I bought the tropical flavour, and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted, couldn't mask it with anything, even the smell of the powder made me gag! So I binned that and got the unflavoured, add it to my protein shake and you cant tell the difference, or just add to a shot of water or bit of squash and it's really easy to take, it doesn't taste of anything. The unflavoured does also seem to mix quite well with a shake which is good. As for the effectiveness, it's always hard to tell as with all these things, but after a couple of weeks it seemed to "kick in", and I'm lifting way heavier than expected. Highly recommend this just to add to daily shakes, it's not expensive and as said the unflavoured is unnoticeable so you might as well. I'll stop after 8 weeks, but will definitely use again after my period off, and will NEVER EVER by a flavoured version again!!
Good cheap form of standard creatine. Usually mix 5g with apple juice pre-workout and 5g with whey post-workout, non-workout days I'll add 5g to the morning shake. Can give a salty texture if you don't use enough liquid, I mix with a milk frother instead of a spoon and does the job.Goes Well With:Apple Juice, Impact Whey/Casien
Mixed with protien shake, works really well, finding myself with more energy throughout my full workout, recovery time is less, lifting has increased. Very impressed!!!!
The effectiveness of the product is undisputed, I made good progress with my muscle mass and workouts while using CMH from MyProtein. For the price, you really can't go wrong if you're building an intensive strength routine. I personally found that I retained/gained muscle weight even while on a cut. Now - a warning about the flavour. The first pouch I bought was I think tropical flavour.. the taste was so strong, artificial and overly sweet that even when one tiny scoop was mixed with 500ml of water, it was still almost unbearable and I think I choked it down only twice, with the help of a straw, before I had to order a pouch of unflavoured. It was seriously revolting. The unflavoured powder, however, has almost no taste when mixed with water (it lends a very, very slight bitter taste at the back of the tongue) but when you're gulping down water after a workout you won't really notice it. You could even mix it with your protein shake after your workout, all it does is slightly lessen the sweetness of the whey flavoured powder. Mixability - mixes well, but it needs to spend a good two minutes dissolving in the water to go from cloudy to clear. Goes Well With:Water, protein shake
got unflavoured creatine went really well with my protein shake didn't effect flavour atall 👍
Quite simply,it's a very effective product! Never been able to do more than 5 reps on chest bench press (incline/decline) with a 30 kgs dumbell! Now i am, great energy source Goes Well With:True whey protein
My last creatin became lumpy in the pouch, wouldn't mix in water & made me bloated. Plus it cost more! This stuff is great, I mix it with orange juice before the gym & put it in my post workout shake too. Tastes totally neutral!
Good product, aids muscle growth and recovery time. My advice is to mix it with water in a glass and stir until fully dissolved (this will take 2-3 mins) as this product is not effective if not dissolved. Probably not the best idea to put this in your protein shake as you can't check if it's dissolved. I mix my unflavoured with water and it tastes like water. You could put squash in it after it's dissolved. Goes Well With:Water
After a month of training with just Whey shakes, I decided to add Creatine into the mix. I take 10g Creatine per day on training days (5g of monohydrate with a morning shake then 5g included in the recommended serving of Hurricane XS for post workout) and just 5g mono on rest days. I train for 3 days per week, mostly free weights. The weight is approximate when using this powder, I use a standard heaped teaspoon. I have the unflavoured version. I haven't tried mixing with just water but when included with a chocolate Whey shake it doesn't alter the flavour at all. Timings are the same each time. Always 5g first thing in the morning with breakfast and on training days an additional 5g immediately post workout in the evening. It took 2 weeks to make a difference. After that period I noticed a bigger post-workout pump (I assume due to the water retention). Shoulders, chest and arms look fuller and more rounded post-workout. This could be placebo as this could be occurring because I'm actually getting bigger but the pump definitely feels 'different', more satisfying. My abs are also more pronounced, especially the 'V'. In terms of performance (the main reason I started using Creatine), I've noticed an increased weight ability but only for compound exercises, i.e. not curls. By far the biggest difference for me is Dumbbell shoulder press. I used to shoulder press 14KG dumbbells and remember trying 16KG but it was very difficult for me to lift them up to the start position. Now my explosive power has increased, allowing me to lift up 22KG dumbbells and I can push 6-8 reps with that. In terms of curls: I feel increased endurance and the ability to squeeze out an extra rep but not the ability to increase my standard set weight without substantially reducing reps. So in conclusion: A better post - workout pump and for me personally, heavier weight and improved power for compound exercises, especially Shoulder press. Goes Well With:Any liquid (unflavoured)
