    Overview

    The Myprotein Hot/Cold Gel Pack is a reusable, multi-purpose gel pack for the effective relief of muscular and joint aches and pains.

    Providing a consistent release of cold or hot temperature over a prolonged period of time the Myprotein Hot/Cold Gel Pack can help alleviate every day or sports related aches and pains. Supplied with a fabric sleeve and elasticated strap to allow direct and compressed application, the gel pack is ideal for those looking to utilise hot/cold therapy to treat injuries at any stage.

    For heat treatment the gel pack can be heated in the microwave or in a pan of boiling water. For cold treatment the gel pack can be placed in the freezer, remaining flexible at all temperatures. Made from specific, non-toxic gel the Myprotein Hot/Cold Gel Pack is the ideal tool for repeated hot/cold therapy on both muscles and joints.

    Suggested Use

    Cold compress
    1. Place gel pack in freezer for at least 1 hour.
    2. Remove from freezer and wrap in the fabric sleeve provided.
    3. Carefully apply gel pack to the desired area. Leave in place for no longer than 20 mins.
    3. After use return to freezer for future use.

    Hot compress
    Boiling:
    1. Bring pan of water to boil and remove from heat.
    2. Place gel pack in water for 8-10 minutes.
    3. Remove gel pack from water, wrap in the fabric sleeve provided and apply to desired area.
    4. After use, allow gel pack to cool and place in freezer for future use.
    Microwave:
    1. Lay gel pack flat in microwave and heat at full power (750w) for 1 minute.
    2. Remove from microwave and check for desired temperature (this will continue to rise slightly). If additional heat is desired, return to microwave and heat in 30 second increments.
    3. Once desired heat is achieved, remove from microwave, place in the fabric sleeve provided and apply to desired area. Gel pack may be re-heated after one hour.
    4. After use, allow gel pack to cool and place in freezer for future use.

    Do not heat gel pack in microwave for more that 2 minutes at one time. If heating from frozen, heat initially on high for 75 seconds, followed by 10 second increments until desired temperature is achieved. Watch gel pack while heating. If gel pack starts to expand, turn off microwave.
    Note: Microwave instructions are based on 750 watt power, please adjust accordingly. Excessive heat may cause gel pack to rupture and leak. If this should occur dispose of pack immediately.

      two words BUY THESE! Seriously good value, cannot actualy believe they are 1.99. They are very big you could easily cover your entire lower back and the straps will go right around your weist. Again very good value for money!

      i dont have one from MP but i have one from were they wear they are made from, (cant say wear) and the are great last for ever and they dont freeze solid they are well worth getting and just keep in your freezer and forget about it till you need it, i use them after hard running, worth £2 any day
