I have to admit that I read the other reviews of this product thoroughly before trying, and although there were a number of comments about poor mixability and one about taste I decided to give it a go. In 2.5 years of training & using protein products this is the first time I've had what I consider to be a failure. I just can't get on with the product for two main reasons. Sure I feel better great after I've managed to down it & I do believe that the protein is absorbed more efficiently, but for me it's just a no-go product. So what about it is so bad? Let's start with the flavour. I bought the chocolate flavour, as this has always worked well for me in the past no matter what type of protein I've had. In this instance it was probably the worst flavour I could've chosen. The shake doesn't taste very chocolatey at all, in fact there is a definite meaty taste to it - not to mention the after taste. The best mix I've managed has been using the remains of my orange & cinnamon workout drink as that just about masks the flavour while I'm drinking. But nothing can take away the after taste. I can only manage a portion of this if I have a flapjack, seed bar or something like a Nakd bar to quickly eat after it as that does mask the aftertaste to a manageable degree. The next problem is mixability. I have an MP shaker with the mixer ball which has worked with every protein powder I've used in the past, but is a complete failure with this particular protein. No matter what I try (adding a little water first to swell the protein, making it really watery, trying to make it thick) I just can't get it to mix. It foams up ridiculously & the foam seems to lock in the protein - so I end up with watery chocolate drink & over half a shaker of foamy protein - which just tastes rank! Sadly I bought a 2.5kg pouch so I have rather a lot of it to get through. Within 3 days I had ordered a 2.5kg pouch of Whey because I just can't handle this on a daily basis, let alone twice a day. I'm sticking with using it after my 2 hour sessions (Bootcamp, Spin & Body Pump) on a Saturday as it does help with recovery from such hard work, but I feel that's the only time I workout hard enough to be able to justify following up with a flapjack as I have to be very careful with my carb count. So in summary, it's a high quality protein which seems to help with muscular recovery (hence the 3 star overall rating), but it's a impossible to mix without making a really foamy drink & tastes awful. It's like drinking a sirloin steak mixed with a thin chocolate shake.Goes Well With:Nothing!
Don't understand all the bad reviews! I am using banana favour carnipro and I like it! I mix it with milk, Greek yogurt and fruit even use it for protein pancakes! and there is no horrible aftertaste. Mixability could be better but its not that bad honestly! And I do have a sensitive palette, for example I cannot drink peptopro! I would recommend the banana carnipro to everyone, and if your that worried buy a sample first, dont let these reviews put you off. Their very harsh in my opinion.Goes Well With:Milk, Greek yogurt, in pancakes
The taste of the shake is good e.g vanilla was plain and tasty as expected. The Mixture is very sticky when mixed with liquids so try not to spill. However, very poor mixability as i used both a filter and mixer in my shaker but gives me a very lumpy shake after a good 2-3 minutes of shaking. The actual content of the Carnipro is of high quality but its not worth the effort if using a regular shaker as it produces a lumpy outcome. I recommend buying a shaker with a blender in it if you continue to use Carnipro. Positives are that it can be used if suffering with mild-moderate acne or spots as it doesnt flair up at all, as it is dairy free unlike whey which can cause spots to form.
Due to my paleo lifestyle I am unable to use whey protein (and the fact my body hates dairy). I have used hemp and although enjoy the nutty taste it can be overpowering with reasonable but not large amount of protein content. I decided to give this new product a try (unflavoured) as it only contains the hydrolysed beef protein and xanthum gum - no sucralose sweeteners like the flavoured ones. I am very impressed. I added it to my morning chocolate smoothie (300ml almond milk, 1/2 avocado, 1 small banana, 1 tbsp linseed, 1 tbsp cashew nut butter, 2 tbsp cocoa powder). It did not change the taste at all, however bumped up the protein content 22g!
