Quality product, great wrist support and grip. Just wish i'd got a larger size, i went for a medium thinking id be ok as i dont have the biggest of hands but they are very tight, i definetly suggest getting a larger size as you can tighten them to suit anyway.. Other than that they are brilliant, cannot fault them especially for the money!Goes Well With:Barbells and dumbells 😃
They are great gloves but the fitting is a (little) off. Advice from previous reviews is correct (thanks everyone, I'm glad I read before I purchased). Definitely get a size bigger than you think you may need. I have relatively small hands and slim wrists but the Large are about right. Still hard to get on and off (I doubt I'd even get Medium on my hands at all) but good fit once on. First off - they are quite stiff in the fingers. As result though they feel protective and sturdy. They are nicely adjustable. There is a main big Velcro strap round the wrist and a 2nd small Velcro strap between wrist and knuckles, allowing you to make them as snug as you want. There is a nice strong grip on the palm. Wearing lifting gloves makes me feel a little 'distanced' from the dumbbell as I have no tactile feel. The good grip means I'm never worried about dropping the weight and I can adjust my grip without the bar shifting. My hands move around in the gloves a little during pull ups but this is down to the fact the palms grip so well and I need to find the correct tightness with the straps. The biggest complaint I hear about gloves are the fact they fall to bits really quick. I can't comment on the longevity of MP gloves yet but they definitely feel high quality and like they'd last. Overall I recommend them. I bought them to get rid of the horrible calluses on my palms from bar friction and so far my hands are healing over nicely after just 1 week of use.Goes Well With:Hands, Weights, Pull-up bars, Looking like a boss.
The first set of MP gloves I bought over a year ago were 5*, quality was excellent and they lasted a long time. Second pair I bought once the first ones went the distance felt cheaper, like corners had been cut in production and they lasted only half the time of the first pair before falling apart and getting holes in them. After this occurred I switched brands and got a new pair, they were good and lasted a long time but still not as good as the first pair. Since then I made the drastic decision to buy the MP gloves once again, this time the quality has dropped even more, they are uncomfortable before I've even picked up a weight and don't think I will be buying them again. Ok I probably will in the hope you have old design as they were fantastic, these are just terrible. Goes Well With:A beer on the sofa, as if you pick up anything heavier than 10kg with these on they will just crumble.
Had my old pair of gloves for too long and were getting pretty tatty. Bought some as a replacement as I was happy with how they were. Inevitably there have been some changes since I last bought a pair, unfortunately, the changes haven't been for the better, not for the customer anyway, in myopinion. The overall quality and feel and fit of the glove is fine - like it has been, though there is less leather. There has been a change to the wrist strap and the velcro placement. The small velcro bit on the inside of the wrist is a bit pointless and makes the fit around the wrist not as supportive i think. The palm pad has the same design, but the material is tougher - better for durability, terrible for grip! The white markings used to be a rubbery, tacky type of stuff, but now its just white paint of some sort and has no function. Okay as a glove on dumbbells or something, but I think chalk might be better for any sort of lifting.
I'm glad I read the other reviews as I was thinking about getting medium sized gloves as my hands are not what I'd call large. However, these are quite snug. But even if they were too big they'd be ok as they have good quality fasteners. I don't get what people are saying about them being stiff or the other negative comments. They're really comfortable and do the job perfectly. I don't think there's much danger of them stretching and becoming useless like some other gloves I bought elsewhere. Would recommend! Goes Well With:your hands.
Glove came small and are like cardboard and ripped easy will not get them again they felt cheap
Seemed to be good quality at first, but after only two sessions in the gym the stitching on the palm of the gloves has ripped open and the padding is coming off. If it wasn't for this they would be quite good. They are comfortable and the wrist straps give decent support. Shame that the stitching isn't strong enough.
These gloves are comfortable, I was getting a sore spot which interfered with my archery, this has died down. Good grip helps with my workouts.
Very comfy, good grip and good wrist support. I'd say I have pretty large hands and the Large gloves fit like a...glove
They have a great feel to them - keep your hands safe from any rust, scratches and though times in dead lifts, pull ups whatever it is - would recommend getting a pair of these any day. Goes Well With:your hands I believe but you could try them on your feet too :P
stitches on the fingers go off too quick, and padding are just too short, it must protect up to proximal interphalangeal joints, with overlaps to middle phalanx. more looks like a marketing product, no real life use.
Not had them long but so far, so good. A lot of wrist support for bench but also use them for push ups on knuckles. Really comfortable and supportive. Good buy.Goes Well With:Any resistance training
Very good durable gloves. great design and quality.
Second time buying these from you. First ones lasted for a year now, and for the money you sell them, I have to say It's a great product since I don't get blisters at all and my grip is more stable/stronger so I can lift more. They feel soft on the hands, yet they "cushion" the bar so you don't feel the pain just the weight at your hands. Another product I definitely recommend to all you who think of buying lifting gloves- don't think twice, just buy it.Goes Well With:Hard gym training.
I have never used gloves before but I have recently started dead lifting and found the bar really shredded my hands. These gloves have good wrist support and allow me to tightly fasten (as I have small hands), also the give great protection to the hands when lifting the barbells. In my opinion a great purchase
Ok gloves but the quality just isn't there. The right and left glove don't even look the same. The straps at the back of the hand are in different positions stitched in different places.
This is the flat time I've posted a review on My Protein, but I felt compelled this time as I was very impressed by this item. These gloves are comfortable, fully adjustable, high quality and offer a lot of support for your wrists. Just what I was looking for.
The gloves have great grip and are comfortable.
These are pretty good for minimizing the development of callusses in the hands when doing eg. chin-ups. However, I do find myself going through a pair of gloves every 2-3 months, the palms padding usually starts breaking apart as does the wrist straps. But for the price, they are pretty good.Goes Well With:Chin-ups and other excercises involving heavy pulls
Finally found a pair of training gloves that actually do what they are supposed to do without ripping . Great value for money and fit like a dream, although I am glad I read previous reviews and ordered the large even though I don't have the largest hands .Goes Well With:Hard work.
