Only recently started taking these so it's hard to see the effectiveness just yet. However, the are really huge and quite hard to swallow. Also, because it's a bit of effort to get them down I do forget or not bother! I know they are essential though so think i'm going to bite the bullet and pay a bit extra for the powder next time.
The 4:1:1 ratio is spot on, but these tablets are mammoth! Be wary if your not good with tablets. Also, although they are very competitively priced, remember you'll need to take 9 a day minimum so the pot won't last you long.
My only concern was with the size of the tablets(bit difficult to swallow) otherwise I recommend this.
Well the pills are a bit big but you can always cut them in half or chew them before swallowing with a little water. Much better than trying to mix your average bcaa powder with water, and they don't leave you with that bland taste in your mouth afterwards... As for results, I think the recovery time is greatly reduced and also you won't have that "I want to eat the entire house" feeling after an exhausting workout, which is very useful If you wan't to keep your diet in check while working out hard!
OMG this is some amazing bcaa! I've tried several brand competitors version and it beats no where near this one! I get instant recovery (if you follow the instructions) and I'd use the 5 tablets only if the workout is very intense and you're feeling the aches straight after. I do crossfit as my main training and this helps me to carry it on for longer and better performance with fast recovery if you combine it with vitamin d, whey protein and GSM
Tablets are a little hard to swallow whole. Found it easier to break them in half. The only problem then is that im taking a range of 13 smaller tablets (combined with other multivits and creatine). I get some funny looks at work, when Im gulping down so many tablets and washing them down with a protein shake, but as long as they do the job, who cares? Im more interested in the gains than what other people think ;-)
These tablets are quite big but I don't mind taking tablets so that's okay. Definitely noticed a difference in taking these, don't ache nearly as much after a workout.
Only just started taking these so cant comment on how effective they are for my training just yet, but be aware that the tablets are massive! I have to break mine into 3 or 4 pieces to get them down otherwise they get stuck in my throat. Having said that, I'm looking forward to seeing the positive results that I will get from it.
Hi guys I have now been taking these bcca tablets for a week and within the week I can see how much it helps me recover ! I was very ware that it wouldn't make any difference at all. I work shift work and I have found taking theses have also improved my energy levels at work so I would defo recommend them. The only down fall is they are hard to swallow.
I used these before and after my workouts for energy and recovery. Feel results straight away, can't see myself not ordering these as already on my 3rd bottle. Tablets are a little on the large size, but if this is an issue you could take them individually Supplement that worksGoes Well With:Use with protein shake or bar for pre / post workout
I started taking BCAAs 2 weeks ago and I've noticed a difference in recovery time already. The tablets are HUGE (and I'm a pretty good tablet taker) and need to be properly lined up in your mouth before swallowing or they can stick in your throat. Thats the only downside. If you're not good with big tablets get the powder.Goes Well With:A big fricking drink to wash them down
The only minus is that is difficult to swallow. You should put it really back on your tongue and then swallow with water or you should brake it to some smaller pieces. and than take with water.
Only been taking these for about 3 weeks and can already see the changes taking place, 110% worth the buy
Great product. Would recommend to anyone that is interested in building/maintaining muscle.
Been taking bcaa for two mouths seen a good inprovment in my gym work more stronger last longer
The pill may seem a little big at the first look and it kind is hard to swallow until you get used to it, but it doesn't matter that much because it does the job! I feel better in general - get more rested by sleep - muscles are getting more size and it gets you more edge on power training! Do not hesitate to order cos it is what you need...Goes Well With:Alpha-Men, Whey, Creatine, Tribulus
I've been taking 4 of these before bed each night as part of recovery. Apart from there sheers size and sometimes tricky to swallow ( about 500ml will do it) they are really effective and have been improving my results and reduce the doms slightly so I'm very happy. Just maybe make some smaller size tablets and I'll be a happy bunny! Goes Well With:BCAA powder, L Lecuine, Calcium, Omega 3.