An essential supplement for anyone who's training, only issue I have is poor mix ability with water but fine in shakes. Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
I've been taking it for 2 weeks I already feel like I am heavier and begining to gain weight and also putting more muscle on and more than likely will purchase the product again once it runs out as it is great value.Goes Well With:Water
Price can't be beat on this product, especially when on offer. I take the standard 5g a day and I usually mix it with either a shake or with cereal on days I don't have a shake. For this reason I always get Unflavoured, no need to get a flavour unless you want to have this by itself. All in all it is definitly the best value for money Creatine Monohydrate available!Goes Well With:Weetabix/Protein Shake
Found this to effective in helping me build explosiveness on my big compound lifts. Mixes easily and could not taste it at all when mixed in with my impact whey protein Goes Well With:Impact whey protein Instant oats BCAA
I have used MP Creatine on and off now for a few years, each time I go back to using Creatine I notice a significant difference in my workouts, especially with endurance, whether it's that extra 5 mins cardio or that extra rep. For a product that is so cheap and long lasting you may as well have it in your supplement cupboard, a 1kg bag lasts me quite some time, I usually take 4-5g after workout then 1-2g a bit later in evening/night. I read your muscles can be more effective taking on the creatine post-workout as they are more absorbent, same with protein...I gave it a try as usually I do pre-workout. I think post-workout is giving me better results but this could differ from person to person. Just sharing my personal opinion. I gave mix-ability 4/5 as sometimes it can sink after stirring, but swill the glass with water to get the rest from the bottom. Flavor 5/5 - I did not want to give it 1 as it does not taste bad, it tastes of nothing, so mix with juice or get flavored. I got unflavored.Goes Well With:Water/Juice I take with...but not in same mix...whey protein and BCAA
Really impressed with the flavors grape and watermelon, mix really nicely and taste great. For how cheap this product is it really is great value and the best quality you can find for the price. Goes Well With:Water
It's perfect and mixes so we'll also is very pleasant unflavored and a great source! Will always be back for more, best protein site ever!
I've used this supplement before but the other wasn't as good as this it blends really well with no leftovers at the bottom and. Is a great value for money.
I got the raspberry flavoured one, it tastes great, mixes well and I feel like I get a much better workout when I take this before. Next time is probably get unflavoured so I can mix with my vanilla whey.
Trials have shown Creatine Monohydrate works, so you needn't take my word for it. Visit examine dot com and read all about it. You probably know this already, but just in case: Taking this supplement boosts the energy reserves of the muscle cells so that during hard exercise you have a little bit more in reserve. This allows you to push slightly heavier weights around and/or do more reps, hence the increased muscle mass. In other words, taking this stuff doesn't build muscle, but it makes it easier for you to work your muscles harder and so leads to increased muscle gain. Tip: if you are getting stomach trouble after drinking, or are fed up of stirring the stuff to get it to dissolve, try using warm water. I use stuff from the kettle that has cooled a little. Just an inch in the cup should be enough. Once it is dissolved (usually very quick) stir in enough cold water to make it easy to drink off in one go, and Bob's your uncle. The stuff is pretty stable to heat, melting at over 250°C so hot water won't hurt it.
This tastes good, compared to others I have in the past. Mixes well, only had a little creatine left in the bottom of my shaker. Creatine is creatine, does what it does. I had it to mmy post work out shake, My Protein Impact Whey Summer Fruits & they taste good togther. Good value for money.
