Choline is a water soluble B vitamin which can be produced in the human body, but natural quantities are often insufficient. Natural sources of choline include egg yolk, legumes, wheat germ, peanuts, and organ meats. Bitarate is added to the choline to enhance the absorption rate within the human body.
Choline is used to make acetylcholine which contributes to normal lipid metabolism, the maintenance of normal liver function and normal homocysteine metabolism which aids with cardiovascular function.
Choline Bitarate is recommended for anyone looking to improve body composition and reduce body fat levels.

I originally bought this after some blog on a paleo diet I was reading explained how most people don't get enough choline. Being an ex fatty boy, I had fatty liver disease and I read somewhere that Choline not only prevents non alcoholic fatty liver disease it can also help repair the problem. Well, after 3 months of taking the recommended dose in the evenings, I had my recent blood test results back. For the first time in 10 years, my liver isn't leaking. I can only assume that the Choline has helped alongside a healthier diet and supplementation. I mix it in with my evening protein shake otherwise it is a noticeable powder in thinner liquids like water. The smell when you open the pouch is pretty dire. smells quite fishy however this does not come through in any taste. The pouch doesn't come with a measuring scoop but on the plus side the pouch lasts months and is cheap as chips.
Good product But if you take at least 1 gram per day may cause extreme diareea It would be nice if you would also sell Choline Citrate

"I used 100 mg of this stuff in the day and it made me feel pretty easy and relaxed. 100 mg at bedtime made me sleep fast. In the night I noticed it was quite 'sleep drunk' when going to the bathroom (more than normal). My legs felt a little weak both times I tried it. Seems to work nicely, but shouldn't be overdosed. Pretty sure it wasn't placebo effect, I know my body well. Anybody training on this? Might speed up recovery as parasympathicus (triggered by acetylcholine) controls regeneration..."
I got this Choline Bitartrate for the sleep benefits more than the fat metabolism. I take 1 mini MP scoop before bed and It definitely gives me a deeper sleep as I wake up more refreshed, but it does not help with getting to sleep. It also gave me lucid dreams which are quite fun. It mixes easy and tastes okay as well. Goes Well With:Water
It's difficult to establish whether the Choline Bitartrate did have effects e.g. the metabolism of fat. After 2 weeks of recommended use, I haven't seen any different fat loss results. However, Choline Bitartrate has definitely helped with sleeping, it has been letting me dream vividly and able to remember them too. It has a shocking smell though.
"Unfortunately I found that it gave me a really bad stomach (and diarreah!) which took a day to go. I tried it again just to make sure I could realistically connect the bad gut to the Choline, and again, I was unwell with it. However, at a very low does I was then okay. It was the 1g dosage that made me so unwell - maybe be cautious if you have a sensitive stomach. You should be okay (as other reviews support) with a smaller dose. My legs also felt weak with it and I felt quite light headed, but this passed relatively quickly"
