What is Exceed?
Exceed is an advanced blend of amino acids containing Branched Chain Amino Acids (L Leucine, L Isoleucine and L Valine), Beta Alanine, Citrulline Malate and Vitamin B5, making Exceed one of the most advanced non-stimulant strength, endurance and energy supplement on the market.
Exceed has over 17g of protein per 20g serving which contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. The added electrolytes will enhance the absorption of water during physical exercise and contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise.
Who is Exceed Suitable for?
Exceed is the ideal supplement for anyone taking part in physical exercise and looking to increase their intake of essential amino acids with added electrolytes.
Add 250ml of water into our shaker (the less water the stronger the flavour will be). Then add 20g, shake and consume. Use 1-3 times daily. For optimal results we recommend using before and during your workout.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. This product is a food supplement and therefore should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of young children.

I use this as an intra workout due to the large amount of BCAA. I find it helps with recovery and tastes pretty good though the berry is a little too tart and the tropical could be a stronger. A splash of squash fixes this though a flavour like lemon and lime would be a nice addition to the range.Goes Well With:Caffeine powder
I haven't written a review before, but this product is so good I had to! I'd not weight trained properly for about 6 months, since my son was born. I'd done a fair bit of HIIT during that time, but my return lifting sessions left me absolutely destroyed, before I'd even finished all my sets. I decided that I needed a pre and intra supplement to help me through these sessions, but didn't want anything with stimulants in as it makes me jittery and messes with my sleep. I've been using this stuff for 4 weeks, my lifts have gone up each week and I feel like I have loads more energy and focus every single set. I keep a track of weights and reps for each session and the progress I've made in such a short time has been great. It's not a miracle product by any means and you need to rest and eat right, but it's really helped me to nail every workout so far. Give it a try! Goes Well With:Solid workout plan, plenty of rest, protein and a balanced diet.
Great product for morning fasted training, all the required ingredients and tastes great.
This is reasonably priced but unfortunately I don't think it's as effective as I would like. It tastes great (berry blast) and I possibly do have a bit more endurance on the days I take it, but I'm not sure I'll get it again.Goes Well With:creatine
I use this product as a 'pick me up' rather than a preworkout. I find myself in work dependent on high caffeine drinks such as Red Bull to give me a lift, the Exceed drink does that for me. It is very easily mixed and tastes just like juice. i have also doubled the scoops and used as a preworkout as a change to my usual Pulse and found it to be very affected.
Haven't found a better product to aid fatigue & recovery
really good as an intra workout supplement with the amount of Bcaas in and decent amount of citrulline and beta alanine, helps workout intensity and recovery. also taste's pretty decent.Goes Well With:creatine
Good product. Needs a scoop which is the same size as the suggested serving, not just a protein scoop. I was wired! !
After many years taking the supplement Xtend by scivation, I opted for something more realistic to budget, "Exceed" I can feel all the same benifits as the more expensive product, the only fault would be the quality of the taste and the variety of flavours compared to Xtend.Goes Well With:Training!
Good value for money and good quality ingredients. I use this all the time intro workout
I was recommended this. I feel I need a protein shake after a work out for recovery. But I also like a meal after the gym as I tend to go late in the evening. This product means I am getting some of the benefits of a protein shake without the calories, and I'm still able to have a meal after training.
Only ever used water before during a workout, but this stuff gets me though the full workout or class. I don't collapse at the end now!!! Can be a little bit grainy towards the end, but if you give it the odd shake then it keeps it mixed upGoes Well With:Water and a good workout!
Flavour is a little bit too sweet, and first time i took it, i did it with not very cold water and it almost made me throw up. Since then, i always took it with cold water, had no more problems. I can notice an increase in focus during training, and nice resistance for that one last repetition... Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein
just started using exceed 2 weeks in now, have found i recover much quicker, using heavier weight. My breathing is much better not as heavy. don't feel I want the sugary snacks as much. Taste is good like the tropical storm fells a bit weird drinking the bubbles and 15mins after drinking tingles on backs of hands and front of thighs not uncomfortable though. Goes Well With:water
Does what it say it does. I feel more awake during my workouts and I'm fairly sure it's helping me recover from my DOMS faster whilst I'm on a low-carb diet. I get a bit tingly/pins and needles in the back of my hand about 30 mins after taking it, but that's just a side effect of the beta-alanine and nothing to worry about.Goes Well With:protein smoothie or water
Now this is all you need to MAX out your workout performance!!! Great taste, great combination of supplements wtih Exceed you just can't miss that PR you are aiming at :) Really is a great thing to add to your supplement base, if you can afford it.Goes Well With:Creapure, Impact Whey, Pulse V4, BCAA 4:1:1
Overall good product but if mixed to what it say on the packet get ready for a hit of sweetness, personally I mix a full shaker to half a scoop as one is too much and overpowering. The stuff takes about 15 mins to kick in on a empty stomach i personally use it just before and while training to notice best effects.