For a smooth, tasty and perfectly mixed shake follow these instructions to the letter! 1. 200ml water in the MP shaker (make sure the metal ball is inside) 2. 1 scoop of Carnipro 3. Shake the hell out of it until the powder is completely dissolved. 4. For those who want milk in the shake, add 100ml or more milk at this stage. For those who want water only, add 100ml or more of water at this stage. 5. Gently roll the shaker on it's side to mix the added liquid with the froth from before. 6. Let the shaker stand for 30 minutes. 7. Gently roll the shaker on it's side again. 8. Within a few more minutes the shake is ready to be consumed. 9. Thank me!
I follow a strict paleo diet (aip) so it's difficult to find a protein powder to fit in with that! I use the unflavoured mixed with a cup of coffee, tsp cocoa and 1/4 cup of coconut milk for a quick and easy breakfast everyday, delicious and keeps me full til lunch. The unflavoured is great for those who want to avoid artificial sweeteners, you could easily add in your own flavourings and sweeteners to taste.
I used myprotein for pretty much all my bodybuilding needs, and as I don't eat dairy, I found their Vegan Blend to be my 'goto' protein supplement. Someone had recommended beef protein to me so I said I'd give it a shot and I'm kicking myself as I have actually just wasted €40.00 on Carnipro. I have had some tough to mix proteins in my day and never complained, but this went below and beyond all levels of mixability. Basically, you can only mix a half a scoop/serving into 750mls of water to get something remotely drinkable, and lumps still stick to your teeth and to the side of the shaker even after about five minutes of stirring and virgorous shaking! This is a nightmare after finishing an intense training session, as I have to make four shakes (five if you include the fact I can't mix in my Karboyln and Aminos as they just turn the Carnipro to something resembling wallpaper paste) and wind up spending the next two hours bursting for a pee, due to 3 litres of water in about ten minutes. I love Myprotein, I really do, and I spend the guts of 100 a month on their products but this is the worst supplement I have ever used and they really let their customers down on this one and I feel like switching to the other mob. I don't have a blender, nor should I be expected to fork out an extra 50 or 60 quid to buy a blender just to accommodate this protein shake. Goes Well With:A bin
First of all i would like to thank you for making a product which helps people who have lactose intolerance. I bought banana flavour and i was worried because of many negative reviews. Taste is acceptable, its not good like the whey protein but its not THAT bad tasting neither. Its little artificial, but seriously if you buy protein just to taste good, buy yourself a chocolate or stick with whey. I am really long in this sport and this product will give you gains with increased intake together with balanced diet. Mixabillity is little worst then whey protein but its nothing special. I dont understand all this negative reviews, maybe too easy life when you complain about so trivial things and make them look far worst then they really are. The best option if you have any diary digestive problems.Goes Well With:Water or Milk
Bought this as it had a good discount, but wish I'd read the other reviews first. Even with just 200ml of water in a shaker, this ends up overflowing with froth which doesn't settle. Chocolate flavour tastes like anything but and is vile. Ended up binning the whole thing after four servings. Far better beef proteins are available. Goes Well With:Nothing
Didnt read the reviews before buying this product and after 3 shakes id mimic what other people are saying, it mixes terribly and the taste of the vanilla is drinkable. Having said that you cant ignore the benefits of switching to beef protein. So much easier to stomach!
Initially i had problems with the mix-ability of this product. But i wanted a shake that wasnt milk based. However, i then started adding flax seed powder to the shake "also bought on myprotein" and now the shake mixes really well. Just carnipro, water and 10g flax seed. Has a slightly beefy taste, but it really doesn't bother me, but may bother others. I now think this is a great shake for anyone not wanting to use a milk based protein shake. Hope the review helps. Goes Well With:Water, Flax seed powder.
