    I buffer it with bicarbonate of soda so that it's less acid and fizzes a bit.

    Although research results have been inconsistent, Vitamin C is important in larger quantities for hard training individuals, and works synergistically with other nutrients such as vit e to enhance immunity. It is acidly sweet, so best to use it in juicy flavored drinks.