I normally buy USN Creatine. Thought I'd try My Proteins. Put a scoop in cold tap water and left for 5 mins with a few shakes of the bottle now and then. For the first time ever 100% of the powder dissolved...I mean totally gone. So this means getting full usage, very impressed
What can I say apart from WOW. When I started using this I felt like I had so much energy and I could lift a lot more than without using this. Mixes easily into protein shake
Well researched product, definitely feeling more of a pump after each session, a bit early on to see any effects but allows you to work harder and push more in the gym, excited to see the big gains soon Goes Well With:Water, milk and a set of descent workout tunes 👌
I've been taking creatine monohydrate for several months now as an extra sup along with my whey protein (post workout), i try to take it around 20 minutes before a workout however taking it any time during the day works just fine. I take approx 7g a day and i get a noticable buzz from it, also i feel it gives a better pump after a session and therefore enhancing muscle growth in the long run. As far as flavours go, its always got that bitter sweet taste no matter which ones you try i find! but its only 150-250ml so just see it off! great value for money as well, the 1kg you can get 200 servings out of! Fantastic product from a fantastic company. I always wait for good discounts to come along, but thats probably just because im a poor student!
I have bought two different flavours, the first one was blue raspberry, it was too sweet. I couldn't drink it, it was really really sweet. Then I bought the unflavoured version and it was much better. Good mixture and effect. I normally drink it with orange juice or just water. Going to buy again when i'm empty. NOTE: DONT buy the blue raspberry flavoured creatine unless you are really sure you like the sweet taste. Goes Well With:Water, juice. My mouth
This product is realllly good. Does what it has to do, Unflavoured has no taste and can be mixed easily with any drink without giving any bad after taste. I recommend this product because it improve the performance.Goes Well With:Water, any juice, Impact whey, bcaa
Definitely recommend the powder over pills. After taking for 8 weeks have noticed a lot of growth in muscles. Very good and effective when stuck to strictly and drink a lot of water. Taking with whey protein and thermopureGoes Well With:Whey protein, thermopure
I would have enjoyed this product a lot more if the package that it came in didn't break open ! The zips broke of within a week, it's happened to three product iv ordered with myprotein. Unhappy customer.
It mixes really well and works great
Came damaged and kindly got sent a new one. Tats is good can be a little sweet but easyily solved by having it with a lower volume of water.
Very good Creatine, dilutes very easily and it's very good quality. Take the Unflavored version as it contain a lot more protein than the flavored versions. preferably, take it with the post workout shake .Goes Well With:post workout shake
Works really well , easy to take ! Amount you need to to take is so small taste doesn't matter just stick in the mouth and chuck some water in. I use the yellow plastic cases from kinder eggs to carry each dose for work etc when loading ! Better than plastic bags and carrying the full bag
I have only just started to use this product but I have every faith it does what it says
This tastes amazing, I personally mix it with my grape BCAAS in the morning and post workout. haven't been taking this product long so can't really say on effectiveness. Goes Well With:BCAAS grape.
This is the first time I have used creatine monohydrate, I have had some great results and its taste is good too, I chose Berry blast and it tastes good. I would definitely recommend to a friend. I have read a lot about the side effects etc, I haven't noticed any, as long as you drink plenty of water with it too.Goes Well With:Water
This actually helps you when doing weights its like drinking red bull but creatine is better.Goes Well With:Orange juice, Blended fruits
First time I have used this product and very pleased with it. It mixes really easily in water using the shaker bottle and the lemon lime actually tastes fine. The only negative I would say is that the powder is a pink colour but as soon as you add water it goes a very luminous green colour, which is visually a bit off-putting and if you get the powder on your hands they turn green as well, so you have to be really careful not to touch it or you head down the gym with a green tinge on you hands!Goes Well With:Water
Brilliant product. As long as your smart with it. My protein is great supplement website they don't try and con you. Very happy customer. Goes Well With:Apple juice.