Let me start off by saying, I have seen the reviews slating this products mixability, flavour and effectiveness, if you shake it hard enough with the right amount of water (which is on the packaging) you will get a perfect thick shake easy to down or sip on those warm down walks back home or to the car! If you're looking for a lean post workout shake that's dairy free and will support you in cutting fat whilst also achieving clean gains, then this is the perfect shake, I've used this in conjunction with a healthy diet and two other supplements for the past 6 months and have managed to cut my body fat ratio from 57% to 24% and increase my strength (for example from 45kg bench press x 4 reps to 120kg x 4 reps in that 6 months of progression) This product won't be for everyone, but I feel it has helped me progress and achieve my objectives on the way to achieving my goals, I will admit the chocolate flavour is the only one that doesn't taste beefy, but the fact it's such a high protein and low carb protein (check the stats) in my eyes and for my purposes it is the perfect post workout shake, and great value! It takes a bit more elbow grease to mix it up, but if you're complaining that it's too hard to mix, perhaps you should change your mindset from lazy to problem solving. Goes Well With:High intensity training, Heavy Lifting, the right attitude.
As a lactose-intolerant bodybuilder, this is my dream. I have strawberry, vanilla and chocolate (make more flavours please!) and even though the mixability can leave a little to be desired - that doesn't put me off. I have a nutribullet blender so I just whiz it in there for a few seconds and it's airy and smooth and delicious. I rarely drink shakes anymore though, I have this with my oats every morning instead. 2 scoops chocolate carnipro, oats, peanut butter and a coffee. OR my other favourite: 2 scoops carnipro vanilla, oats, cinnamon and steamed apple. Oh lawd. I've also whizzed the chocolate carnipro with frozen raspberries before and topped with some walden farms and it was absolutely beautiful. I actually love the taste, I don't know how anybody is getting a meaty vibe from it. All in all this makes it easy for me to hit my macros deliciously and beefily. No bloating whatsoever - and the added bonus of creeping out my colleagues by telling them I'm eating oats and beef for breakfast!
Great product; tastes great, mixes very good once you get use to the product, tends to foam a lot but just leave it to rest or drink as foam still tastes excellent.Goes Well With:Water
I tried this protein as I like to mix up the Whey from time to time. The flavour isn't bad however it is close to impossible to mix this with anything short of an industrial blender. It just forms clumps which makes it pretty hard to stomach.
Im so happy i found an alternative to whey protein , whey protein i seem to come out with acne but carnipro it seems to have got better and my skin is clearer! Taste wise chocolate is horrific its the first flavour i tried i felt dissapointed so i tried strawberry and WOW amazing taste, i was relieved that now i have found a protein that doesnt effect my acne like whey does!!! Effectiveness = Great!!! i can see size gains and noticed my strength has gone up , the worst thing is the mixability the protein goes really foamy when you use it with just water or milk BUT if you use with instant oats it doesnt go foamy at all so the solution for the foam use this protein with instant oats!!! :)Goes Well With:Instant Oats!
Very nice protein!!! Always my first choice from now on. For me better then the whey protein ;D
Whey protein makes me sick, this doesn't. It tastes decent however does not receive 5 stars only because it is not completely soluble in water. Effective however & does the job a winner in my eyes.
