I now have 6 of these flavours, and I'd reccommend them to anyone. First started out with the typical 3, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. Vanilla is a classic and I put it in loads of things, mug cakes, oats, and baking to subsidise sugar. Strawberry is gorgeous and mixed with my unflavoured protein it tastes exactly like a Yazoo. The chocolate is probably my least favourite, just because it doesn't really taste of chocolate more just like a sickly sweeter version of vanilla with a hint of fake chocolate. I then got the toffee, raspberry and banana. The toffee is gorgeous, makes the best banoffee oats with it, and the raspberry I thought would be similar to strawberry is actually a bit more tangy, exactly like a raspberry is in real life. The banana is a bit lacking, but still very drinkable. They mix extremely well and I'd reccommend it to anyone thinking of buying, gives you loads more choice when deciding what protein shake flavour to have rather than being committed to 5kg of one flavour! All in all a great product that myprotein does, and although the bottles are small because the liquid is so concentrated you do only need a few drops to get the flavour.
I have used these drops for over a year now and they are great. Taste and utility are spot on BUT the packaging has changed. The fabulous pipette (dropper, great for precision of counting drops) has been replaced with, well, a small hole (have to squeeze/shake the bottle or wait for gravity). The small hole is terrible: inaccurate; very hard to get the right amount squeezed consistently; messy bottle; messy fingers; messy cupboard; you can't really take it with you anymore because its so darn messy. Please please please bring back the pipette......... please.Goes Well With:Fat free yog Porridge Coffee
I am a big fan of the Toffee and Maple Syrup flavours, however I hate the new bottles- you used to get a pipette bottle but it is now a squeezy bottle ( noticed they have only done this with the toffee variety so far) I have noticed a lot more wastage as it leaks, but also you cannot as accurately regulate the amount you are putting in and consequently the flavour. Please go back to the pipette!Goes Well With:porridge, greek yoghurt, pancakes
I have tried the Toffee, Strawberry, White Chocolate, Maple, Raspberry and Vanilla flavours - and that's also the order I would rank them in terms of flavour. As many reviewers have said, Toffee is amazing. It has a really true flavour with very little aftertaste - I use it in: - Skyr/Fage Total yoghurt. REALLY brings out the creaminess . - Loads of Protein Pow recipes such as the peanut butter cheesecake, YUM. - In coffee, 11 drops instead of granulated sweetener, for that Starbucks syrup taste. - Myprotein unflavoured whey, with a bit of milk and baking soda, chucked in the microwave. GORGEOUS I've bought some for my friend because I love it so much! The Strawberry is pretty much on-par with toffee, beautiful with yoghurt, tastes exactly like the ones you'd buy in the supermarket. White Chocolate is gorgeous too - I'd maybe knock off a few % because it's not as 'flavoursome' as the first two - it is very sweet but a bit subtler with the white chocolate flavour. Maple is delicious, and a close replacement for Toffee if you run out (which I did). The 'mapleness' is noticeable and goes amazingly with cinnamon. It's almost on-par with the others. Raspberry is nice, it tastes identical in yoghurt to typical supermarket ones, meaning it's got a slight bitter tang to it, not as purely sweet as Strawberry. But it has its place - you can put a drop or two into cloudy lemonade for example! Finally, Vanilla is ok, it's a lot more bland than the others for me, and maybe has a bit of an aftertaste. It's definitely not equatable to vanilla essence or extract, it just tastes 'sweet'. I wouldn't buy this again.Goes Well With:Skyr, Fage Total yoghurt, coffee, unflavoured Impact Whey Isolate, Milk, all manner of cakes, biscuits etc, cheesecake, fizzy drinks, etc etc.
Previously had Toffee which was amazing. I thought I'll try peanut butter. Huge mistake. It's absolutely horrible. Smells like hospital ward. Had to throw it in the bin. :(Goes Well With:The Bin
Got the toffee flavour and I love it! The taste is a bit artificial when tasted for the first time, but I got used to it. I put it to my morning porridge and it's definitely like thousand times better. Cant wait to try another flavours! I am just disappointed that strawberry and raspberry ones contain carmine, so it is not suitable for veg people.
Great product! Please bring back the pipette though :)Goes Well With:Soya milk
The new dispenser ruins it! Obviously made so you use more of the product and you need to re order quicker. Bring back the dropper!
