. TBH, I actually prefer this to the other stuff I was taking (XS & Extreme). They were very sweet and had to tone them down with a spoon of powdered coffee to stomach them. Ok, so it may be a tad lighter on the protein content so take three shakes a day to make up for it. Where the XS and Extreme would play havoc with my insides this is noticeably easier. I still get a bit of gas but that's more likely from the milk I mix it with than from the product. I prefer to use milk as it makes it taste like cold pea soup. To be honest I like the taste this way and I take 3 heaped scoops a day and mix each one with about 2/3 of a pint of milk. It goes down well. Water makes it too watery and as for fruit juice, that would be just plain wrong. Think savoury and you'll be ok. Mixibility is pretty good. A tad grainy but nothing more than usual. I get the odd clump of powder stuck to the inside of my shaker lid afterwards but I shake that off with a bit of water and down it too. Results - too soon to say as it's only been a month. Goes Well With:Milk

Limited to protein shakes I can use due to intolerances. I found this one grand. The taste wasn't great but it was definitely drinkable. Better than I was expecting, I found it tasted earthy or nutty. I haven't tried mixing it with anything other than water so may find something to help it.
I brought my protein hemp protein after it was recommended to me by friends and after reading the great reviews on the site. When it arrived I put it in my bag went off to train and then put it in my shaker added water mixed up on first appearances it looked disgusting but what you would expect hemp protein to look like and then started to drink this is where the issue starts as you're drinking it there isn't really a taste but you can just fill the powder running through your mouth which feels gritty and absolutely horrible once you've finished taking a mouthful on downing it, how do you take yours the taste kicks in which is really earthy a bit nutty which a lot of people had said you could get used to I've been trying this now for three weeks and I'm still not used to have to have a second drink next to me to down afterwards to get all the leftover powder out of my mouth and the taste out my mouth I've tried water milk egg whites and orange juice have even tried putting it in my morning breakfast shake with bananas apples blueberries and Oates the taste still gets through and is disgusting!! Mixability; despite what are the reviews say mixability is Poor Flavour; very nutty very earthy not for me not for everyone be warned
When I had my first shake I was doughtfull, it didn't taste great but it wasn't bad. But after a 1kg pack the taste has grown on me and I quite like it. To my suprise it's great with milk, I mix it with a bit of dextrose for post work-outs and that tastes great to. I still haven't tried it with juice yet. I just brought the vegan belnd which I will never do again, this product it far superea in taste and mixability. I havn't been working out long enough to know how it effects performence and growth. It mixes well and doesn't effect my stomach in any bad way, neither does it make me fart while squating. Can't wait to finish my vegan blend so I can get back onto this,
Being lactose intolent and vegaterian I've been a bit limited in my choices. I've tried brown rice protein (it's grainy and doesn't agree with me), I've tried pea protein (which is ok) and even mixed the two (it's supposed to give a better amino acid balance) but hemp protein was the only protein I've tried which is easily digested and has noticable results. Yes, as others have said, it has a strong nutty / earthy flavour but once you get over the unusual flavour it's the best out there for vegans.Goes Well With:I stick with water!