The unflavoured one doesn't taste very good, but it is unflavoured, so no right to complain ;-) However, the mixability of the product is awful, even when you mix it for 10 minutes there is still lumps and foam. I tried to bake it as well, it was a really bad idea. Indeed, my cookies stick to the baking sheet. But still it is a good product, because completely suitable for paleo diet and sugar free addict and very high in protein.Goes Well With:blended with fruits in a smoothie
Yes mix ability in the standard shaker is a problem, however a good blender with water and a few ice cubes sorts that issue out... Taste is delicious, can't fault the chocolate flavour. Definitely prefer this type of protein compared to whey and whey isolate, easier on my digestive system. Will keep on buying from now on.Goes Well With:A blender and Ice
as carnipro was on special offer i decided to give it a go and picked the unflavoured version. am used to the hardgainer unflavoured mixes and to adding just a little cocoa powder, this way i avoid the ever present sucralose that comes with flavoured powders. first the taste: it's vaguely salty? i mix it with almond milk, a spoon of green and blacks cocoa powder, creatine and i tried to add instant oats as well for a high calories solution. the powder itself has got a dreadful smell to it, like... something died? but luckily it doesn't carry to its taste. but it made me hesitate when i had my first shake!!!! carnipro sits like a lump on my stomach after i injest it and keeps me full for hours. not the most pleasant feeling but i remember i was the same when i first started with the hard gainer mixes too. so perhaps it's a case of getting used to it. second, mixability: i hate to echo what everyone else said, but it's impossible to mix this powder adequately. you need a blender basically. and even then, if you mix it with instant oat powder like i did, you need to add a lot of almond milk (or other liquid) to make it drinkable, otherwise you're looking at concrete mix with added lumps! so you end up with about 1L of a shake, with a lot left at the bottom of the blender as it sticks like mad. third effectiveness: it's still early days so i don't know yet how this will compare to hard gainer. since it makes me feel bloated and full though, i cannot eat quick enough after and probably lose out on calories intake! but perhaps my stomach will get used to that. we need more ppl trying this powder out and for longer to be able to talk about its effectiveness and its effect on our digestive system. i wanted to try an alternative to dairy and whey, but i think until this product is made more shaker friendly i will stick to mixable dairy alternatives personally. would be good perhaps if myprotein could start adding this type of protein to new mixes like "carnipro hard gainer" for example to maybe improve mixability? Goes Well With:green and blacks cocoa powder + creatine
I have had varied success with this product. I have found that it doesn't mix well with very cold water and ends up lumpy. If however you use room temperature water it mixes perfectly. The taste of the chocolate is similar to other protein products I have tried- but is a little sweet for my liking, but i can live with that. I would buy this again.Goes Well With:unflavoured creatine.
Found out intolerant to whey protein so this stuff if a lifesaver and taste lovely
Short and sweet. I've tried banana and vanilla flavours - both taste really good. The mixability is awful, but I always use a mixer so... I'm used to it. Sadly if you complain about the taste of any carni product (not just myprotein) then you've likely not tried any others - they all taste similar. That's what hydrogelised beef protein tastes like, I can safely say the my protein ones taste way better than a lot of time other more expensive brands. Goes Well With:Water, a blender and the ability to down it in one go! (it's fine to sip)
Taste is ok (at least strawberry). The results after shaking are bad. Lumps, foam and u need to add water and shake again and again. It's not worth
Use a blender or a Nutri bullet - smoothest shake you'll ever had. Shaking by hand? Yes you will get a lumpy messGoes Well With:a blander
As someone with a true dairy allergy, not just a lactose intolerance, finding protein I can have is hard work. My protein offer the best variety that I have found with a few different options. I ordered samples of the vanilla and banana flavors and 1 kg of the strawberry. The results of this product are great, just what you would expect from whey. The taste however is not so great nor is the mixability. If you put the CarniPro in your shaker with either water or milk you will struggle to get a lump free shake. I did however use a nutribullet and that did the job great it mixed it all fine, so if you have a blender i would suggest using one. When I first tried the different flavours, honestly I thought they were disgusting. The flavours taste very artificial, and you get an aftertaste of beef (yes really!!). Even when adding fruit or other substances I found it hard to remove the beefy artificial taste (this was the same in all flavours). So if you have a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance this product is great for building mass and for results, but if mixability and taste makes the difference then personally I would advise this product is not for you. On the other hand MyProtein's Soy Protein Isolate tastes much better and gives just as good results although the mixability isn't much better, but this is now my regular protein and I would advise this over the CarniPro from my experience.Goes Well With:NutriBullet or any other blender. I would use water over milk personally because the taste will be just the same k so I wouldn't waste milk, cheaper to just use water.