Firstly the actual flavouring is very, very good. I use the strawberry flavour to mix with greek yougurt quickly on the go when I don't have fruits and all to go with it, and it's great, tastes as good as any shop bought, full of chemicals yougurt out there. But... THE NEW BOTTLES ARE AWFUL!!! It use to come in a bottle with a pipette which was clean, tidy and efficient. Unfortunately now; I presume to save money, it comes in a dropper bottle, one in my experience that either gives you nothing, so you squeeze a bit... nothing... a bit more... nothing... a firm squeeze... 5x times too much gushes out, leaving you with a nuclear tasting yogurt... think of the all syrup super squish from Simpsons if you are a nerd like me, but without the hallucinogenic upside. On top of that it is extremely messy. Because I use strawberry my hands tend to look like I've been working in a butcher after trying to use it, I even ended up with some on my radiator the other day and I have no idea how, it looked like a scene from Dexter. The problem is the dropper doesn't stop as soon as you stop squeezing, it remains on the tip and just seems to get everywhere, my screw top cap is half red now :( I have a 100ml bottle and with the extra I don't want and the bits that get everywhere, I reckon I will use about 30ml for the actual purpose! i use to use every last drop from the pipette bottles. It's a real shame cause I really do love this product and it's made getting protein and eating healthy while busy and on the move so much easier, but I don't know if I can keep using it after this batch down to the awful packaging.Goes Well With:Fage Greek Yougurt
I LOVE these flavourings! Have tried most of them, my favourites are maple, white chocolate, toffee and peanut butter (when mixed with a chocolate favoured protein). I generally use it in my porridge with unflavoured casein every morning. I love the product but really don't like the new packaging as it doesn't close properly and licks everywhere. The older one with the drop counter was 10 times better.Goes Well With:porridge and casein
As you may or may not know, the unflavoured whey protein is extremely bland and tastes a lot like diluted off milk! Proper disgusting! Then I came across these little gems. At first I tried the caramel flavour which was sickly sweet, then moved on to peanut butter which was great at first, but I grew tired of it as it was too artificial for me. Finally I tried the banana flavour which is what I've stuck with for a while. Its the best!! Its sweet but not too sweet, and when mixed with My Protein's Whey Protein Isolate, it tastes like a banana milkshake. My protein intake has improved greatly with these. I couldn't stomach unflavoured WPI and most of the time I couldn't entirely complete the 4KG pouch, which resulted in me throwing it away. I don't like using flavoured whey due to the extra unnecessary ingredients that adds no effect to my training. These are great for controlling how sweet you want your shakes, or whatever you use them for. I used to pinch my nose and gag whilst gulping down unflavoured whey on its own, now with the banana flavdrops I'm left wanting more.Goes Well With:Whey Protein Isolate. Greek yoghurt.
I have about 5 powder flavourings and 6 or 7 of the drops. I prefer the drops as they are less sweet than the powders although the powders are probably better value for money although the drops are not exactly expensive. My favourite of the drops so far are the toffee (fool proof in anything) Strawberry and maple syrup so far, Vanilla is ok although I find it a bit boring (personal taste) the ones I find a bit disappointing are the banana as its got that kind of sharp un-natural flavour, and I find the peanut butter one just totally rank, tried it once and it'll be getting binned I think. My favourite of the powders are the Latte, I love the Rubarb and Custard too but it does have a nasty aftertaste. My Protein definitely has the most vast options in flavours in the drops and powders and when I am trying to lose weight I just mix them with coconut milk and a bit of Xanthan Gum and Konjac, a sweet snack for next to no calories. On a different note....I am so happy to see My Protein is starting to make more things with Stevia and hopefully this will be used in more of their products soon!
I have the strawberry and vanilla. But would love to see almond, gingerbread and pumpkin spice 😁Goes Well With:Anything
I bought the strawberry one and the flavour is amazing! I'm really fussy, and this is perfect! The only problem is - like everyone says - the stupid bottle! Leaks everywhere, and very nearly on my cream carpet. SORT IT OUT!Goes Well With:Unflavoured impact whey
Adds unbelievable flavour to everything I have tried them with. Perfect for adding flavour without adding extra calories. Will be trying more flavours soon. My preference; #1 Chocolate peanut butter #2 Toffee #3 StrawberryGoes Well With:Yogurts, coffee, protein pancakes, oats..