Taking these babies for a while Do they work? You bet your boots they do Keep taking these with all the rest of it The guns will be BOOMING
Great balance of BCAAs. Big tabs but sometimes it's easier to have tabs than make up a drink with powder. I can't say I've noticed performance improvements but then I was taking other BCAAs before so it's not a fair test. The evidence is there to support BCAAs and leucine seems to be needed in larger amounts so this ratio is great.Goes Well With:water
These are great and much better than the powder version, which does not mix well at all. Definitely recommend to keep those aminos in!Goes Well With:Water. Post and pre-workout
BCAAs are a must! I was put off by the reviews of the powdered version because of comments on taste but since then flavoured versions have been brought out so trying those next!! These tables are fine though quite bit!! Few occasions they have got lodged in my throat which I a little painful. Dosage requires 3-5 I think I'd rather take 6-10 and they be half the size.
Very good results so far, only used for 5 days, taken 3 tablets, 1 before workout, 1 after workout and 1 before bed, the results are decent, i can see the increase in muscular strength as well as definition, check out my results on my instagram - afzal_1996 and my twitter - YourDadAfzal, this product WILL NOT DISSAPPOINT YOU. Doesn't mix very well as its a tablet, hard to swallow but cut in half then swollow with cold water, results work fast, healing muscles within 24 hours. Amazing product and great price, will last long! And will be purchasing every month, THANK YOU MY PROTEIN.. Goes Well With:Cold water, post and pre workout, before bed and with high protein meals!
Good value BCAA tablets. Really a bit too large to sensibly try and swallow in any reasonable quantity so usually bite the bullet and simply chew them up. Not the nicest taste as rather bitter but wash them down with a decent protein shake and you hardly notice them. As far as I can tell they do the job, I consume about 8 to 10 a day and they certainly seem to help with my recovery and to supplement the BCAA profile of the Myprotein whey powders which I use. Get them on one of the regular offers from Myprotein and they are even better value,Goes Well With:Whey protein powders
massive to big to swallow only thing i've bought of myprotein and not liked very unhappy with this product Goes Well With:about a pint of water to get one down your neck
I have been using the product for a few weeks now and have noticed a slight difference in size and strength. I haven't been using them long enough to see a massive change. When crushed they mix well with juice as a intraworkout drink, I do find I have to crush them a lot due to the size they are massive and hard to swallow. I am impressed so far and will continue to use this instead other previous ones I purchased.
Have had EAA's from Myprotein before and thought they were on the large size, these are probably some of the biggest tablets you'll find but they are shaped well enough for them to go down your neck easily. If anything this is a positive to me as larger tablets = less tablets to take. Couldn't comment on results but your pretty much guaranteed they will be of some benefit to recovery/growth as BCAA'S/EAA's are a key supplement but its hard to measure effectiveness, just make sure you get them down you!
Not sure why supplement manufacturers have to produce amino tabs in such large format and with such rough edges. Makes them really quite hard to swallow whole. At least they are really very soft and easy to chew, however the taste is rather bitter so best taken this way with a decent tasting shake to mask the bitterness. Good value for money however and continue to use as the mainstay of my amino supplementation.Goes Well With:Any MyProtien Whey powder to help up the amino profile.
If you ever enjoyed going to A&E when you were younger due to choking on Lego, then I'd highly recommend BCAA 4:1:1. Jokes aside they are hefty and pretty hard to swallow due to the edging of the tablet. I've been taking the BCAA 1500 for a few months and they are a lot smoother on edging while still equal in size, but seem to go down without a problem. Hopefully I see difference from the 1500 or I'm back to smooth city. :)
really easy to use, makes for a better session, and removes the pain the day after. Cannot say enough about this product. You have to use bcaa if you want to lift hard and see gains. Sure protein is important but BCAA go straight to the muscle where you need it. Goes Well With:any similar products
Great work on this one, I really see that is working and I already see some increase in my weightGoes Well With:Impact Native Whey 95 Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL
I bought these as i'm trying to drop fat and also sort out some brain hormone imbalances. As yet I have not been using them long enough to know if they are making any difference but i'll keep you posted. I bought the tablets after reading some reviews about the taste of the powder, and also because I didn't know the powder ratio. My only problem is the size of them!! They are like horse tablets. I have taken to chopping in half so that I don't choke. Only a small moan but thought it might be relevant to some more than others.