I use Carnipro as I'm sensitive to dairy, I have tried vanilla and banana and I prefer the vanilla, the taste is not the best but it's not bad. The powder mixes ok (improved since my first batch) but it does need a good vigorous shake and it's worth letting it stand for a few mins and reshake before drinking. Overall it's a great product that I will buy again.Goes Well With:I mix my Creatine with it.
I've been told to use this as part of a plan I'm following, I was always a whey kinda guy. My first time mixing up a carnipro shake was a disaster with powder stuck to the lid of my shaker and an indigestible amount of lumps. No amount of shaking would rid the lumps so I just necked the shake and chewed a couple of lumps. I soon discovered my shaker was too small and to get a good smooth shake I needed a larger shaker with more liquid and room to shake. Once I'd figured that out I was laughing. Nice smooth, thick protein shake and although it's not a vanilla flavour as such I won't be going back to whey isolate I'm now a convert. I'm using this while cutting at the minute and am happy with the results I'm seeing while using carnipro. I do find I have a bit more wind than usual though!Goes Well With:Water, cyclic dextrine
Great tasting (banana) protein and is a great lactose free alternative to whey. No aftertaste and the banana flavour is good without being over powering. The only down side to this is the mixing. It is quite sticky and forms quite a lot of froth after shaking but this disappears after about 20 minutes. I find the best way to mix it is to add it bit by bit with shaking in between because it is hard to get it all to dissolve if you add in the full scoop at once.It blends really well in a smoothie and tastes fantastic with some peanut butter or chocolate powder. I can't compare the effectiveness to whey as I cannot use it but I found the results using CarniPro to be quite good.Goes Well With:Peanut butter Chocolate Cottage cheese
Bought this product as i'm running and cycling regularly. Read other reviews and opted for the unflavoured so i can add to it accordingly. mixing it with one tablespoon of cocoa powder and it does the trick. It mixes well if you follow the correct amounts. Tried if without flavouring first and as expected it is a required taste. However, it is what it is and it does what it does. More than happy.Goes Well With:tablespoon of cocoa powder
I agree that this may not taste brilliant as is, yet the addition of a few flavour drops makes this taste delicious; in addition to it providing great health benefits and a good amount of protein. Beef isolate leaves me less bloated and I am convinced I am stronger on it (may be due to creatine in beef). Will buy againGoes Well With:Flavdrops
Ive used MyProtein for years and tried a good mixture of isolates, total protein and non isolated. Always got Strawberry flavour and always been happy. THIS WAS NOT. First time trying this, it has a weird colour compared to the previous. It doesn't mix well and has a strong distinct after taste and doesn't taste as good as previous. As other review mentioned is a good protein source, just buy isolate or something else.... don't punish yourself to lump, foamy tarnished flavoured with Carni. Save your money, I'm struggling to get through it and mixing with my isolated to make just about drinkable.Goes Well With:nothing
Since making the switch to carnipro from musclemeds carnivore I have found my self less bloated and I've recovered quicker. It's great tasting and mixes well.Goes Well With:Coconut milk and in smoothies
After becoming sensitive to having chocolate in an evening, after already not being great with dairy, I decided to try out some non cocoa options, and Vanilla CarniPro seemed a reasonable choice. It was an complete surprise when one scoop with 300mls of water mixed in the blender like an absolute dream, it was hard to believe it wasn't made with icecream, really thick and the taste was right on the money. Can't wait to try the other flavours too, especially if the textures are the same. I haven't experienced cramping since using CarniPro, even after taking breaks and hitting the gym hard again, although it could be the BCAA's and Creatine working well with it too. I would recommend this to anyone who bloats with the dairy options, this is certainly an excellent alternative.Goes Well With:Water was fine
So long whey protein! No more bloated feeling. No more lactose intolerance. Carnipro is just what I was waiting for. I just wished I discovered it sooner. I love the strawberry flavour. Usually I do not like very sweet things, and the strawberry flavour is sweet, but its actually very nice. I mix it just with water. I use about 300mls of water to 50g of powder in a hand shaker. This makes a nice thick shake and I found that if you use less water you wont get the froth that most people are complaining about. Yes, it does not mix fantastic, but I really don't mind the odd bits that did not mix in. I have been using whey protein for years and struggled to get it down and after a while my body just refuses to let me take it without me gagging. I've almost finished my 1kg of Carnipro and I'm already buying my next bag. Do yourself a favour, and go and read about the facts of beef protein v whey. You will too wonder why you bother with whey.Goes Well With:Water