I'm a fan of this product - I have it in "tropical storm" flavor. Tastes good, mixes with minimum effort and seems to help my workout if drunk before or during. Not sure if placebo effect, but either way it seems to improve my endurance when lifting
good product for what i wanted to do. need somthing without any stimulants and creatine.this is a good product for what it is. Good for the eductaed gym user who knows what they are taking.
Got this to preserve muscle while cutting. So far so good. Mixes well and tastes good.
in the nutritional info it is specified that it contains 17,4 g protein, the same amount of amino acids it contains. does it have protein also ? or is it actualy the aminos? because 1g amino is not equal to 1g protein.
Took the tropical and it tastes amazing. Mixes without effort in a water bottle. The liquorice aftertaste is perfect. Gets you pumped when taken 30min before and during the workout. Add some extra citrulline and beta alanine if you prefer, but this already gives you the extra pump and tingle you need for a furious workout. No stimulants, no crashes - only the real deal with BCAAs. If you buy two products, take this and some whey and get to the gym!Goes Well With:AAKG, maltodextrin, water
Very please with this product. Was looking for something non-stimulant to take before/during fasted training and am quite pleased with Exceed. Feel like it supports my workout instead of dominating it, as many pre-workouts do (which in my opinion, lead to a kind of dependence to a product over time). Also very please about no "proprietary blends", all the ingredients and dosages are clearly labeled. Been search for a product like this for a long time.
Good product, using as a low carb alternative to sports drinks during training and matches. Taste is good although I dilute more than it suggests. Feel good from using it.
Currently in peak of speed development phase for Duathlon. Gets me going every day, lets me keep going day after day, its why i use it especially as my partner is a veggie, so i get no meat, little diary / egg etc.
I've used a lot of stimulant based pre- workouts and always got on quite well with them so I found this a little strange you definitely don't get the same buzz from this.. but it definitely works... somehow...do take it as pre and intra like suggested, I found giving it at least 40 mins before training really lets it take affect. I'm trying to bulk at the moment so I'm lifting quite heavy and I'm being fat and lazy with my cardio but this is helping me through the type of work outs I'm doing now.. doesn't taste amazing... but I've had worse.Goes Well With:ice cold water helps it go down..
Exceed mixes better than anything else I've used, it tastes pretty good and is super cheap. It does give a great energy boost but you need to time it right or take a spare with you as I tend to crash towards the end of the session.Goes Well With:Creatine Monohydrate and Impact Whey
Exceed is an excellent pre-workout for the money and works in well with intermittent fasting diet!
Doesn't feel as intense as some of the other products I have used. It's a bit more subtle. But as soon as I get warned up I find myself lifting heavier weights for longer. This "could" be psychological. But it seems to work well for me either way. Goes Well With:Weight gain extreme 1 hour before workout. Impact whey after workout.
Wow! Loved the effect this had on my endurance during a pretty intense workout. It got me so revved up I even ended up doing extra cardio. The taste however is another thing. I'm finding it extremely sweet, and unlike the other reviewer, I would enjoy this much more if it were a little bit more sour, like real berries.
I find MP Exceed highly effective product since it consists of substances that really work and has no unnecessary stuff. Gives a great pump, replenishes you with necessary electrolytes - what more do you need in gym? Excellent product for a relatively small price. The taste could be better though, but we are men, not children, so this should not concern you too much.Goes Well With: Creatine, taurine, caffeine, taurine etc
Noticed a big difference in my muscular endurance and it gave me a nice tingly feeling. Unfortunately it tastes very sour but it's worth the taste for training benefits. Makes a nice change from pre workouts that are filled with caffeine . Goes Well With:Water and fast drinking
Exceed gives great results and has a nice taste.
Worse pre workout ever in my opinion!
It's great for pre- or intra workout!
I used to use n.o. Xplode v2.0, thought I would give this Exceed a go, it seems to be effective. I tend to use 1 mp small scoop before my workout and 1 mp small scoop in a flask during the workout. It seems quite effective. I will probably buy it again.