I have been using these BCAAs for about a month and a half. I'd read other reviews that suggested they could speed up recovery times and help with the dreaded DOMS. I bought a 120 tablet jar in the beginning to see how things went and yes, I was appreciably less sore, so I've been back to buy two large jars. The tablets are big and it does take a lot of water to get them down, and it can be uncomfortable if they go down sideways. I don;t know how they perform for bulking, and because these are the only BCAAs I've used I don't know how they compare performance-wise to a 2:1:1 combination.Goes Well With:A lot of water. An awful lot of water
i think it is a product that works for me. the bad thing is that these tablets are too big, so it is better to smush them a bit and then solve them in water for a while before you drink them. the taste is a little bitterish, but not a big deal, you can take them with some juice after all!!Goes Well With:water or juice
The BCAA's are very decent! They are quite hard to swallow because of the size but other than that negative the tablets are good.Goes Well With:Water
I ordered these because needed a bigger dosage of BCAA as training sometimes takes me an hour and fifteen minutes, ever since ive taken these i actually dont suffer from over training symptoms anymore! and thats even while in a caloric deficit, very impressed by these and muscle gains have been good, only downside, there HUGE, massive i tried to down 3 of these at once ended up choking, so one by one is the best way to go, if your a person who trains long then go for these, i couldn't recommend them enough!
Big tablets but if you dont mind that (like me) then great value for money. I feel less tired the day after intense workouts.Goes Well With:Water. Protein shake.
pretty tasteless and easy to swallow, best tablets for their price.. !0 times better than a powder..Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
Easy to swallow and more convenient than powder. Only my fist batch, but muscles feel a little firmer for longer. Will be getting another batch soon.
Tried various BCAA tablets, these are better than all apart from the slightly more expensice BCAA 1500 which I prefer. Still an essential part of my diet supplements. Would definately recommend as the ratio works well.Goes Well With:Protein powder Creatin Monohydrate
Find it has made me bulk up a lot quicker than previously without these, from both protein, or the previous 2:1:1 BCAA's.Goes Well With:A lot of water to get them down
Ok, I'd used the BCAA+ before, and didn't notice huge results - but there were some. Switched to the 4:1:1 mix and after about 2 - 3 weeks i'm noticing solid results. To be fair though, i've also gone from 2x3pill per day to 3x3 pill per day, doing 3 before 3 after workout and 3 in the afternoon. Anyway, recommend these, only pain is getting the things down - the tablets are huge and rough to swallow.Goes Well With:Thermopure & CLAs.
I have been using it for a couple of months and the results are great. Despite training almost daily, my recovery time has improved and I am able to perform much better. It has also helped me cope with a knee injury I have carried for months, allowing me to continue to run in the treadmill without any problems. I cannot say if 4:1:1 is better than 2:1:1 as my training has changed and increased. I think both products both well but I would go for 4:1:1 for intense training.Goes Well With:Glutamine
got these free with an order the tablets are big but very effective. very happy with them
After using this for two weeks now I can feel the difference in my lean muscle. .definitely will get it againGoes Well With:Water
Excellent tablets that are no hard to stomach.
New to BCAA I decided tablet form was probably best after hearing horror stories about the taste of the powder. The tablet itself is monumental in size, so much so I had a violent choking incident of which I will spare you the details. This is easy to overcome though, just bite it with a mouthful of squash and it goes down fine, no adverse taste. I've noticed a considerable amount of body fat loss whilst using along with CLA. It seems to enhance the pump Pulse V4 gives and I've seem considerable gains with my previous normal clean diet. Not necessarily size-wise, but muscles appear larger and better defined and can take much more of a beating in the gym. If, like me, taking powder with you everywhere (I'm at University a lot) is a hassle, these do an excellent job.Goes Well With:Pulse V4, Creatine, CLA, clean diet.
Great product, better than 2:1:1 ratio I think.Goes Well With:Water
These tablets are ridiculously huge! I was previously taking the BCAA+ tablets, and I thought they were big. These are bigger, and like the BCAA+, have no smooth coating, so I struggle to swallow them. Other than the size of the tablets, they seem to be doing the job.