This is literally one of the worst protein powders I have ever used. On the plus side it seems effective and it is digested easily and without problems. But it is almost unusable. If you are looking for a non dairy powder you could try Soy protein isolate, it's much better than this. I normally mix protein powders with water and instant oats on my blender and this is the only thing that saved me when using CarniPro. Mixability It is almost impossible to mix with a blender, let alone in a shaker and don't even think of mixing it with a spoon. This powder is very hydrophobic forming nothing but sticky lumps once in water. These lumps are like glue and will stick to anything and especially on a spoon. Adding oats certainly helps mixing this thing but still you have to blend it, let it soak for at least 15', and then blend it again before you can drink it. Most of the times I ended up drinking lumps anyway. However one time I made the mistake of blending it with water only (no oats) and then came the foam. Terrible foam that is impossible to get rid off. So this definitely puts the gym shaker off the table too, unless you are willing to drink a bubble bath. Taste I bought the vanilla flavoured CarniPro. It was not good... It certainly could be much worse though. When I first tasted it, it had a mildly pleasant taste, but that lasted for a split second and what followed was a strong metallic aftertaste. Once again mixing in oats helped mask that aftertaste a lot. Still I had to brush my teeth after every shake. I will not buy this product again. I believe the whole purpose of having a protein shake is saving time and making your life a little easier. The process of making a shake became as time consuming as having an actual meal. Goes Well With:Not buying it.
I have trouble with dairy based protein so thought this would be an excellent substitute. It tastes great... once you can get it to mix. I really struggled to get it lump free in a shake & it also did not make very good protein treats (mug cakes/pancakes). From previously using xanthan gum in cooking I think this is what makes the powder so difficult to mix.
I didn't know quite what to expect given some of the reviews on here, but all in all I'm very pleasantly surprised. I've just ordered my third bulk delivery and one of the main reasons I've kept going back is that a few times I've been away from home for a week or two, and both times unable to pack this stuff, and I definitely noticed various differences. Firstly, I noticed a slight shortfall in gains expected for those periods, and secondly, I noticed a change in my skin and hair's oiliness: without the beef protein both had gone back to being as oily as they were prior to my taking this regularly. The latter must have happened without my even noticing; that was, until I went without it, so nice side effect. I've only tried vanilla and banana, but both are very tasty. Regarding the mixability: I use a blender and usually blast for a few seconds with the powder in any liquid and solids, scrape the sides of the blender with a spoon for a few seconds, then blend again for a few seconds, and voila! Not too much hassle at all.
This will teach me to read reviews in future!! Every other brand of Beef protein I've tried, mixes like a cordial (juicy rather than milky) This definitely does not! I've tried 3 different shaking aids - same result: lumpy, viscous sludge Even in a blender - As if anyone wants to be messing about with a blender after a hard gym session(??) you just end up with a jug full of froth! I rang the Customer Care line, who, to be fair were efficient and helpful - The outcome? they sent another bag of the same product.... Same problem. Goes Well With:Bins
I recently discovered this product after searching for an alternative to whey/dairy which Makes me boosted and I'll. I love it, and intend on keeping it a regular part of my diet. I've tried vanilla and chocolate flavours so far and enjoyed them both, however I find the chocolate, although sweet, isn't too sickly like a lot of shakes. It's quite sticky, so try not to spill it. And it can mix up a little lumpy.Goes Well With:I've made shakes, protein pancakes, something a bit like choc mousse, all sorts!
bought this hoping it wouldnt upset my stomach like whey protein does but i cant get the stuff to dissolve well enough to drink, At best i got globules of unmixed powder with water.