Love this product in my coffee but really miss the old bottle and old dropper. This new bottle tends to leak. Goes Well With:Coffee
I love these. They're so incredible and are amazing for diets and that sweet tooth. I couldn't do without them - but I have to knock off a star for the pipettes. Please bring them back - the new top is messy and you lose so much product from the mess. So gutted when they changed these. You definitely don't need 7-10 drops. About 3-4 does the job. I have tried : Raspberry - good but tangy. Less is more. Chocolate - more just tastes sweet. Not really a chocolate flavour Chocolate & peanut butter - PB is too overwhelming. Very strong and the smell turns you off. Strawberry - perfect. Really tasty and a good level of sweetness! Vanilla - quite strong. Again, less is more. Banana - my favourite. Strong but really banana flavoured! Goes Well With:Tea, hot chocolate, Greek yoghurt, chia seed breakfast, smoothie bowls.
Great flavours and taste but please, please, please bring back the pipette. The new drip bottles are awful.Goes Well With:Everything that needs flavouring :)
Have used these for years and love then however the new bottles are awful and much preferred the one that came with the pippett.
Love these drops I use them in everything!! I add them to porridge, green tea, smoothies, shakes, plain yoghurt/quark to make the taste more interesting. My favourites are the chocolate peanut butter and the White chocolate. They are both amazing i just wish these flavours came in the stevia version. I also use the stevia strawberry and raspberry for smoothies as I prefer it that they are natural ones. Goes Well With:Everything!
Bought toffee flavdrops to use with unflavored impact whey isolate. I have used them to make banoffee porridge and shakes - both have been flavorsome. It really tastes and smells like toffee.
I recently purchased the White chocolate and vanilla flavours to add to my coffee, yogurt and porridge. Even adding just 6 drops privides a strong sweet - but not sickly - flavour and makes my food seem so much more indulgent! I only gave it 4 stars simply because if you are not careful, then you end up wasting some of it since it's easy to squeeze the bottle too hard and add more drops than intended. But other than that, I would definitely recommend these and I'll be buying more flavours soon!
I bought the Banana, Toffee and Strawberry, the banana is by far my favourite. Delicious flavour and not at all artificial, I am a little obsessed with this one at the moment. The toffee is my least favourite, artificial and very sweet, the strawberry is okay more bitter strawberry and you really do not need many drops. Dropping the mix can be a bit tricky squeeze to hard and it comes shooting out! As a whole definitely worth giving a go. Goes Well With:Natural Yoghurt, Milk
I use these in Porridge as a sugar substitute and have started using them more often in things like, baking, smoothies etc. Very very sweet (as they are made of Sucralose) but a few drops go a very long way. Mixes in to things really well and you will not be able to believe how little give such a strong flavour. I've got Stevia (strawberry) - which I love! And also Toffee and Vanilla. All taste great and these are a good way to get different flavours of protein from just mixing with unflavoured whey. The old little bottles used to have a pipette which was excellent. These now come in a squeezy bottle - big mistake. So so messy (as another reviewer has pointed out). Bring back the pipette!Goes Well With:Everything, oats, baking, cookies, tea, coffee!
Have purchased this several times. Really useful for sticking into coffee, yoghurt, porridge etc. Lasts for ages - much longer then shop-bought granulated sweeteners - so good value for money. Toffee and banana - both great. Not keen on the chocolate which basically just tastes sweet but artificial and not much like chocolate. Please bring back the old bottle design, with the pipette. The new bottle makes it almost impossible to measure out just a couple of drops, as the liquid splurges out which is wasteful and spoils the food or drink you're trying to sweeten. Goes Well With:Porridge, yoghurt, coffee.
I love these Flav drops!! The toffee flavour is so nice added to Greek yogurt. I eat it nearly every day. Saves me from eating more sugar by putting agave nectar or honey on it instead. I love the taste, not fake at all.Goes Well With:Greek yogurt
Amazing for making black coffee more interesting. Good value for money as a little bit goes a long way. Even the banana works in coffee!Goes Well With:Coffee, yoghurt, oats.
I have been buying flavdrops for a long time now and I never had any complaints about them. It's great for putting in baking, coffee, oats, yogurts... But my recent order came and there's no pipette instead there's a little dropper type thing in the neck of the bottle. It's now extremely messy and a lot of product waste. I'm disappointed in the new packaging.Goes Well With:Unflavoured protein, oats, yogurts, baking
These are amazing and I use them every single day! Makes healthy eating easy and a perfect way to quit sugar! Only downside is they no longer come with a pipette which was so much better!Goes Well With:Shakes Coffee Porridge Natural yogurt Much more
I am a huge fan of the toffee flavour and can't have my coffee without it, but the new packaging has made it unusable. It is very difficult to get the right quantity out and the bottle leaks everywhere. BRING BACK THE PIPETTE PLEASE Goes Well With:Coffee!
