The Manus Thick Bar Grip is a unique training accessory designed to improve hand and forearm strength in order to maximise training performance and results.
By increasing the diameter of your dumbbell, barbell or cable attachments the Manus Thick Bar Grip helps to recruit previously under-used muscle fibres in the forearms, wrists and arms helping to improve grip strength.
Grip strength is a common weak link for resistance trained athletes and can be the cause of training plateaus, with poor grip strength often being the first reason heavy lifts fail early.
Made from a heavy duty, high density rubber the Manus Thick Bar Grip is easily fitted to any dumbbell, barbell or cable attachments, forming a tight grip around any standard Olympic bar.
Prise the grip open at the slit and push into position over the bar.

I bought these a few weeks ago, I would advise going down a few kg as my hands and forearms were not up for the challenge! Since using them though I think there is a difference in my forearms and overall definition in my arms! Buy!

I bought these as I wanted to improve my grip strength and forearm size. Have been using them for almost a month, especially in my back and biceps workouts, and they have helped me a lot. Using them with exercises as pulldowns, deadlift, curls, reverse curls, and they have definitely helped me improve my grip strength and forearms! Amazing product!

The Manus Thick Bar Grip is really good for increased forearm strength. It's perfect for static barbell hold and biceps curls. It doesn't slide with barbells or dumbbells.

I can say nothing but good words about this Manus Thick Bar Grip. It's much cheaper than other items on other online sellers and much better. I've seen a vast improvement in my grip strength which will help avoid wrist injuries in the future.

I do not have a lot to say except that the Manus Thick Bar Grip work well, feel comfortable and make lifting your normal weights a lot harder.

Grip from hell

The manus thick bar grip renders the grip extremely difficult ( the diameter doubles compared to that of a classic olympic bar).
It is rather easy to use and solid.
Try it first with the easiest exercices when it comes to the gripping ability ( biceps curls, dumbbell flies, etc.)
It is without a doubt a useful tool for those looking for a stronger grip if coupled with a hand gripper.
In regard to mass building I can't say anything yet but I'll keep you informed in a few weeks.

A few friends recommended the Manus Thick Bar Grip as I have fractured both my wrists before so when I was bench pressing, dumbbell chest pressing etc. I was feeling a lot of strain on my wrists. These divert the strain from my wrist and allow easier and more effective lifting. I've used them for bicep curls, shoulder pressing, (basically any exercise that involves dumbbells or a bar that they can fit round). Very effective and would highly recommend!

I've been using the Manus Thick Bar Grip for a couple of months now to improve grip/forearms for sailing. It's easy to use and carry in my gym bag. I've noticed a real improvement in my forearms. I personally like to use it with 'lighter' dumbbells during higher volume supersets.

I recently purchased the Manus Thick Bar Grip as I wanted to increase my grip strength whilst also improving on my forearms. I highly recommend this product. I use it for pull-ups, reverse curls, just about anything, and I feel a massive difference in terms of strength and endurance when it comes to lifting weights.
I also had a Golds Gym Power Twister laying around and didn't want to use it as I did not feel anything, but when I hooked this bad boy onto it, I could feel an insane pump in my forearms and the burn was unreal! I now use this as much as I can.

I love these, just used them today they are very effective. Unlike most of the folks here I am not after size just definition so I don't lift too heavy. My grip is a problem so these should work.

The Manus Thick Bar Grip adds a new angle to every exercise. It does exactly what it says on the tin and I have just pulled a PR deadlift where grip was not looking any where close to failing.
They do move ever so slightly on the bar though so you need to keep a check on them.Goes Well With:Heavy weights.

The Manus grips are an excellent addition to my training regime. When I first used them I was struck by just how thick they were; it takes a lot of concentration and effort to maintain your technique when lifting; which in turn makes for a more intense workout. It felt like my arms were going to explode when I first used them.