The product is brilliant, can't fault it! Bar it being fairly sticky (not an issue) Only thing I'm wondering is if the hydrolisation process results in raising the acidity level compared to unprocessed meat? Goes Well With:Water
I'd been searching for dairy free protein for a while and decided to go with the beef protein which I found on here. The price is quite reasonable, although I did get it on offer. After reading bad reviews about the poor mixability, I still thought I'd give it a go, but when I did, it just turned to foam when shaking in my protein shaker. Difficult to drink bubbles as it bloats you out. Mixing with a fork seems to help.
As someone who can't tolerate dairy in any forms I've tried various dairy free protein powders including the but none of them are as good as the carni-pro. I don't understand all the negative reviews at all, I'm currently using the vanilla and the banana flavours and although the smell is a bit meaty it doesn't transfer to the taste at all. The mixability in a normal shaker takes a bit of effort but if you add 250ml of almond milk and give it a good shake then drink some down and about halfway through give it another shake there are no issues. It also mixes really well in a blender at home with added fruit or cocoa powder to change it up a tad. Try it for yourself abd I think you'll be plesently surprised.
The beef protein itself is very lumpy and times and doesn't mix well. I've found the best way is to put your scoop of protein into a shaker, then add roughly 4 shot size glasses of water (Doesn't sound a lot but it does work). Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds, then add the desired amount of water U would normally use. Shake again for 10 seconds, then voila! That's the smoothest you're gonna get it.
So I decided to give this a try after careful consideration, must admit I didn't expect much from this protein. Especially since almost all reviewers are complaining about the horrible mixability, which is true. This protein is very very sticky, I mean sticky... Like glue. My first attempt was a disaster, so was the second one. Both times I ended up with just clumps floating in the water... I don't give up this easy so after my workout today I decided to use my hand-blender. Did it work? Absolutely, not a single clump left. Nice thick and creamy texture, flavour could do with some improvement but as a person who can't handle normal or soy protein this is a god send. Please DON'T give up on this protein just yet! Goes Well With:Water, milk
I have consumed whey isolate earlier but decided to move away from whey as it was giving me pimples. I purchased this and it was absolutely frustrating. The powder looks and smells excellent but as soon as you add water, it forms sludges and lumps which are practically unbreakable, no matter how much you shake or stir. Nothing can dissolve this into water. I had a time consuming process to press the lumps hard with the mug's inner walls with spoon to make it a paste and stir again, and make the big lumps into small ones but they continue to exist. In order to solve this problem, I take dry beef protein powder, milk powder, and some chocolate powder and mix them well... only then add water because it forms lumps only with water. It solves the problem though it takes a good deal of time BUT ANOTHER CONCERN IS THAT, it gives me a lose motion the next morning. It happens almost 75% of the times so I know it was not well digested and my body could not take the nutrients. A guy I know also purchased it the same time and he also says he cannot digest and ends up with lose motion always. In one word - just DO NOT BUY THIS.Goes Well With:Nothing.
The taste is very nice. I mix 200ml milk and 1 large scoop then shake well to get as few lumps as possible! Goes Well With:A2 Milk (lactose free)
How do I sum this up in one sentence? The worst protein product I have ever purchased! I cannot comment on the effectiveness of this protein because it simply will not mix at all!!! It is actually frustrating because it sticks to the fork, it sticks to the whisk, it sticks to my blender, it sticks to my glass, it floats on top of the water. In fact, it does the complete opposite of mixing. I mean, there's bad mixability and there's this. Beef protein sounded like a great idea to supplement bodybuilding, but no. If you read this and still buy the product, I told you so. You've been warned. Goes Well With:Nothing
