Phosphate supplements have been used for a number of years by elite athletes looking to improve stamina and endurance whilst delaying the on-set of fatigue. Generally most suitable for anyone performing continual exercise over 30 minutes, Di Potassium Phosphate is a salt form of Phosphate which is recognised for its high bio-availability.
Phosphates are known to play vital roles in the metabolism of energy within both aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Phosphates are used by the body to produce ATP and CP which are both invaluable sources of explosive energy. Improving your body's ability to produce ATP and CP encourages greater execution of powerful movements such as sprinting and lifting weights. Phosphates are also used during the formation of a compound called 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) which assists in the release of oxygen from haemoglobin into your muscle cells. A high presence of 2,3-DPG improves the delivery of oxygen to your working muscles, resulting in an improved VO2max and aerobic capacity. The metabolism of fats and carbohydrates for energy can also be improved through supplementing of Phosphate salts.
One of the major effects of Phosphate supplementation is its ability to buffer lactic acid production. Lactic acid is known to reduce physical output during exercise, reducing the effect of lactic acid can greatly improve physical endurance. In addition to the reduced levels of lactic acid, studies have also shown Phosphate supplementation can lower the rating of perceived exertion (RPE) during exercise. Not only can Di Potassium Phosphate have a profound physiological effect on exercise, it can also help you psychologically - by making exercise feel easier.
As Phosphates can improve the metabolism of fat for energy, it may be beneficial to use Di Potassium Phosphate in conjunction with Acetyl L-Carnitine.
As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 1g, 4 times daily evenly spread throughout the day for the best results.
Add half of an MP small scoop (1g) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately. Best consumed on an empty stomach.

"As a powerlifter that does heavy 80-90% sets of singles, doubles, and triples, this supplement has been amazing. Whereas before my recovery between such sets would be 4-5 minutes, its now about 2 minutes. I take the tip of a tsp in my workout drink.