First time buyer of flavdrops. Went with the safe option of vanilla to start with and well what can I say, goes amazingly in a black coffee. Would usually have to sweeteners with milk but with this product a few drops is all that is needed to sweeten. Will definitely be purchasing again! Goes Well With:Black coffee
Firstly, it is amazing and brilliant that these can be made with zero calories, I don't know how they do it! I add them to a smoothie which has konjac noodles, a banana, a pear, Rice Dreams rice milk, and water. I also use them in puddings, made to the same recipe, but with Guam gum in to thicken it. Toffee - This is one of my favourites and really tastes like toffee. Chocolate - this should be called chocolate liquor flavour l because it has a distinct taste of chocolate liquor. I find that this is also the case with the Zero chocolate and chocolate fudge flavour syrups. Chocolate Stevia - this also has a strong chocolate liquor flavour. Chocolate & Peanut Butter - This lastes less of liquor, but the nutty flavour is a bit overpowering, and not quite peanut butter flavour. The nutty flavour and scent also seems to stay in your mouth and nose for a long time afterwards. Strawberry - This is another of my favourites, it tastes like the delicious strawberry syrup that my local ice cream van company puts on their ice creams. Raspberry - This does taste of raspberries and is quite nice. Banana - The banana is very nice and one of my favourites. It tastes like bananas flavoured sweets. Vanilla - It has an anaseed like taste, but it does taste like vanilla. I will definitely buy the toffee, strawberry and banana again. Goes Well With:Rice milk/smoothies/shakes/puddings/yoghurts
This was most disappointing. I've used the normal vanilla, strawberry, and toffee flavourings and been delighted every time. The strawberry stevia flavour is another matter. It comes in a rather unsettling clear liquid and tastes incredibly bitter with no strawberry flavor. I would steer clear of the stevia flavours and stick to the wonderful normal range. Goes Well With:The bin.
I tend to use unflavoured products as I like to avoid bulking agents, flavourings and colourings and it makes stacking supplements far easier. But when I started using a supplement with a particularly strong and unpleasant flavour I relented. I tried the Strawberry, Toffee and Maple flavours on a three-for-two offer. The recommended dose of seven to ten drops is not particularly effective. Even with unflavoured Whey or Casein, which taste of watered down milk alone, you'll need more than ten drops to taste much and trying to mask something more will take more. But all these flavours are nice (toffee is the best, followed by the nor dissimilar maple) and I've also mixed strawberry with maple and that works well. I will be back for more.Goes Well With:Anything unflavoured or bad tasting.
So the actual taste of the flavdrops was NOTHING like peanut butter which really really disappointed me however it definitely does flavour things very well (whatever the taste may be.. because it defo isn’t pb!) and it does mix well - hoping to try some different flavours as it may just be this flavour that's a dud. Overall, it is a good product, just maybe not a good flavour. It also smelt quite chemically as well which again, could be the flavour more than anything.
tried 3 flavours now, toffee, maple and stevia apple. Toffee is definitely the nicest, maple and apple are ok, just not as flavorsome as the toffee.Goes Well With:porridge, yogurt, protein shakes
I use it in my breakfast, with oatmeal and milk. The white choclate flavor tastes the best! It's super intense just with a few drops. I really recommend using those to add a little more flavor to your diet.
Literally the best invention since sliced bread, deep into a recomposition phase of my training which mean calorie restriction and these bad boys are seeing me right through!!! Can't recommend the peanut butter flavour enough❤️❤️❤️... Seriously stop reading reviews and buy now, you won't be sorryGoes Well With:0% Greek yoghurt
Just ordered in strawberry flavour, and it tastes amazing, I could smell it all day. I mix it with everything, great with yogurt or unflavoured protein powders. I will definitely order some more.Goes Well With:yoghurt, protein powder
My personal trainer told me about Flav Drops and suggested I give them a try as I have a terrible sweet tooth and am struggling to lose those last few pounds. I sent off for Toffee, Maple Syrup and Mocha. They arrived very quickly and I couldn't wait to try some out in Greek Yogurt. I put just 4 drops into a good 3 tablespoons of fat free plain yogurt and took a tentative taste - delicious! Tried out the other two at once and, yep, both scrummy! I'm delighted. It will be perfect in porridge and loads of other otherwise boring sensible food. I'm really thrilled. A great product, reasonably priced, rapidly despatched and totally delicious!Goes Well With:Porridge, plain yogurt, milk (hot or cold) and no doubt zillions of other things I have not yet had a chance to try!