The Sour Apple variation only contains 4.35g per serving, by the looks of reviews, its down to the flavouring powder which is a simple fix. The taste isn't great but no supplement is supposed to be enjoyed like a fine summer wine! If you want a creatine that works for cheap, get the unflavoured and stick it in squash, juice, shakes or anything with a bit of flavour! However, this should be used carefully with Pre-Workouts, over consumption of creatine will give massive stomach upset Goes Well With:Impact Whey, iBCAA, Pro:Long, Macro:Meal, MyPre
Until a few months ago I had never used any supplements with my training, instead relying on my diet for my protein and energy needs. After a loooong hiatus from any sort of training, I got back into regular weight training, but this time with Impact Whey and CLA in the mix. I made rapid progress and got lean very quickly (I was pretty flabby at the start), but then I seemed to plateau with my training. Decided to give Creatine a go and - wow - this stuff works!! After the saturation phase (3 times a day for a week) I found that I had so much more power and endurance during my workout, I was adding sets, extra reps and increasing training intensity dramatically, with noticeable results in just a couple of weeks. Will be interesting to see results over the next few months. Highly recommended Goes Well With:Lots of water, Impact Whey Protein
Very good, have already seen improvement not in just look but in size, feel a lot stronger aswell, awesome product, delivery fast aswell
So I heard creatine works like magic, it sure does! I take 5grams post workout, to have now been using it for a couple of months I can go to the gym for hours! I can fit in chest & triceps in one session etc. Top product for the price. Goes Well With:Unflavoured creatine with whey protein
Absolute outstanding product.. mixes well and is unbelievable value for money.. been buying for the last year and will continue to for the foreseeable future
Very good Creatine a sensible price! If you're unsure on whether to get creatine, i'd definitely recommend it. Without going to much into it, it helps your body produce more ATP from ADP faster, which helps with energy. If you're into explosive movements. Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Sprints, athletics etc then this is definitely a good thing to have. Some people respond to it better than others so it's worth a try. simple creatine monohydrate is excellent, and myprotein offer it at a good price, there's no need to spend more on it from other stores. also it's one of the best mixing creatines i've had! Usually go with non flavoured, but have tried grape and Blue Raspberry. Grape was nice, especially mixed with apple and blackcurrant squash. the Blue Raspberry was ok. This is definitely worth a try! 5-10g daily, no need to load or take a week off from it.
I bought the sour apple creatine, sour apple is one of my favourite flavours so I was proper keen to try it but it just tastes like chemicals, not a hint of sour apple. It's so hard to stomach! I have never had a problem with any myprotein product before and usually find the flavours to be well above the average but this is just too bad. I actually thought I had gotten a bad batch because the taste was that bad. I can't give it 1 stars because it's still creatine, it still works and it has incredible mixability but the taste has totally ruined it for me and has put me off trying any other flavours. I'll stick to berry blast from now onGoes Well With:A science lab
I ordered the blue raspberry (stevia) flavour and have been taking it for about a week and it is absolutely fantastic. I was rather apprehensive at first regarding the stevia; imagining the taste would not be great; however, it is delicious. I usually have 5g with 500-600ml of water pre workout then 3g with 400ml of water post workout.Goes Well With:Water (the more the better)
This product is great at first I didn't know if it was going to work , but after having 1 scoop with water , every morning I've noticed a difference after a few weeks , I can lift a lot more heavier things and work and for a longer period of time with out getting tired I would defo recommend , I also use the unflavoured 1 as you do not notice anything and u can mix it with and thing like water , milk or even in your diet shake or whey protein Shake , Goes Well With:Water , milk , diet shake , whey protein, much more just have to experiment your self
After taking this product on a hot day in the UK at 17 degrees Celsius i found myself drinking roughly 2-3 little of water while in the gym and this product greatly speed up the rate my body used up the water, yes it did its job and kept me fuelled but at the cost of taking 3 bathroom trips mid workout, did a great job but beware! Goes Well With:Water & bathroom breaks
I've used creatine in the past but my protein's brand is the best and the price is very reasonable. No bitter after taste either.Goes Well With:Whey protein
Let's face it, unfavoured creation tastes horrible which is the only reason I've given the flavour rating 2 stars. The product does it's job though. Giving me the boost I need for trainingGoes Well With:Impact whey