Whilst this does give you a the feeling of more energy and bring alertness to your body, the pre-workout doesn't quite give you a buzz that lasts the workout. However as far as value for money (and no caffeine), the product is very good and cheaper than mixing your own pre-workout.Taste is fine. Mixes well. Quite effective (could be better).Goes Well With:HIT
Being someone who trains better fasted this is a must for me. I follow the renegade diet and this calls for 10g bcaa pre workout. Exceed is excellent for this, hitting what I need with some extra benefits in there to. I train for strength/powerlifting and I hit PR's with only this in my system when I train (besides a coffee) It has bcca in obviously so this never has/will mix all that great but besides the bcca mixing is great! it's priced well even when full rrp.
Well I've had this Exceed for about 6 gym sessions, and I'm in there for 2 hours, 3 times a week. Doing 2-3 muscle groups, with 6 exercises per muscle group at 5 sets, with heavy weights for mass gains. And well, I have so much energy at the end that I don't want to stop doing more, I have to force myself to stop as I don't want to over-train. So I go home feeling like I didn't give it my all, but the next day. I'm in so much pain, I can still feel my chest workout from 6 days ago, and my biceps from 2 days ago are still extremely sore. I highly recommend this product. Goes Well With:Water
I've never used pre workout supplements before (except for a one off try of a friend's different branded product) but wanted to try something that would give me the extra energy and endurance in the gym to really make the most of my time and effort. This product does the job. I get much more from workouts now as I last longer, squeeze out more reps and do more exercises per workout. However, side effects include extra sweating and a very unpleasant prickly skin sensation if you don't begin working out almost immediately. Especially on the arms and scalp. Feels like prickly heat. Taste is fine but mixability is very poor in my batch. Even using an electric hand blender I have to spend several constant minutes on high power to get it mixed properly, and even then there is always some grains left. I will finish the bag as it does what I need and I've paid for it, but I won't be purchasing it again. Goes Well With:Water.
Exceed is a good product. It's helped with my energy levels whilst training and particularly with doing cardio after a weight session. It's not the greatest taste but there's a lot worse out there. It mixes well too.
Exceed is very good, it gives me a big boost in the gym. The berry blast taste could be better.
I had high hopes for this product, after seeing the high star rating. I was split between pulse v4 and this product, having tried the pulse v4 before I kind of knew what to expect from a pre workout supplement. However, after using the whole bag im fairly disappointed. I only got one real boost after taking this through the course, which is a shame, considering the price. After reading other reviews I see that the tingling sensation on the skin wasnt just me, it was like a hot, itchy tingling sensation, not good. yet, the topical storm was really tasty.
Exceed is my second best supplement just after whey protein. For people who are looking for BCAAs but with some extra caffeine-free energy, this is it. It's a fantastic product overall. I bought 2 more pouches myself and I'm using this supplement when I break my intermittent fast before the gym so I don't lose any muscle mass. It's highly recommended for those who wish to reduce carbohydrates in their diet.Goes Well With:Coffee, creatine
I chose the tropical storm flavour of Exceed and to put it bluntly, it's horrific. It made me gag! It really doesn't do anything for me performance wise either. I'll be going back to Pulse V4 for certain and won't be using Exceed again.
The taste of Exceed isn't too bad. I was surprised by the serving size compared to BCAAs on their own meaning I get less servings per pack than expected but I can't complain since it's on the website. It mixes fine with water. But do not mix it with whey powder, it turns into a foam that triples in volume and takes ages to get down!
Exceed is a little hard to mix and tastes very strong but not unpleasant. It can cause a little stomach upset until you get used to it. I've used it a few times for longer runs (12+ miles) and have definitely noticed less fatigue and less post exercise stiffness. I've not used it for weights etc. yet so I can't comment on that aspect.
Exceed works - I guess that's the most important thing! The Berry Blast flavour is OK, it's drinkable, but it's certainly not what I'd class as enjoyable. It mixed OK, but can be a bit granular and sharp to taste. I'll definitely finish the pouch, and probably buy again, but the taste could certainly be better. Goes Well With:Hurricane XS
I needed a bit more energy in the gym, and Exceed is the product to provide it. It's highly recommended.
Exceed does what it says on the tin basically. The berry blast flavour isn't the best. It doesn't mix very well at all, once you've finished the serving you get a lot of residue at the bottom of your shaker. I'll finish the pouch but I won't be buying it again.