I love everything about this product - for me the maple syrup flavour is true and mixes well in my unflavoured protein/ black coffee - I find all the other protein flavours way too sweet and this allows some control over how empowering the taste it - the only reason I have dropped a star on the review is I am very conscious of my food/supplements being natural and organic and this doesn't feel like a very natural product just because it's manufactured etc other than that I would highly recommend it!! Goes Well With:Deadlifts
i recently bought an unflavoured whey protein, i was not keen on the taste that it gave. I looked up on how to make it tastier and i found this! The FlavDrops are amazing! I bought the Strawberry one which tastes outstanding. I am very pleased that this kind of products exists! The smell and taste that the FlavDrop gives is incredible. Would recommend 10/10. Well worth the price. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein (Unflavoured) Instant Oats (Unflavoured)
Not impressed with chocolate. Vanilla more like sweetner. Toffee...lush! :-)
Not impressed with chocolate, vanilla more like sweetner. Toffee...lush! :-)
I have a HUGE sweet tooth, I used to use honey as a 'healthy' alternative which did work really well in most things! However, it wasn't the greatest mixer (especially in drinks) so I came across these flavour drop which work wonders. They mix in practically EVERYTHING, porridge, hot chocolate, cakes, yoghurt (best one), milk (tastes just as good as milkshake but not nearly as many calories). Best thing ever is toffee yoghurt. Just add a couple of drops(about 7) into some FF yoghurt (200g) and it tastes just as good as the high calorie naughty stuff. Will definitely be buying these again!!Goes Well With:Yoghurt, Porridge, Cottage Cheese, Ice Cream, Milk, Hot beverages
Great product, the strawberry and toffee drops are immense. A few drop make unflavoured shakes a delight.
These drops are amazing with yoghurt. My PT put an eating plan together for me, which included 0% natural yoghurt (fage brand). It's almost sour, so he told me about these drops. I decided to buy some and give it a go and they're absolutely brilliant. They have completely transformed my yoghurt. It's exactly like eating strawberry yoghurt. I add about 6 drops to the tub (170ml), which is perfect. Really tastes very good. I also bought the toffee flavour for my porridge in the morning. I really like the flavour, but the taste the sweetener quite strongly, which isn't brilliant. I now add some banana and cinnamon to the porridge with the toffee drops, which seems to have taken the artificial sweetener taste away but left the flavour. Now it's amazing. Really changes the taste. Oddly, the strawberry doesn't seem to have the artificial sweetener taste in the yoghurt. I use 10 drops of the toffee in my porridge and that's the perfect amount. I would highly recommend these drops. The apple is apparently also lovely in yoghurt, so I've been told, but I haven't tried it yet. Goes Well With:Yoghurt and porridge.
Right been buying these for some time with unflavoured protein . I would very recommend as they taste great so far iv tryed strawberry . Rasberry . Bannana and chocolate I would say out of them banana is thr best followedby sstrawberry and Rasberry . Unfortunately I would not recommend chocolate because it doesnt taste nice at all . Doesn't evan taste like chocolate either
I bought toffee which is excellent, so much that I bought another 3. It has a natural toffee flavour. I got apple and raspberry too on second order. I find the raspberry more like the raspberry syrup you put on a whippy icecream cone so personal I'm not a big fan as I flavour Greek yogurt and shakes. If you like the syrup, you're in luck. The apple is like appletiser lemonade. It's quite synthetic flavour but it's ok to flavour protein pancakes. I would def recommend the toffee. I goes great with shakes, yogurt, protein fluff, tea/coffee and most baked products like cheesecake.
Buying these is the best decision I've made, never going back to flavoured protein. Mixed with just Impact Whey Protein (unflavoured so saving on money) and water tastes like a milkshake, plus you can have multiple flavours for a different shake each day. I've got quite a few so here's a review of each: Strawberry: Probably the best of the lot, go for a few flavours so you can mix it up, but definitely include this one. Toffee: Great on its own (even better mixed with banana for banoffee flavour (please bring out a Dulce de Leche flavoured one MyProtein)); a little sweet if too much used on own. Banana: Same as for toffee. Raspberry: Very good although I prefer strawberry. Vanilla: Good mixed with other flavours (and in coffee); not so great on its own. Chocolate: avoid at all costs - it is awful (unless you add cocoa powder as well but better off getting the pre-flavoured protein if you really want chocolate).Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein, Water, Milk (optional)
